All Aboard the New Reid Park Zoo Railway

The Zoo is excited to announce a new and improved battery operated train ride - the Reid Park Zoo Railway. It features a traditional, iconic locomotive and four roomy adult size wagon cars, including a wheelchair-accessible caboose. A whistle, bell and natural steam "smoke stack" add to a realistic train experience. At $4 a ticket, riders are transported on a fun and relaxing journey around the scenic Reid Park lake. Hop on board the railway during extended Reid Park Zoo hours from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. from March 8-March 17.
