Such a clever method! I'm sure I have spare magnet set somewhere, and will try this today. Thanks so much, such a clear explanation and demo.

Thankyou for such helpful videos, would this machine work with a normal bigshot or s ToDo one?

It will work with a normal Big Shot but the smaller width of the machine will limit the size of card you can use. With the Big Shot Plus, because it is over 8" wide the card can overhang the edges of the foiling platform. You can also use a Todo as the die cutting machine - you take the green/blue platform out of the Todo and lower its roller so it just touches the top of the GoPress & Foil - If you need a little extra pressure you can still add card shims. I used my GoPress & Foil with my Todo when I first got it.

Great magnet line up tip! I’m surprised you use the the Gemini multi Surface foil and not the Gemini Paper craft.

I do have some of the Gemini Papercraft foil as well but, the GoPress and Foil works at a higher temperature than the Gemini Foilpress on it's "LOW" setting so I've found the Gemini Papercraft foil tends to over foil more easily than the Multi Surface version.
