Not kers they use ers instead,
When they use kers it was push to pash in a way (or how you would use nitrous in other games) where ers is essentially always there it just has different modes, some with more power some with less (the f1 2018 game shows how ers works quite well)

It‘s not only the frame rate. Martin Brundle said the cars look slow as hell because they are so heavy. And even he struggles to find these 2017 cars spectacular, because the F1 cars are too perfect. It looks like on rails.

    • @CerealGamingTV

how heavy they are doesnt affect how fast they look, if two identical looking cars go round a corner with one heavier one going faster, that car doesnt "look slower". the 2017 cars, however, are enormous. relative to their size, they dont seem to be going as fast, since theyre about 40% bigger.

I mean you are comparing super slicks with what looks like wet tires, so there will be an obvious time difference there...
Plus there’s the introduction of the DRS and better aerodynamics, among newer technologies the older cars didn’t have, so it’s not exactly a level playing field. Still interesting, none-the-less

The 2017 car is much more refined, poised, with less bumping and twitching, and it seems to carry more speed, can brake later, and corner faster.
Not by much, but enough; and remember that a second or so per lap ends up with the slower car being lapped after 3/4 distance.

Sehr interresant!
