FINALLY someone who’s gone with the stock and appreciates these beautiful firearms for what they are. NO UPGRADES NECESSARY!🏆🙏👍. I have both and will not change a thing on either!!
The PO1 was my first choice when I started looking last week. Then I found a used (looks brand new) P75 D and swooped that up in a heartbeat. What a sexy looking pistol, this ones gonna be a keeper!
Bought my first CZ in 1989 while stationed in West Germany, $275. LOVED it! Ex-wife sold it from under me. Just bought thr compact but the next buy will be the railed version, full sized.
This was an excellent review; thank you. I have owned a CZ 75B for decades and found it to be flawless, easily comparable to - and often superior to - other top-tier 9x19mm autoloaders (such a H&Ks, Sigs, Walthers, S&Ws,Rutgers, etc.). I recently purchased a P-07, principally because: > I wanted a traditional hammer-fired DA/SA for my EDC. > CZ quality, reliability, accuracy, ergonomics, sights and trigger are all outstanding. > I wanted capacity, recoil attenuation, sight radius and picture, and barrel length that are somewhat greater than the many, good 9mm mini-compacts provide, yet in a small enough package to be comfortably concealed. > I wanted a SA trigger pull that is crisp, light and non-gritty. The P-07 met all of the foregoing requirements and I was able to purchase one for an unexpectedly low price.
Thank you!!! Your one video, in the first three minutes, answered all the questions that I have been scouring the Web today to try and get answered. Subscribed for sure 😊❤
I enjoyed the video and was leaning toward the PO7 until I picked them both up. I went with the PO 1 for tHe same reason I like my other CZs - the ergonomics are incredible. It 's a great addition to my 85 Combat, 75 B and SPO1.
Thanks for the video. I have a CZ-75 BD Police but I'm wanting a compact carry model. I narrowed it down to these two but was unsure of the specific differences. You cleared everything up. I don't own a polymer firearm, but the P-07 is looking pretty darn good. Thanks for all the info.
Killabee-23 that's the point though. CZ is only known to gun enthusiasts. Anyone new to guns, and even plenty of people on the street have heard of Glock, Beretta, Smith and Wesson, Remington, Mossberg or Colt. CZ doesn't have name recognition outside of people who are already interested. We know that they're great but they aren't talked about in movies or used by a ton of police departments/US military units...
I bought another p-01 a couple months ago and still haven't shot it. I don't intend too I bought it to put in the safe and not touch. Bc it's my second one. I'm looking at getting a p-07 to take the place of my p-01's I love compact CZs
I have the P09 and am currently trying to decide between these two. I LOVE the P09 Omega trigger, with some of the CGW parts I've upgraded and am considering the P01 with Omega as well.
Something I definitely forgot to mention in the video! You are correct, the P-07 has the omega trigger allowing for use of a safety or decocker (both comes with the gun, deocker is installed default). The P-01 uses the traditional CZ trigger system. The P-02 I mention in the video comes with a safety and the omega trigger system. Thanks!
If I'm not mistaken I think the P-07 Gen II has the Omega trigger system in it, the Gen I does not, subtle differences but there are a few, I am the proud owner of a gen II I got Feb this year.
I just picked up a P07 for 389. It maybe had a mag through it i love it. More ergonomic than my glock 19. It was smooth and good to go. Doesnt need to be broken in like other new pistols that may be gritty but over time gets better. Pistols in the size of the 19 P07 P10C P01 are perfect size for open or concealed carry
did you buy your P07 new or used? Wasn’t sure if CZ still made them? I would get one if I found the right price. Had a PO9 and traded it for an SPO1. My 09 was a very nice gun.
A2DuhBee I have a 2022 as well. It is also a great handgun although I definitely prefer the P-07 to the SP2022. I guess I could make a video comparing them if I get a chance this week :-)
I had the older version of the P-07, the duty. Trigger left a lot to be desired. Long pre-travel, and spongy before the break. Looks like they have improved it tremendously. I would purchase a P-01 in a heartbeat, if I could ever find one around central Florida...
Ordered a cz p-01 yesterday. Currently own glocks 19 an xd mod 2 and a walther ppq. Looking for a hammer fired gun to carry and hope this will fit the bill. Never shot one but reliability is my main goal in any gun .
Think I'm going to go after a P-01 because the trigger seems a little smoother in the double action option....which is what I would be firing from a majority of the time. Realistically, I don't know how often I would use the single action option. Thanks for the helpful review.
Thank you for the clarification. I'm looking to purchase my first CZ had my interest peaked on the CZ P07. I then was told that these weren't reliable.
Not a problem and I'm not sure who told you they aren't reliable but I have never had reliability issues with any CZ I have owned and I have owned 12-15 different models and have 25-30K rounds through CZ handguns. I would trust my life with any CZ including the P-07.
Pookat106 There were problems with the first generation in the P-07 Duty but was only polymer frame bulge that many people sent back for warranty but never affected reliability of the weapon.
Po7 is $510 best live I could find . Gone up $100 in a year. But 40 cal is cheaper , but you don't want to buy that.for some reason the 40 cal keeps having failures to eject or feed
I have the P01 & will be grabbing up a P07/P09 soon. I'm really not digging the polymer's but may hafta dip into this as the gun needs nothing (albeit, maybe fiber optic sights). Time will tell. Good review on both of these CZ's.!!
Good video all around I've been debating on which one to get I'm leaning more towards the p01 just because it looks a lot better to me and the after market is a little bit better.
Oh the magazines are 15 round capacity because they are using a stronger spring . They are the same mags for both po7 and the po7 Duty,So if you want 16 rounds get the mags for the Duty model🤗
The cool thing about the P-01 passing NATO certification is it isn't really that unique. All the internals, minus maybe the hammer spring can be swapped with full size decocker parts. The alloy frame can even use the full size slide.
Great video I have the cz75bfull-size I have been told the 07 has the old mega trigger what do you think of the Omega trigger is my question I shot one that was on CZ 75 b and did not like it at all. Call CZ and all they would say is it's a cheaper mechanism. Thanks for the video
First, thanks for watching! I don't notice much difference between the standard trigger on my P-01 and my CZ 75B vs the P-07 with the omega. I think they both have very nice double and single action.
The only weak points that I found with mine was the firing pin retaining pan. It does get chewed up and you need to spend $11 and get a steel one from Cajun gun Works. personally, I don’t know how it qualified for NATO because the firing pin retaining pan is a noun issue and a weak point of the gun but after you replace it, it is a dream
It uses an aluminum alloy frame. Steel is an iron-carbon (at a minimum) alloy. My biggest problem with the P-01, aside from the absence of a manual safety, is aesthetics -- the dust cover is too short, resulting in rail being exposed: tacky, tacky, tacky. Add a +2 extension to the 14-round compact mag and you get a flush 16-round mag.
I greatly prefer the P-01. Its my edc, and I prefer the all metal construction and NATO torture test. I also believe its a more accurate firearm than the P-07, which is why CZ shoots their polymer test targets at 15 meters and the metal framed guns at 25 meters.
PlanetRigo i agree with u and the extra u shape in which the slide is in helps prevent dust from entering the moving parts making it more reliable in combat. The p07 is a great weapon just think the p01 is more reliable and practical.
Austin, I'm loving your CZ reviews. They're great for CZ noobs like me since CZ makes so many seemingly identical models. Your videos definitely help cut through the confusion. BTW are you current/former USAF?
drw1926 I'm glad the videos help! I know how lost I was when I was trying to decide which model was right for me so I hoped these videos would help. I am still active duty AF.
Yeah I thought that was an AF unit or branch insignia as your profile pic. If I had to guess it looks like an SP insignia, but honestly all of the AF ones look the same to me LOL. I retired from the Army in 2013 after just shy of 30 years as a Logistician. BTW I just picked up a new P-09 over the Black Friday weekend, heading to the range with it either today or tomorrow. I'm getting either the 75D PCR or a Sig P229 next as a carry weapon. Finding either one of them in stock is turning out to be a real b*tch though!
Air Force Academy insignia actually. Congrats on the P-09! The PCRs are hard to find unfortunately and sell out quickly once they hit the states. The P229 would be a great choice as well. I have P228 that I love.
I'm going to shoot for a P-01 but right now during research I am having a *hard* time finding a light compatible holster for this thing. However I've heard of a rumor that 75 style holsters will work with this, can anyone expand on that?
lonnie roberts hi Lonnie just read your article on a holster for CZ 75 P01 fitting holster Sig 229 r is this Kydex I own a CZ 75 P01 & have been searching for Leather of Kydex Thanks Ed
I shoot my CZ-75 much more accurately than my P-07. I am guessing it's a combination of steel and barrel length. The CZ-75 is extremely comfortable, but I still like the P-07 too.
Have you ever experienced any firing pin issues on the P07? For the P01, have you ever noticed that it was more snappy than the P07 and did you ever have any decocker walking issues?
when talking about the price of the magazines, I think you made a mistake on which one was the better value according to what you said. The P-01 would be the better value.
Both shoot equally well, pretty much identical accuracy. The P-01 has a decocker standard and is left side only intended for a right handed shooter. The P-07 comes equipped with an ambi decocker but can be switched to an ambi safety as well. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Easy, look up Cajun Gun Works and get the 85 combat trigger for it. It's not as curved and smoother. You'll see the Defensive and Pro packages have it included.
CGW has two different 85C triggers. One is the current OEM 85C trigger from CZ. This one is the same "recurve" shape that you already have. The one you want is the "old style 85C trigger". This has a more gentle curve and is made in the USA of high quality stainless steel as a reproduction. You may have to hunt around on the CGW website to find it. I didn't know this at first and ordered the newer version. CGW was cool and exchanged it with no problems for the "old style" one, which is vastly superior in my opinion.
+MisterHolidayhouse Good catch, thanks for the clarification. I got the Defensive Package and got the correct one, so I didn't know they had another 85c version.
I bought a Tristar C100, but was tempted temporarily by a used P07, which had an overly heavy and gritty trigger, not near as smooth as the new C100 I ended up buying.
+Emil Smith Good choice. Yeah, I agree that it has to feel right. My wife has a P01 and we both love it. I like the P07 a lot, but I've heard and read/watched good reviews of the TP9.
Nice video comparison. I have the p 07 duty with the extended barrel and night sights, the cz 75 compact and the cz clone tanfoglio in .45. I have other pistols and in my opinion the cz 75 ergonomics are unrivaled. In my experience, I shoot the duty the best. Have you shot the 97?
Cantab Hiker Sorry, I missed this comment and didn't reply sooner. I used to own a 97 but have since sold it. I prefer the SAR K2-45 to the 97 I had. Higher capacity, slightly better accuracy (for me at least) and the grip didn't feel as bulky in my hands. The 97 was a fine pistol though.
+MrHolster Thank you sir. I have subscribed to you as well. CZs are definitely harder to find but I have noticed they are more abundant that just a few years ago and I think they are finally catching on with shooters :-)
Good video. Great comparison. I have a specific question, about grip angles... How do the two compare in that regard? I like a more 'natural' grip angle like on a 1911. I don't even mind the extreme opposite of a Glock, b/c that points well for me if I tilt me wrist down like pointing my finger. I'm struggling with a natural point of aim from my Sig 229 b/c it is in the middle. The grips of these two pistols look different. The back of the P07 is straight vs. the curve on the P01. Does one require you to tilt your wrist more forward? Thanks for any info!
I'm bit confused when you say in the long run it will get costly buying p 01 mags I thought you said that they were $25.00 and the p 07 were close to $ 40.00. Can you please clarify thank you.
Pookat106 I misspoke in the video. Magazines for the P-01 can be found for $25 on average while the P-07 will run around $40 so you would save over time with the P-01 if you go through a lot of magazines.
No. The P07 grips are more blocky like a Glock. The lack of finger groves is awesome and it fits most hands well but it's just more blocky. I have CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical and I know what the regular P01 feels like in hand as well. P07 is a great gun but not as ergo and nice feeling as a P01.
Just ordered a CZ-P09 off Cabelas website. Says it is backordered for 4-5 weeks. Had a $600 gift card I paid $450 for. Any one have experience with buying a backordered firearm?
Josiah Silas Michael go to buds gun shop or grab a gun website. They allow you to finance the gun. Pay like 80 a month or less and it’ll be paid in full in less than a year.
Great video, I'm set on getting a compact CZ just not sure exactly which one yet. Originally I was looking at the 75 D PCR Compact as its basically the same as the P-01 (just minus the rail) but the P-01 has a much larger number of holsters built for it. I have also been looking at the P-06 (the .40 cal version of P-01) but I can't decide on what caliber I want. Do you have nay experience/preferences with the P-06? I have heard rumors of P-06 not being as reliable as the P-01. Also, I know you mentioned it in another comment but could you post a full review of different holsters for the P-01? I'm looking for both an IWB and OWB and to use this as my daily CC. Not very many review videos on holsters for this gun. Thanks for your time to respond!
+Jared Schindler First, thanks for watching. I unfortunately do not shoot .40S&W at all so I don't have any experience with the P-06 and haven't really looked into them at all. As far as holsters go you are definitely right on the availability of holsters for the PCR as there are not many choices compared to the P-01. I am currently using an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck IWB for my P-01 and I get away with a CZ Compact shell for the PCR (lucky that it fits). I have a stealthgear IWB holster on order and will wear it for a while and try to make a video detailing my thoughts on them both. Probably won't be able to get you an OWB holster review anytime soon as I don't carry OWB at the moment.
how did you get a p-07 for under 400?! D: i got one the other day at academy sports and paid 479.00 plus 8.25% tax -_- not complaining too much though, i love the gun and really look forward to The Cz platform being in my future. Just glad they had it in Stock, i feel like these guns will come up in price over time. My PPS m2 and CZ keep me well protected from any evil that may endanger me, my family & my innocent American brothers and sisters.
I use greg cote for most of my mags. Seems to usually have the cheapest prices. www.gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=130&products_id=589
Cheaper than dirt or midway usa. Get the Mec Gar mags. They make the factory mags for CZ but their mags are cheaper. I just got some 19 round mags for my CZ 75 bd for $26 each.
Mine came with the decocker installed from the factory, so it was already in the gun. very strange that yours came with the safety installed. I would give CZ a call and I'm sure they will send you one.
Yeah i will Monday....just got it yesterday and thats what i always thought that the decocker was already installed cause i remember thinking how i wouldnt have to change it cause i like the decocker better...thx a lot! #thinking someone up there took it out the bag lol i got it from Academy...and yeah the safety came installed cause the parts bag sticker says decocker spare parts but no springs
The internal rails that the slide rides in do have metal inserts but they do not extend the full length of the slide. They are at key points on the rails (approximately 50% of the rail has metal inserts) and they do make the frame and rails very rigid.
Jose Cardenas Thanks, no failures of any kind with either of them. I have more rounds through the P-01 than the P-07 but I would definitely trust both with my life.
I love my p07! Have you done any mods to yours? What are your shooting impressions (recoil, accuracy, and so on)? And, have you seen the new p01 with the omega trigger system and what are your thoughts?
+Derrick Reed I haven't modded my P-07 at all as I got it mostly as a backup for concealed carry. I am getting ready to cajunize my P-09 though :-). I am pumped about the new P-01! I like the omega trigger system and I have always wanted a P-02 and this allows us that option with the ability to add a safety. I also like the enhanced sights and the straightened trigger. CZ looks to be introducing a lot of good stuff this year including the kadet kit for the P-07 which is a buy for me as well.
+Austin B Do the complete pro package on your P-09! It's fantastic. I absolutely love mine. Since installing it, I actually get better groups while shooting fast than I do when I shoot slowly and deliberately. Obviously I need to work on my technique but it just shows me that once I'm not over concentrating, the gun is capable of staying on target easily with rapid fire, and it wasn't before. I also have a CZ Custom SP-01 Accu Shadow and I shoot the P-09 equally or maybe even better. Go figure.. I'll be adding a Cajunized P-07 to my collection next. I have a RAMI B but am longing for something in between. Thanks for the video!
+MisterHolidayhouse I have been looking for someone in your position I'm really really torn between an sp01 and a p09 cajunized. I would really appreciate any input on feeling in hand, recoil, trigger feel, anything would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
+Derrick Reed it's tough. I think everyone will have different opinions, but I'll give you mine. The SP-01 Accu Shadow is an absolute dream to hold and and handle. (And just stare at) Everything just feels right. That said, while the P-09 feels a little funky in your hand to start (probably just the polymer) when you pick it up, but when you start shooting, it feels fantastic and natural. I am more accurate with it but I also have a lot more rounds through it. I am a recreational target shooter and am not into competition so there may be nuances between the two that I'm missing.. Obviously the Shadow has a little lighter trigger with zero over travel but it doesn't really add anything to the way I shoot. The P-09 has a little more creep before the break (after the CGW pro kit) but not enough to be noticeable while shooting. With the exception of the over travel, I honestly believe the CGW treatment on the omega trigger system rivals the work of CZ Custom. Plus I love the decocker.
+Derrick Reed to conclude my prior reply, I can't compare the SP-01 and the P-09 Cajunized directly because my SP-01 was done by CZ Custom. So far though, with CGW kits in my Omega system P-09 and my RAMI, I'd go as far as to say I firmly believe the CGW packages, along with a full polish, exceed what is offered out of the box by CZ Custom.
Austin, good review. So per the CZ website, the P-01 has a different mag? I like the Mag u have better, it fits flush. So is that mag in the website and yours interchangable? Is this just an extension mag for extra round or finger support? cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-01-9mm-black-alloy-14-rd-mags/ I like the flush clean look of the mag on the P01, but the P07 extra round is nice, but it does fit more flush than say a glock 19.
First, thanks for watching and I'm glad you liked the video. My P-01 did come with the mags shown on the website and while they don't offer an extra round they do provide more grip space for larger hands. In the video I have a compact CZ mag from Mecgar. I purchased a few of them from gregcotellc.com. I like them because as you stated, they fit flush with the bottom of the magwell and I don't need the extra space for my hand. Hope that helps!

Great choice Mike and very nice collection of CZs you have! Enjoy the new P-01 :-)
I still haven't lost interest, just needed to hear to the confidence that CZ owners have in owning one. Thanks again.
PROUD owner of a Pre B 75, 82, 83 and compact 75. Loving me some CZ.
The P-01 is a sexy gun. Looking to buy one but am looking for the Omega version in black. Hard to find.

Cz is not really known in the US? Really any person who claims to be a gun enthusiast and has never heard of cz they don't deserve to own a gun lol
Killabee-23 that's the point though. CZ is only known to gun enthusiasts. I’m a huge fan of cz and I find very few people that know about cz including gun people.

Thanks for the vid. Been going back and forth between these two guns. Helped a lot!
Glad it helped, can't go wrong with either!
Now I just got to choose between the 07 and sig sp2022 lol decisions decisions.
A2DuhBee I have a 2022 as well. It is also a great handgun although I definitely prefer the P-07 to the SP2022. I guess I could make a video comparing them if I get a chance this week :-)
Austin B that would be awsome if you could!!!!
I will definitely see if I can I get some time and get a video for you!

+Brian Knight Where have you checked in CF? I have seen them at Shoot straight in Apopka from time to time. If you live far call first.
Wish i could find a P07 for $370.
Nobody in my state has them and have to buy it online for $470. Thank god Buds gunshop does 90 day layaway lol
Ordered a cz p-01 yesterday. Currently own glocks 19 an xd mod 2 and a walther ppq. Looking for a hammer fired gun to carry and hope this will fit the bill. Never shot one but reliability is my main goal in any gun .

Informative video. CZ for life.
Thanks for watching!
I'm a new CZ fan and enjoy your videos. Any chance that you might put out a video comparing the CZ 75d PCR vs. the P-07?
Really good comparison video, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
+Lon Heim Glad it helped :-)
Nice review!
Also, I'm thinking about buying a CZ P-07.
I think it will be a good choice.
Thank you once again!
Thank you! I like all of them, haven't owned a CZ I haven't liked!
Great review! It was very helpful. I just order the po1. Cz's are really nice and reliable guns. Thanks for your review.
CZ's are excellent guns. My PCR is the perfect size for my hand and the weight keeps recoil under control.
Cz is awesome !!! Been shooting it for yrs. no jam!! Feels great in my hand... Price is reasonable.
Po7 is $510 best live I could find . Gone up $100 in a year. But 40 cal is cheaper , but you don't want to buy that.for some reason the 40 cal keeps having failures to eject or feed
Good video! I'm new to CZ's but quickly became a fan. I have a Tactical sport and a SP-01 Tactical. Pretty good start to my collection so far :)
Very nice! Congrats sir.
I have the P01 & will be grabbing up a P07/P09 soon. I'm really not digging the polymer's but may hafta dip into this as the gun needs nothing (albeit, maybe fiber optic sights). Time will tell. Good review on both of these CZ's.!!
+hANNAbONE Thank you for watching!
You may want to push out and inspect the roll pin that retains the firing pin. The firing pin can erode the roll pin and eventually jam under it.
Dude if you found a CZ P07 for 370 than you got a fuckin steal!
Where did you find the P07 for $370 ?
I got one a few weeks ago for $320, drove hour though a thunder storm after working a 14 hour shift for it, shot it last week , worth it all lol
Wow! That is a hell of a cheap price! My area if you can even find one they are 460-490
I just paid 380 for one
That's a deal!
Nice vid...i just pick up a cz p07 today haven't shot it yet but it sure feels good in my hand an it's a good looking firearm....
Thanks scotty, enjoy the new P07!
+Capt. Gus RH I've purchased 4 mags at gunbroker for 115. Just look around and you can find good bargains.
Both are awesome guns.
It's amazing that you are unaware that the P-01 can be bought with a manual safety!
The p07 and p09 trigger has a bit heavier trigger when you have the decocker in. i keep the decocker in but mine has a full CGW setup (i have the P09)
The p07 is a great weapon just think the p01 is more reliable and practical.
the p09 is shot from 25 meters
Bought the P01 Omega and P10S thinking I'd like them more, I'm more accurate with the pedestrian P07 Omega, go figure.
Sorry I meant does the 07 have a decocker?
Cz not well known in USA???? Anyways have both and they are both AWSOME!!!!!
nice video i just got the Po7....but really like that Po1...Good guns congrats!
Congrats on the P-07, great gun for sure!
Thx...
I'm going to shoot for a P-01 but right now during research I am having a *hard* time finding a light compatible holster for this thing. However I've heard of a rumor that 75 style holsters will work with this, can anyone expand on that?
Regarding holsters for CZ P01, most Sig 229r (rail) holsters work perfectly.
lonnie roberts hi Lonnie just read your article on a holster for CZ 75 P01 fitting holster Sig 229 r is this Kydex I own a CZ 75 P01 & have been searching for Leather of Kydex Thanks Ed
Excellent video . Hello from France
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your honesty.
The PCR also has no snag sights
How is the weight balance of the P-07? Having a polymer frame is it top heavy compared to the all metal P-01?
when talking about the price of the magazines, I think you made a mistake on which one was the better value according to what you said. The P-01 would be the better value.
Good presentation. I would like to know how each pistol shot, also does the 01 have a decocker or a safety, and are they ambidextrous.
Both shoot equally well, pretty much identical accuracy. The P-01 has a decocker standard and is left side only intended for a right handed shooter. The P-07 comes equipped with an ambi decocker but can be switched to an ambi safety as well. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
That curvy trigger on the 01 kills my finger. Blisters from rubbing. I wonder how hard it is to change.
I bought a Tristar C100, but was tempted temporarily by a used P07, which had an overly heavy and gritty trigger, not near as smooth as the new C100 I ended up buying.
are you in the US? if so where are you seeing the caniks and tristars for sale? i can't seem to find them
+Emil Smith Have the Caniks in NM, USA. Saw a TP9 a few weeks ago for approx. $349-$359.
+Throws Coach i ended up with the cz p09 for $510 and i love it. wish it wasn't so lkng but i love how it fits in my hand.
+Emil Smith Good choice. Yeah, I agree that it has to feel right. My wife has a P01 and we both love it. I like the P07 a lot, but I've heard and read/watched good reviews of the TP9.
Good comparison review.
Outstanding review
Nice guns, man they are hard to find near me. Subd. to your channel Pard.
The only pistol that fits my hand as well as the Cz is the browning hi power.
Love them both
I'm bit confused when you say in the long run it will get costly buying p 01 mags I thought you said that they were $25.00 and the p 07 were close to $ 40.00. Can you please clarify thank you.
Pookat106 I misspoke in the video. Magazines for the P-01 can be found for $25 on average while the P-07 will run around $40 so you would save over time with the P-01 if you go through a lot of magazines.
A far as ergonomics, does the P07 have the same feel in the hand as the traditional 75's? The grips look quite different.
Which pistol has the least felt recoil P-01 or P-07?
SOLD MY P01 AND GOT A P07. I LIKE THE P07 BETTER.
I wish CZ would put the P07 Sights on the P01 & PCR!
people have done it. it makes it impossible to cock the hammer tho
I’ve had both....the PO1 is the much better gun by far. I sold the P07
Great video, I love my p-07.
And Fast, Neat, Average.
‘00
They are both CZs. Enough said......
Just ordered a CZ-P09 off Cabelas website. Says it is backordered for 4-5 weeks. Had a $600 gift card I paid $450 for. Any one have experience with buying a backordered firearm?
EassaProductions have you got the gun yet?
jared lee they actually restocked a week after I ordered it. I just had to call them to ship it and take my gun off backorder status.
I have short fingers and my finger can barely get around the trigger on the p-01. Is the trigger to grip measurement on the 07 smaller than the 01?
Yes, it definitely is (with the small back strap in place).
P 01 , Worth the extra money
Im really sold on the P07 for my first gun but I'm poor
Josiah Silas Michael go to buds gun shop or grab a gun website. They allow you to finance the gun. Pay like 80 a month or less and it’ll be paid in full in less than a year.

Thanks for the tip
+Austin B Thanks for your quick response. I'll definitely be looking for that holster video when you post it.
How the hell do you bend your left thumb backwards at the second joint
It something like 50% of people can.
how did you get a p-07 for under 400?!
First responder discount ;)
ah, damn. Well thanks for the service. That's a hard job, Well deserved for a discount
did you buy it directly from CZ?
They’re well known now
Magazines compatibles?
I’ve been addicted to watching videos on RUclips on the cz p01. My wife won’t let me buy it though. 😢
Then she is your mom and not your wife.
@@spicecrop lololol married his mother!!
Where are you finding Mags for $25? I have both of these pistols, any suggestions for where to pick up good cheap mags?
I use greg cote for most of my mags. Seems to usually have the cheapest prices. www.gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=130&products_id=589
Cheaper than dirt or midway usa. Get the Mec Gar mags. They make the factory mags for CZ but their mags are cheaper. I just got some 19 round mags for my CZ 75 bd for $26 each.
Jason Dodson I can't find Mec-Gar mags for the P-07 nor the RAMI. I'd buy them if it wasn't $45/mag from CZ.
for some reason my po7 didn't come with the spring to change it to the decocker..did yours??
Mine came with the decocker installed from the factory, so it was already in the gun. very strange that yours came with the safety installed. I would give CZ a call and I'm sure they will send you one.
Yeah i will Monday....just got it yesterday and thats what i always thought that the decocker was already installed cause i remember thinking how i wouldnt have to change it cause i like the decocker better...thx a lot! #thinking someone up there took it out the bag lol i got it from Academy...and yeah the safety came installed cause the parts bag sticker says decocker spare parts but no springs
How are the rails on the p07 on the frame does it have metal inserts or are the polymer
The internal rails that the slide rides in do have metal inserts but they do not extend the full length of the slide. They are at key points on the rails (approximately 50% of the rail has metal inserts) and they do make the frame and rails very rigid.
Austin B awesome thanks for the reply I ordered the p09 Friday and was kind of worried about it
Not a problem. You will really enjoy the P09!
WHICH ONE IS MORE ACCURATE?
+Andrew Le No distinguishable difference in accuracy between the two. They are both combat accurate.
Nice video, nice guns, have you had any failures?
Jose Cardenas Thanks, no failures of any kind with either of them. I have more rounds through the P-01 than the P-07 but I would definitely trust both with my life.
Are both the same size when it comes to fitting in a gun holster?
Theresa Dolderer Both fit in my alien gear holster designed for the P07 but the P-01 is a little loose.
Where did you find the 07 for that cheap?
Are the magazines interchangeable on these two?
+88dirtdigger They are not. The P-07 magwell is wider than the P-01.
Any aftermarket mags for the 07?
filoIII Not that I know of.
So far though, with CGW kits in my Omega system P-09 and my RAMI, I'd go as far as to say I firmly believe the CGW packages, along with a full polish, exceed what is offered out of the box by CZ Custom.
great job, thanks!
Austin, good review. So per the CZ website, the P-01 has a different mag? I like the Mag u have better, it fits flush. So is that mag in the website and yours interchangable? Is this just an extension mag for extra round or finger support?
cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-01-9mm-black-alloy-14-rd-mags/
I like the flush clean look of the mag on the P01, but the P07 extra round is nice, but it does fit more flush than say a glock 19.
Where did you find the P01 ?
