Kendrick is the pure embodiment of rap -- dedication to his writing, his flows, the way he spits, the choreography and visuals to go with his words, his stage presence and vocal performance. And he's always been this way. You just know he lives and breathes hip hop. It's the thing he was born to do. You'll never find him posted up like other rappers doing a show as if it's a live listening party and they're just standing their karaoke-ing their own songs with the backing track doing most of the work.
Even with just these snippets, it's clear that Kendrick Lamar is just as intentional about stagecraft as he is about the music. Thanks for all of these great videos you put out.
I kinda want Kendrick to dropped his next album as a final album go on tour then become a broadway producer where he bring each of his albums to life and curate future creative like himself . I really love him
I've now seen Kendrick 3 times (Barclays for the steppers tour, last camp flog, and for the pop out shit amazes me everytime had a out of body when he preformed ADHD and this from someone who despite being a music junkie my whole life felt concerts were a tad bit to much but with a performer at his level its a must. Having seen the on stage performance makes Mr.Morale such a better album to me.
Anthony, Mr Aiken if I may. I juss want you to know you've knocked it out of tha park with every single video even those unconnected to the analytical ones. That Taylor Swift tailgate video opened my eyes. Now it didn't open my eyes to tha evils of tha world but so long as their open dats all dat matter right. And I juss want you to know anytime I start rapping to tha people your one of my inspirations inspiring me in real time. I appreciate you 🙌🏿
Tell me about it! I said the same thing about the cost of my ticket! The concert was otherworldly 😮 MMATBS was art in motion. And anyone who called that album 💿 mid or trash missed out on a moment..
Great video.. I have to look up all of the visuals because the daggers in his back gave me the 10 of swords in tarot. It’s the same meaning too… you’ll know something is finished when you see that card. 💞💞💞💞
5:16 there werent that many notes to play. Why would his hands be moving all over the place? Plus he wrote in his ig or maybe it was an interview idr… but he said something about being obsessed eith instruments so im assuming he learned piano. He’s probably not a virtuoso but the piano lines he wrote arent that complex
Most MCs arent good performers. Pac and Dot are different. Travis, Wyclef, Lauryn best performances are from non traditional hiphop songs. Some OG said hiphop want made for big stage
@@KaylaMarieQ oh sorry i was walking listening to this in the rain and put the phone in my pocket after reading comments, so my phone was doing its own thing there! 😅🙈 I agree with what you wrote tho! 🫡
Kendrick was absolutely not playing the piano for Crown or United in Grief. maybe he did learn the repeating chord for HUMBLE., but absolutely not the other songs. thats the corniest shtick he's ever done, but it's so minor that i forgive him for it lol
@@TMan10103 sure, but he is faking playing the piano. i bet my entire house on that. i think ive seen people say he adjusts his earpiece in Crown in a video but i havent gone to check. also, even when you watch it on Prime, the way they shot United in Grief and Crown is very.... creative, to say the least. no one playing the piano will be shot from the direct back, or in tight close ups like that, precisely because you would want to showcase them playing the keys. thats been the way since Dussek or Liszt first turned the piano in a right angle towards the audience to display both the pianist and the instrument to the audience. Kendrick is definitely not playing the piano
Those chords really are not that hard man, you don't have to even be a piano player necessarily to just practise specific songs and be able to play them
THA GREATEST RUclipsR UNDER 100K SUBS ANTHONY AIKEN JR 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Kendrick’s performance is on another level. This man performed for over 1 hour without backup at the Pop Out show
And didn't take a sip of water lol 🤣
Or break a sweat 😓
@@theloner717yes he did sweat he is human and I see how he stuck with keeping all those clothes on
Me and my wife went to his steppers show out here in Vegas.. Family Ties had the arena jumpin jumpin
If you tell your truths, no one can say anything about you.

The Big Steppers tour is on Prime :)
@@AllTheArtsy Awesome. Thanks for the information. I can't wait to check it out.
The Mr. Morale concert on Prime is AMAZING! I wish I had the funds to see that tour live
Watched it on Amazon. Damn good and underrated show
Kendrick doing count me out with the daggers is what he is dealing with now with the Super Bowl.
I kinda want Kendrick to dropped his next album as a final album go on tour then become a broadway producer where he bring each of his albums to life and curate future creative like himself . I really love him
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers album and performance 💎💎
Yes I saw him in 2022 and I will never forget that concert
Kendrick’s organized performances such as Grammys 2016 & Jimmy Fallon to name a few are of a whole other level also…
💯 💯 💯
Loving these videos man!! Huge fan!!
My brother!! Big fan of your channel too 🙌🏾
I have a greater appreciation for Kendrick Lamar. I'm happy I've been enlightened. Thanks for sharing.

Love your content style. I hope you get the recognition you deserve.
This is such a great review! I saw him at a festival in Atlanta last year, after this tour. ❤

2:59 I want people to find this video in a year's time when Antony has a million subs saying "really, he only had 60k back then?"
Great video 10/10

I went to the show in Philly and it’s cool to watch this video to sort of relive the experience. It was such a good concert!

Where did you get this piano performance of Count Me Out? It’s gorgeous!!
His dancing is very masculine and appropriate! I don’t care for the outfits but I ❤his performance. I go through so many emotions as I listen to him.

😂😂😂😂 why do u think he’d play humble and nothing else? Homie can actually play piano amongst other instruments so idk where u got that from
