In this video, I'm repotting and potting several hoyas. I'm also cutting my Jade, Pothos, & Scindapsus. If you've got some planty chores to get done, or just like to watch me try to talk and repot at the same time (epic fail 🤣) then grab a comfy spot and let's get 'er done!!

Love the Hoya, after Monstera, ZZ plant and Pothos (easy care)! It is high on my list! I only have one Hoya which is very established (more than 2 years) and have some cuttings growing in water! I'm a bit of a naturalist going back to when I was a young man, so for me I love Terra Cotta and actually have the nerve to have a few hanging plants in it! I tend to think all is good lets water! (WRONG) and I end up with root rot! So Terra Cotta! Anyway, the plastic (with the holes) for starter plants is excellent though!😂😂😂
See Robert I love that you tried different things. Some things will work for some plants, while some definitely won't. I can see me trying the terracotta for a snake or ZZ...I just haven't tried it yet, but I love the look of them.
I lined the inside of the terracotta pot with coco coir basket. Trim to shape of pot. 🪴Happy Planting🌿
Hey there Ms Lady Junes, Does this prevent the outside of terracotta pot from getting/staying wet?
I love my Hoya Chelsea! She's so easy to grow. I love her thick leaves, and some grow in the shape of ears. lol
Now I can never unsee Chelsea 'ears' 🤣. Yeah, I love her too, now if mine would get some growth on her, I'd feel like a super hero💚
Yes hoyas will stress and lighten in color in higher light and in lower light maintain their color.
Hey Jackie, have you experienced the sun-bleached Hoya leaves getting darker once removed from the bright light?
@@yvetteboonecreates I've experienced this with one of my Hoya Serpens. She used to be directly under a grow light and the leaves became very light green. I have since moved her and her leaves are becoming darker green.

I find if I take a cutting of a pothos and mix it in with my Hoya cuttings they root faster. I just did some cuttings this afternoon of a new var. Hindu Rope I got l last week to fill in the pot for when I repot the Mother into a new planter condo lol.
That reminds me, I can stick a piece of pothos in with my Macrophylla. Thanks for the reminder....I remembered for the Hoya Bella. 🏃🏾♀️doing that right now
Hii ,my cuttings have no leaves but do have 2 or more nodes, how long before i could expect growth on then?
Hi There 🙋🏽♀️. This was my first time rooting leafless hoya nodes, so I'm not sure. The roots grew pretty quickly, but only on the Australis. My Hoya Bella didn't have any, and my Macrophylla had small root growth. As for leaves, I've gotten no other growth that I can say for sure. It's been a month today. I expect to see some within the next month or so, as long as the stems aren't dying I think we may be okay. Check back cause I will update when I see anything...and you let me know how soon you see leaf action. Thanks for asking this, now I know I'm not alone in this prop-a-long 🪴
@@yvetteboonecreates sure thank you so much for letting me know, my cuttings are almost 5 days old and have shown good root growth and one even has something that resembles a new growth point, let's hope it is
