It's filling out well Colin! I agree that you can't go a day without using beard oil...I use your beard soap in the shower in the morning, then when the beard is about 90% dry, apply the beard oil in to the skin and scalp. Now that my beard is quite long, I prefer the beard butter for slight hold but it just feels a lot better that balm which I always felt was a bit too hard. Definitely the beard soap, oil and then butter leaves the beard super soft. And to anyone who hasn't tried West Cork Beard Company products...I have tried a LOT over the years and Colin are by far the best. Keep 'er lit!
Thank you Brian! What you're doing is exactly what I do and I agree about the balm vs butter in longer beards. I feel the same...after a certain length the butter gives just the right amount of hold and feels light in the beard. Really appreciate the comment!
The beard looks great at that length, Colin 👍. I totally agree with your points about maintaining the neckline and moustache, cheek areas. I work in an office myself and it's important not to look scruffy. I'm just going to go and apply some beard butter now, you inspired me with the video 🤣
Fair play! 😄 Loving the butter at nighttime so I hope you enjoy it. And yes, a beard can look good through the phases and doesn't have to be scruffy in any way if tended to properly
Just received your products ( Cinnamon Bark and Black Pepper Beard Oil , Cedarwood and Siberian Fir Beard Balm & Beard brush ) I have to say the products are amazing..and wrapped nicely too! The oil bottle is so much larger than other brands ( the oil is great too) and the balm is much harder than other brands making it loads better & longer lasting...the fragrance of both are really nice & fresh. I will be ordering more in the coming months...Thanks
Do you know, I was half expecting you to be back to normal now. ;-) Looking sharp Colin, seriously, and I have to envy that even growth. Butter does seem to be the right thing for me now that the beard has a fair bit of length on it ... suave is asking a bit much but I can manage civilised.
My growth is strong but not that strong! 😂 Delighted that it's filling in nicely and loving the small bit of beard butter...really missed putting it on this last four weeks. I'm sure your beard is looking a lot better than you're giving it credit for!
Have you trimmed your beard during those months? If not maybe you have a lot of split ends and that stops your beard from growing or slowing it down a lot? On which month are you on now?
From my experience I don't think your beard ever stops growing but definitely as it gets longer the growth gets less noticeable. I would continue to do your beard care routine as well as lots of water, exercise, sleep etc Your beard is more than likely getting thicker and filling in rather than looking longer and that's needed too. It all goes back to an infinite amount of patience throughout the whole process 👍🏾
That beard length really does suit you! it's coming on quite well! :D Ready to see week 6! :D guna be attacking mine in couple weeks be first time in 12weeks proper touch it haha!
Awesome beard my bearded brother. I can grow a full beard. mine grow just like yours & my bread grows down my neck as well. Should I shave that? I'm going for the yeard! My beard is 2+ months & it's thick already! My beard grows half way down my neck, should I shave that? 🤔
Thank you! Yes I would shave your neck...just where the neck meets the head. I explain it in the Week one video if you haven't already seen that 👍🏾 Best of luck with the yeard!
Another great video Colin! Really good tips and advice. Loving the beard oils and butter. Also excited to try the new soap in the coming days!
Thanks Damien! The beard soap is very popular so I'll be making lots of new batches this week 💪🏾
