I first rode on the RF&P in 1965 traveling on the silver Meteor from New York to Avon Park Florida. It was a fascinating little railroad that ran like a big one!!!

I wish I had a nickel for every time I passed through Broad Street Station. I was especially fascinated by the three-life sized models of the first steam locomotive, the last steam locomotive, and the first two road passenger diesel engines. What became of these models?
