@@DoNoise That wonderful digital delay remind me a bit the "Adventure Audio - Again delay" with same kind of sound (more filthy maybe) The "Again delay" is imao a master piece of digidelay which sounds really analog'ish and has it's own character :)
How does this compare to the Dr. Scientist Sunny Day? I am vibing with this demo more but, even though I am closely comparing your demos, I can't tell if it's the pedal that makes the difference. Both are great demos by the way.
Thanks! Without just playing with them side by side I feel like MBD has a bit grittier sound and Sunny Day has a bit warmer sound. MBD can get noisier and whackier with the modulation. The modulation on SDD is more on the “regular” range in comparison (although it has a trimpot inside to increase the modulation range). They can sound very similar in some settings but my impressions are that you can get more shades of dirty delay with MBD and more shades of warmer delay with SDD. The way the momentary switch works might also be a deciding factor. I’m not sure if this is helpful but that’s all I got.
Such a fantastic demo!
Delicious sound degradation... Love it !
Great demo thanks !
Agreed! It’s so interesting how those noisy repeats actually add so much to the sound.
