What a shame that these Uniforms only live on in RE-Enactment Groups. The Nazi Uniforms were so Regal, Majestic, Elegant, Stylish, so much ahead of their time. I am just referring to the sheer beauty of the uniform and not for what the regime perpetrated during the war. I saw a gentleman who was dressed in a Luftwaffe Uniform. He had the shiny Officers Boots with Spurs. The Luftwaffe Breeches and Overcoat with Insignia. He had a simple white shirt and cufflinks with a white scarf on. He was tall and everyone he passed thought he was a movie star. The way he had the Overcoat draped over his shoulders. WOW. That is how dashing a figure he presented in that Uniform. He styled it just right. Not too much Insignia. Just enough to convey a Luftwaffe FieldMarshalls Swagger. And Damn did the German Uniforms have that. A ton of SWAGGER... And for those who can't understand timeless classics, I leave you with this... " Don't Hate The Player, Hate The Game...

Just get yourself a pair of riding boots. In America and Canada the are rather cheap! I can't wear theme, the dorsa of my feet are too high. So for horseback riding I have to wear jodhpur boots. Cowboy boots and stirrups---for me that ain't a good combination, 'cause in case of emergency you got to get your feet out of the stirrups as quickly as possible. Horseback riding is fun, no question about that. But I mean, it's even more dangerous than riding a motorbike...
I thought, he had wanted officers' boots. The German "Knobelbechers" aren't knee high ...
Knee-high boots do keep your legs warmer, but the Afrika Korp didn't wear them in HOT🔥desert Africa, did they? Whatever they wore, it is very irritating if you get sand in your shoes.

I'm a re-enactor, I focus on early war 1939 and Afrika Korps. I love my Wehrmacht Soldats kit, it's such a nice shade of green, and it's still stylish and formidable looking after so many decades.
Wehrmacht uniforms and Napoleonic era uniforms were some of the best looking IMO.

@clashaidydreams this Uniform wasn't a Battlefront Unifrom, it was sorted out before the war started because french Soldiers had blue Uniforms, too and also the Grey Unifroms were a little cheaper to produce...

2. Hiroshima was a military industrial center.
3. Japan was prepared for a massive last stand, they had predicted the US invasion plans correctly and were prepared to destroy an invasion force.

although i live in america i am full asian i take a huge interest in germany and in their history, i may despise what the germans did but i do not despise the germans themselves, hey, it was a job and someone had to do it, for all i know we're all alike, we just fight for a different side. germany is good, but its army is great, some of the best trained and extremely organized, and they never gave up, they always fought hard until the end.God bless germany and all other nations brothers in arms

As a fourth generation Alsatian-American from the area around Strasbourg on the Rhine river dividing France and Germany, I'd look right in any one of these. My paternal grandpa was shocked when Germany went to war again just 19 yrs. after the 1918 armistice. I met a German vet near Frankfurt, W. Germany 50 yrs. ago as a GI stationed at a chopper base, He was over 65 and survived both world wars, 4 yrs. 1914-18 and again, 6 yrs. 1939-45. 10 yrs. in uniforms.

I'm not saying we should impose our culture on everyone, and I never said Germany was evil. I do support helping countries that do want help, but in a way that doesn't have to involve the military every time. If we could do the same thing for some of those countries like we did in Japan after World War II (help them build their nation), it will help millions of people enjoy a higher standard of living.

I do want to ease suffering in the US; that's why I want to reform our education, political, and immigration policy to be more fair to everyone and not force kids to go to school for all the same things. Instead of having everyone try to go to college, we should also offer them classes to try their hand at different careers and go to a trade school to become really good at a career they enjoy.

@mwillblade they had but the german general who was in charge of the eastern front was afraid to tell hitler he could not take russia before the winter... therefore no winter uniforms where sent untill it where too late or the supply lines where cut off...
I'm not discarding anything in their overall philosophy, but the world is a lot more connected now than it was then. Just because they were wrong about one thing doesn't mean the were wrong about everything, and even they didn't stay out of foreign affairs.

This is one thing I first noticed about the Germans they had some sharp looking uniforms those black dress uniforms off the chain, and the long leather trench coats who wouldn't want one, who ever was in charge of design had a good eye for fashion

World War II German army uniform is the very cool
I do want to stop violence in the US as well, but I also think we can help other countries not tear themselves apart every time they have an election. We will never completely stop violence everywhere, not even in the US, but we can get it down to a bare minimum. We need to reconcile with the fact that the world the Founding Fathers lived in was a different one from the world we live in. We can't just ignore other people's suffering, and because being kinder to each other is everyone's problem.

I lived in ansbach from 1998 to 2001 in from Georgia USA my grandfather was of German stock ,Blocker is the name, im so ashamed of my gonvernment, but I love my people , black, white, red, yellow, I wish all the soldiers, and airmen that have put foot in the Rine,traveled the autobahn, enjoyed a drink in a tavern, befriended a German aaaaahhh Germans true grit quick wit loyal the English or French can't hold a candle to the likes of the German people

Mozda i za dugi niz desetina godina poslije pobjede nad Trecim Carstvom (Trecim Rajhom), oprema Vermahta je ostala "u vrhu" vojnih vojnih opreme. Cak, mnoge kasnije vojske su ili imitirale ili preuzimale zarobljenu opremu za svoje vojske. Ovaj dobro uradjeni "filmic" mogao je imati natpise "kojih rodova ili sluzbi" su prikazane uniforme i oprema, tada bi bio "potpun" i mnogo korisniji za istrazivace i istoricare. No, i za ovakav ja sam zahvalan, koristan je i poucan, ima mnogo toga sto nijesam.
There is no reason we can't do both. I agree with you on the illegal immigrant thing, but I think some of the people who try to do something about take it too far. I realize not everyone wants our help, and I fully support letting them help themselves. Still though, my country does have a problem with not accepting other cultures, you are right about that. We are moving our forces out of the Middle East and into Australia, a pending free-trade agreement with South Korea,and more agreements with Taiwan are contributing to China isolating itself from it's neighbors by being unnecessarily hostile to them.

Our armed services, like the Russians, were mostly trained up civilians. The Germans did not fear our military, because they were viewed as unprofessional. What they feared was our massive supply and manufacturing capabilities....which was huge to the allied cause.
