When you thought you’ve seen everything and then, BAM!!! A $10,000 goose 🙈🤷♂️🤣🤣🇺🇸 And if you like $10,000 gooses (I know, it’s geese), then smash that like button!
Vince I’m all in on Metabo HPT. The triple hammer and the 10” Multivolt miter saw are my favorite by far. If you haven’t tried the miter saw, do it. Add the A/C adapter when you need to or battery to just do a day job. My next will be the Multivolt table saw. All of my main tools are Metabo HPT.
I have the Metabo 12” Miter and it’s shweet. Five triple hammers, 8 hammer drills, and an angle grinder. Plenty of MultiVolt batteries to boot and 5 AC adapters. I’m keep wanting to put my dough into Metabo.
I own Metabo equipment, the multivolt platfom. I even have the AC adapter for the multivolt. It's about time someone gave the Metabo the credit they deserve. I have the I have the triple hammer impact, the 1/2 inch impact (1200 ft/lbs torque). GREAT STUFF. The Rodney Dangerfield of tools. They are great stuff.
I have gone from makita 18v toward hikoki the last month or so. Started with a hikoki framer/16ga brad gun. Then got the 36v drill/impact driver/36v recip. I love them. Very satisfying to use
I bought into the platform based on your reviews and I love this brand. I started with the 36v impact...then got the 36v recip saw which is a beast, recently picked up the 36v circular saw which is great. Lowes has a deal right now if you buy the charger and battery for $199.99 they give you the 36v recip saw for free. Thought that was an awesome deal. And that's about $15,000 worth of osb here in So Cal.
I’m a commercial plumber that started with Hitachi Triple Hammer impact and now I have the entire lineup almost. SDS plus, impact wrenches, drivers, hammer drills, recip saw, work lights, grinder, osc tool, 3 1/4” band saw..I can’t say enough about Metabo HPT (formerly Hitachi.) All the guys love them when they use them and I’ve never seen anyone invested in the brand like I am. I’ve seen a couple chop saws and nailers on jobs that were hitachi/metabo, however. No complaints from me and I won’t be switching until I get free tools or paid to use another brand. I would like some rafter hooks on more tools like the circ saw and band saw, but I added my own on the band saw and it looks quite nice. Would really love to try the new big band sooner than later. Thanks for looking out for this brand that gets little attention. Metabo can hang with the best of them. Would like to see a head to head of this subcompact recip vs red, yellow, etc.
I’ve just got a couple of nailers from metabo hpt, this is now a secondary platform as my main platform is Bosch, but I think I’ll also be adding this, an impact and the cordless router. Very impressed so far
What tools are best? Definitly theres teipple hammer its great for light work like h vac metal work, light carpentery work and finish work, electrical work , there drill are damn good. And there impact wrenches are soooooooooo good. And they are ip56 rated so if your a mechanic you can spill any liquid you want on it with it affecting it ST ALL. This brand is so underated its unreal. They just need to .ake there batteries cheaper. There chargers are on another level aswell they are fan cooled and charge very fast.
Hey man I've been watching your videos for ever since I got out of jail lol 😂 2 Year's ago I don't know if you remember me all the time I kept thinking about is your videos man glad to be back keep it up man love you guys
I 💚 Metabo tools. They’re awesome tools and their customers service and warranty is customer centric and they have great promotions. Innovative tools that are comfortable and ergonomic. I am a cult follower.
Have recently purchased the metabo hpt platform. Was the best value proposition at the time. I'm a finish carpenter by trade and their cordless nailers, rear handle circular saw, and their grinders are top notch in my opinion. 36V batteries last all day.
I am balls deep in the Dewalt platform, but have been expanding to Metabo. Also, their pneumatic framing nailer is stellar, and their 6 gallon pancake air compressor might be the best deal out there.
I live in China, we don't have Metabo HPT, but we've got Hikoki (same thing, different name). I have been using their 12 volt drill driver for about a year now and I actually find myself going to that more than my Milwaukee Fuel 18 volt hammer drill and my Milwaukee impact driver. I'm one of those guys who's cheap and likes to recycle screws for DIY projects, so it's nice to have a light weight, low torque drill driver for delicate DIY work. I've also used Metabo HPT/Hikoki's predecessor Hitachi over the years and in my experience with them, they're good tools.
All about timing and location. When I got my battery platform I was at big orange not blue and the sale was good on red fuel for what I needed. No regrets there at all
Hi Vince, Yup, a $10,000.00 - 3/4 OSB plywood 🤣.. I do like that adjustable blade guard. Man, Milwaukee left that out. Thanks for the video. Michael C - (WA)
The Metabohpt stuff is nice. Really been wanting to get some. Wish they would put a better battery indicator for the 18v. That would just make the that much more sweet.
They were resetting the store displays to make room for Flex, and they reduced the number of Bosch and Metabo HPT tools they stock in-store. So... lots of clearance deals!
Man Vince am I glad you made this video I feel a whole lot better about getting that bogo deal at Lowes now. BTW the drill and the driver are nice also.
I just bought their 5 tool combo kit for $350 a month ago. I’m pretty sold on it. 18v Drill, Impact, Full size recip saw, and flashlight and 36v circ saw which is a beast. Great battery life also. Did have to get an 4.0/8.0 battery to power the circ saw but everyone loves it at work.
They are great tools. I think of them similar to Makita. I don't personally have any because I am in the TTI lines, but i've tempted on many sales and probably will at some point. Even if I don't "need" them i'd like to have some offerings from them. The Powermaxx multi-head 12v is pretty sick looking.
I bought into the MetaboHPT line recently. I got the 7-Piece Brushless Kit from Lowe’s for $280. I thought it was a steal, and it was! I love everything so far!
I’ve mainly been a home depot guy but metabo is drawing my attention started with the jobsite table saw I got for $329 and where Milwaukee and dewault make small cordless table saw metabo make there the same size as there normal jobsite saw and speaking of woodworking the rail system on miter saws is better for a shop cause you can put it closer to the wall not to mention it has amazing dust collection and they just released 1/2 router in there multi volt so ya I’ve been thinking of getting more metabo HPt
I dont own any battery stuff but I have some nail guns and I just got the corded circular saw off of amazon, with the tool bag. It was a good buy for $60
In UK we have Hikoki and Metabo as separate companies. I have both the nail gun and miter saw, usually I go for makita, but can't fault the hikoki tools.
I have 3 metabo rebar benders. One corded and the new cordless version. I also have the 36v hammerdrill. Absolutely wicked drill. I swear by metabo ....great tools
Metabo HPT is great man!! I git their miter saw!!! i even had a hitachi tv for like 10 years when they were 50 in tv with the speakers on them when tvs were huge!!
I have lots of metabo hpt powertools my favorites are the 36v grinder and the new subcompact drill it feels like something from startreck cr8zy small and light with so much power
I stuck with one cordless platform because you can't interchange batteries and chargers don't want a bunch of different batteries and chargers. So I'm going to stick with my old yeller cordless tools till they start to make batteries interchangeable with other tool platforms of cordless tools.
Just started to get some of their stuff. Nailesr are great, Rear handled circular saw is great. Reciprocal is crazy, like if even over my Milwaukee cordless, weight is less with power still there. I run XGT Makita stuff alot, but had to get some of these with the promos and prices now. TTI can't have it all. Lol
I love my Metabo HPT table saw, just got a corded drill from them on Prime Day as well. I'm not on their cordless tool line up because right after we bought out house and before I got the table saw we went to Home Depot and I ended up with a Ryobi kit.
i have alot of metabo (hpt) also have th egerman metabo but the hpt ohh my god amazing ive tested them against german metabo and makita and i prefer them over i have the impact i used it alot thru heavy construction and it survived i would recommend anything from metabo
Ive been skeptical of metabo....but after that video....Awesome....the jig saw feature was pretty epic....A recip that can handle jigsaw operations.....MOND BLOWN....
Love the Hitachi/Metabo. On the one hand saw I think it is interesting that the Metabo HPT, the German Metabo, and the Milwaukee version seem to be very similar in design. I wonder if Tectonics built all three versions for the Roberts Group and TTI of Hong Kong. I personally use the German Metabo version and the Milwaukee 12V version on the daily for a number of years. There money makers.
Makes me kind of regret getting into the newer Makita line and not Metabo. I have the Makita equivalent and it blows. I like the backwards compatibility, the ability to plug up,lifetime battery warranty and water resistant.
Recently got the framing nailer and loved it. So I picked up a combo set circ saw, recip, two drills and a light and batteries on a great deal from big blue. I'm invested in makita 18v and been waiting for more 40v tools but they are wayyy pricier. Metabo hpt 36v much more reasonably priced at the same build quality, and they have a table saw!!! Thats on Santa's list this year.
I am on the milwaukee platform but I picked up the corded 4 1/2" angle grinder for $40 last year. While I save money for the fuel flathead grinder I want.
This little saw is definitely a winner for rough in work. I use jig saw blades in this thing more than recip blades! If this saw isn't power enough for the cut you're doing, the big 36v saw is an absolute monster!
I'm getting into woodworking and I'm trying to build up my tool collection and deciding on a brand to invest in because Hercules definitely ain't going to cut it. I definitely don't have much of a budget but I'd rather buy quality tools once and have to buy crappy stuff twice. I have some DeWalt tools that were given to me and I really don't have any complaints about them it's just I couldn't really go with the wall as a platform because just because it's DeWalt it cost twice as much as anything else. And Japanese is always had a really good reputation and I've always had a good experience with Japanese products but when I was looking into buying Japanese Makita I learned about metabo and thought they sounded like a crappy knockoff brand but after looking into it I'm probably going to go with this brand
The adjustable shoe is a very nice addition. But the saw itself seems pretty slow for an 18V recip, doesn't seem to ne more powerful than my Milwaukee M12 Fuel Hackzal.
I would love to see a one-handed recip saw contest with all these new fancy brushless lineups. You could even do a one-handed vs regular recip saw showdown to show the difference. For now, all I have is a M18 Fuel Hackzall and no reference to know if I'm missing out.
I see loch Ness monster lol and I bought the 3 piece 2 battery kit and this tool was my least favorite it does awesome on thinner applications plywood, cutting tops out of steel barrels etc. But it seems to struggle with anything like 2×4, or thick metal. I think the half inch stroke really limited what this tool could have been, in certain applications it is great but I just got into metabo hpt, and I'm hoping I don't end up disappointed. I wanted something other than Milwaukee and I have used old Hitachi in the past and they seemed reliable at a good price point.
Vince, the psych ward is on their way over u seeing that goose, and also for thinking I would give up my Milwaukee tools for them tools I've invested way too much money on the m12 platform I need power in tight areas and I find the only one that can come close is my m12 especially my 3" cut off I love it
I was looking at the Metabo miter saw haven't used any of the tools haven't seen anyone with any of these tools but like their miter saw with two rails along the side of the unit so you're able to put it up against the wall if you have to. But companies are being killed by the battery platforms because you have to be willing to change battery platforms if you going to change tool companies because that's what's going to cost you the most and the end. 😎🇺🇸👍
I still have a Hitachi corded 7 1 quarter circular. 15 years at least. As gar as metabo most all the welders that watch you will be familiar with them. I have several metabo corded grinders and had all ready started in on the m18 fuels before i knew they had merged. Or would have strongly entertained the idea. Also. I have the 4 1 half inch m18 grinder. It is not a fuel. And the nut backed off while finishing a control joint cut in concrete and the wheel come off. It was damm near stopped when it did but dammm. Im a union welder been using grinders many years never had that happen.
Today I got was scrolling through RUclips videos usually you'll find something related to your Channel but haven't been able to find it it's a 4-way universal battery charger and charges all four batteries at the same time but I believe it said Universal for all batteries. Have you heard anything about a universal battery charger for multiple battery platforms to charge 4 batteries at the same time because that would be nice.
I'm looking into several lines cuz my tools are old...and I mean old.. The battery system is non existent. And looking for that middle/prosumer ish grade. This line seems strong. But I gotta wait and see.
When you thought you’ve seen everything and then, BAM!!! A $10,000 goose 🙈🤷♂️🤣🤣🇺🇸
And if you like $10,000 gooses (I know, it’s geese), then smash that like button!
Awesome Rob!
Nah, thats not a goose, thats well figured lady bent over on her knees😂😂

3:39 "This is 10,000 dollars worth of OSB" got me cracking up 🤣🤣

If you got guns like Vince, all saws are one-handed.
The GIANT Mafell ones for framework 😂

I have been rocking the hitachi lithium since the beginning. Have metabo as well. Never had a tool fail doing commercial HVAC.

I’m into Metabo HPT especially the 36V line, you should see the new chest cooler/heater, I can’t wait to get it.
All about timing and location. When I got my battery platform I was at big orange not blue and the sale was good on red fuel for what I needed. No regrets there at all
Just bought a small jobsite metabo compressor, first tool I’ve bought from them and I like it so far 👍
The Tank?
Hi Vince,
Yup, a $10,000.00 - 3/4 OSB plywood 🤣..
I do like that adjustable blade guard. Man, Milwaukee left that out.
Thanks for the video.
Michael C - (WA)
I like them. The only reason I haven't bought one is because I have Milwaukee M18 tools and don't want to purchase different batteries.
That's 99% of us actually. Staying with the same brand because of the batteries/chargers
I have the 18v 1/4 inch triple hammer and the 36 v worm drive. And they blow dewalt out of the water
i own every Metabo HPT 18v and 36v tool, i also run all Bosch Biturbo. I couldn't be happier. rock solid. Hikoki and Bosch!!
Correct me if I'm wrong... but didn't the Milwaukee super sawzall make quick work out of the I beam?
The Metabohpt stuff is nice. Really been wanting to get some. Wish they would put a better battery indicator for the 18v. That would just make the that much more sweet.
Thanks for the feedback Ronnie!
For the metal cutting, would a little lube during the cut help?
Recently got me a Metabo impact and drill for $49 each at lowes. Not sure why they were so cheap. Had to get them, could not let the deal pass by.
Thats what i say about all my tool.purchases, even at full price
They were resetting the store displays to make room for Flex, and they reduced the number of Bosch and Metabo HPT tools they stock in-store. So... lots of clearance deals!
Man Vince am I glad you made this video I feel a whole lot better about getting that bogo deal at Lowes now. BTW the drill and the driver are nice also.
The adjustable shoe is a nice feature for sure..thanks for sharing 😎😎
5:20 Hmmm... either that I-beam got a lot stronger since the last time we saw you cut it OR this saw is not making the proverbial cut.
I am jumping over to Metabo HTP from Ryobi. I'm keeping my lesser used tools, blower, and trimmer over on Ryobi.
They are great tools. I think of them similar to Makita. I don't personally have any because I am in the TTI lines, but i've tempted on many sales and probably will at some point. Even if I don't "need" them i'd like to have some offerings from them. The Powermaxx multi-head 12v is pretty sick looking.

Love the shirt, Vince! Wearing mine today too! Great info as always!! 👊🏻👊🏻
sick duck !!
@@kingofthecrease30 My Man! The 👑 👊🏻
Thanks Sick Duck!
I dont own any battery stuff but I have some nail guns and I just got the corded circular saw off of amazon, with the tool bag. It was a good buy for $60
The new Plunge 36v router is a beast as well @Vcgconstruction
@vcgconstruction have you tried the skil 12v one handed reciprocating saw? I dont see a video and I'd really like to know what you think if it.
Could you do a video comparing Metabo's recip saw to Milwaukee's one handed recip saw, and dewalts compact two handed recip saw
Still take my Milwaukee over that every day all day!! Hacksaw is badass and a puppy laying on his stomach if you take the goose face as a tail!!
Yeah, I very rarely come across a job that my little hackzall can't do just as well as even a full-size recip.
I'm all Milwaukee as well. But I like Metabo. Their corded angle grinders are second to none and that says alot in the competition...
Why doesn't that 18 v saw cut faster than my M12 Milwaukee??
Metabo HPT is great man!! I git their miter saw!!! i even had a hitachi tv for like 10 years when they were 50 in tv with the speakers on them when tvs were huge!!
THE GOOSE! I SMASHED that like button! LOL. For real, using a t-shank jigsaw blade on the recip saw is sweet!
I have lots of metabo hpt powertools my favorites are the 36v grinder and the new subcompact drill it feels like something from startreck cr8zy small and light with so much power
I have the grinder as well but 18v and it is still a beast !
Me: you could probably use that like a jigsaw
*Vince 5 seconds later: you can use it as a rough cut jigsaw
lol
Love my Hitachi I got in on the Ole big battery and I love the Brad nailer
I like their cordless grinder the most, it is just extremely powerfull and doesn’t cut out vers often
I bet that would be pretty good for coping might not need a Collins coping foot
i have alot of metabo (hpt) also have th egerman metabo but the hpt ohh my god amazing ive tested them against german metabo and makita and i prefer them over i have the impact i used it alot thru heavy construction and it survived i would recommend anything from metabo
I’m on the platform my favorite is the 7 1/4 36v top Handel circular saw
I think the stroke length is to short at 1/2 inch for cutting metal think it excellent for wood @vcgconstruction
Ive been skeptical of metabo....but after that video....Awesome....the jig saw feature was pretty epic....A recip that can handle jigsaw operations.....MOND BLOWN....
Is it T-shank blades though?
Considered the HPT line, but just made the Makita 40V plunge instead. Love Metabo corded 6" grinders as a I have few.
Love my Metabo 18V framing nailer, saved me lots of time.
I love them I have ten tools and ten batteries some of the same but in 18v and 36v
That’s a good question
Makes me kind of regret getting into the newer Makita line and not Metabo. I have the Makita equivalent and it blows. I like the backwards compatibility, the ability to plug up,lifetime battery warranty and water resistant.
Have you tried any Milwaukee to metabo battery adapters on the market? Could be the best of both worlds assuming something doesn't burn out
I love and use metabo hpt everyday, that have great tools. I have the framer it’s great with all the other thud they’ve been dropping 18v and 36v.
Sorry. My English is not good. Is Metabo/Hikoki good tools or no? Is milwaukee or Makita better and superior
What have you dumped Millwaukee .?
This little saw is definitely a winner for rough in work. I use jig saw blades in this thing more than recip blades!
If this saw isn't power enough for the cut you're doing, the big 36v saw is an absolute monster!
This just arrived today, awesome it takes jigsaw blades! Should be great for hvac rough In work.
I’m not on the HPT platform because I have desalt, Milwaukee already. I would have to get more batteries from the HPT.
Damn I almost bought this at Lowes this morning on the buy a battery get a tool deal. Might have to go back in the morning.
I'm getting into woodworking and I'm trying to build up my tool collection and deciding on a brand to invest in because Hercules definitely ain't going to cut it. Metabo hpt is underrated. Triple hammer is my favorite
Thanks for sacrificing $10,000 of OSB just for us!! As always great job.
Got one of these for free today at lowes for buying the drill driver combo. Sweet deal.
Vince, the psych ward is on their way over u seeing that goose, and also for thinking I would give up my Milwaukee tools for them tools I've invested way too much money on the m12 platform I need power in tight areas and I find the only one that can come close is my m12 especially my 3" cut off I love it
Love your video's.
Just quick thing I think that you normal cut in the way we're the light is. That you see were to cut. I think.🤭
The next feature should be auto adjustable orbital setting , you and I struggle with the bounce on the OSB
The intro music was *funky*.
“this is $10,000 worth of 3/4 OSB..”
proceeds with the cut😂 hey let me get that rip i wanna frame it
🤣
I got "Goose" bumps
Go Vince!
🤣🤣 I see what you did there Redd!
Vince, What is the part number for the saw?
CR18DAQ4
Today I got was scrolling through RUclips videos usually you'll find something related to your Channel but haven't been able to find it it's a 4-way universal battery charger and charges all four batteries at the same time but I believe it said Universal for all batteries. Have you heard anything about a universal battery charger for multiple battery platforms to charge 4 batteries at the same time because that would be nice.
I'm looking into several lines cuz my tools are old...and I mean old..
The battery system is non existent. And looking for that middle/prosumer ish grade. This line seems strong. But I gotta wait and see.
Is that shoe adjustable? The dewalt atomic is my favorite 1 hand saw
