- FARE's mission is to improve the quality of life and the health of individuals with food allergies, and to provide them hope through the promise of new treatments. This video captures the heart of our mission. The video debuted at the 18th Annual Food Allergy Ball, where we honored Joseph Ianniello, chief operating officer of CBS Corporation and member of FARE’s Board of Directors. We are proud to have collaborated with CBS to tell the stories of the food allergy community and the important work FARE is doing on their behalf.
FARE is grateful to the Frangella family and to the Swink family, who appear in the video, for courageously sharing their stories and continuing their commitment to raising awareness about the severity of food allergy.
I'm airborne allergic to shellfish. I go into shock as soon as I smell shellfish. I would love to educate and change many people's perception on how serious our food allergies are!!!
Didn't she have her Epi-pen with her?! I have really bad allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, all seafood, apples, and pineapples. I had a pistachio when I was super little and my throat started closing. Ever since I have my epi pen with me at all times. I have one in my purse by my bed, In the car, at school every where.
Hanna Behin - having an Epi pen does not guarantee that anaphylactic shock will cease.
Learning about food allergies today because I’m going to be a cashier at Chuck E. Cheese’s soon and our cashiers need to know a lot about food allergies. We’re required to know how to recommend appropriate foods and what to do if we think someone might be having a reaction. I don’t even have an allergy to any food but I like how much we care.
I'm so blessed that my nut allergy doesn't kill me
I have a nut and latex allergy, I have an epipen, the last time I had a reaction was when I was 3 and haven’t grown out of it.

Ted and Lacey,
Great to work with you on this CBS mini doc bringing attention to the dangers of food allergies,
and the life saving work of The Food Allergy Research & Education Foundation (FARE).
Ashley was my cousin
Thank You!!
i rather be dead than living with miserable allergy.
Me too. I get harassed by some of my schoolmates. There is this mean girl named Mai who LOVES to tell me that I have a nut allergy. Luckily next year I’m finally advancing to junior high school and she’ll be stuck in fourth grade.
Delia go get some medical help. Perhaps there is some medical progress.
I have terrible allergies, and I couldn't be happier. Suicide is permanent, dying is permanent, living is temporary, so I try to enjoy it.
@@வீரவன்னியர்-ங9ல I have a very bad allergy to mosquitoes, whenever a mosquito bites me it swells and gets very itchy. In 1st grade a mosquito bit me on the leg and it SWELLED SO BIG IT COVERED MY LEG. It's always a struggle even in the summer. That doesn't sound bad, you might say that but I have trouble BREATHING TOO ALL. THE. TIME. So I practice breathing well. I have soooooooooooooooooooooo much allergies mosquitoes, dust, flowers, bees, some soaps, dogs, cats, and its too long so yeah, its a STRUGGLE.
