It’s looking sick! You know what would be cool is an easy way to use abilities, maybe something similar to Bloons TD6 where they are on the bottom of the screen so you don’t have to click the tower each time
im assuming you're going to have an easy medium and hard mode, but i think it might also be cool if there was like a swarm mode, where rather than high health bosses, there would be just a lot of zombies. and from what I have seen with these tdx videos, I think swarm might utilize the splash damage and possible pierce of towers. if you were to make swarm, it might have an easy medium and hard mode Aswell, but each mode being harder having higher health zombies and more each time. just a suggestion though.

You should try and make an information tab where players can view information of towers, ability's, enemy powers, and weapon names. Or for idea 2 you can make a multi place tower and select upgrades when your gonna place like 15 towers that you need (you can just click and a ghost of a tower will appear and you can click a ghost again to make it dissapear) and on the right side of the screen you can see the upgrades for the tower and when you select the upgrades the towers will spawn with the selected upgrades. And you can maybe add a drag select to sell or upgrade towers (multible sidebars will appear)
I was having doubts about this game as it didnt seem particularly interesting but the moment I saw the tower victory animations I was sold, no one can deny how much charm that adds to this game
I suggest adding a losing animation for the tower when you lose the game Example: - Juggernauts having a mental breakdown after he failed - Ranger yells at the other tower cause they also failed protecting the base. Or just make him look up the sky while kneeling down - Shotgunner still standing while holding his shotgun, but he just looks down at the ground cuz how disappointing he is to himself

I really like how far this game has come, here is a recommendation for the late game specifically, make a feature where you can automatically move a tower with all of its upgrades but you still pay for all the upgrades when you move it. Just an idea to make it more easier to move towers, but don't do it if it will be to unbalanced though.
I'm playing and switching as soon as this release. This game looks so fun and has so many mechanics compared to TDs where they literally copied an event, changed all the textures and called it an update.
This looks sick! Also I have feedback, when they throw the grenade it might be annoying to do all of that since usually you’re going to spam these towers all over the map. You might have to add a support tower where when a zombie comes into range the dude can throw the grenade at them instantly without having to click on it. Just an idea though.
So idea for the game: 1: towers would have defeat animations [one for if the wave doesn't have a boss, one for if the boss (plague doctor) is currently in the path and near towers, and one if a tower is next to a lesser tower (juggernaut next to shotgunner and lower), or next to an evenly balanced tower (shotgunner next to a shotgunner)]
the plague doctor is such an amazing boss, i love how he have different attacks that does different things. the victory emote is a great detail you added in!

a little hint for the interface. I think I should add a little square under the upgrades that says tap to upgrade. so that new players can know how to update their units because if you think about it, no tower defense game that at least I have seen has something that tells you: touch To update. Another change that I suggest is that when the menu showing the statistics that are going to be improved is displayed, a small button next to the icons is added that, when touched, tells you the name of the statistic. This would be very useful for players who Do not understand the icons with this, you just have to press this button to know what statistic it is.
By the way, the only other examples of a boss targeting towers I can think of are Advanced Mode in Vector Fission (last boss targets towers based on firerate, so a level 1 cleaner will be stunned quite a bit by that boss), and arena tower defense's 1st event (where there was an enemy that only attacked rabbits, like Gunner and Magician, maybe even Swordswoman). P.S. I am taking an Acellus JavaScript course, so I can understand your code (and secrets, but I don't program often). >:)
Suggestion: When the base takes damage, have an animation which makes it slowly breaks apart and when you lose, the base just explodes or something like that.
you should make it so after you win or lose you could play another round with a random map or same map. Also instead if clicking on the tower to activate the ability there should be an ability button on top of the towers UI. So keep going and make the game awesome :)
I really hope this game becomes successful, unlike most RUclipsr games that are popular for like a week after release. It looks so high quality with it not even complete yet
Hey John. Im not sure if you will make the maps somehow connect to other maps, BUT it would be a nice idea if like for a 10% chance that if they break through you can access a small area or maybe instead have the zombies actually tear through the wall.
Game looks nice and advanced, my only advice is about the upgrade bar. I think the player should be able to buy all upgrades previous upgrades and the current upgrade by clicking one of the boxes
When you release the full game out to the public, I have an idea for a tower. (You may not use this but whatever) anyways, the paralyser, it will stun a zombie for quite a long period. When you upgrade it, it will stun more zombies. This could be useful for harder modes for stunning zombies.
For the losing music, instead of making it like, sad or downbeat, you COULD add some music that makes it sound like it's directed more to the Zombies winning theme. Like, imagine you're playing as the Zombies instead of the Humans, there should be an uplifting but villanous theme to it. I think it would sound better. Another cool thing would be to spam place towers, like, maybe if you hold down CTRL on a keyboard or hold down some button on mobile, you can just keep pressing the screen and placing multiple towers. Of course, the classic "PLACE FASTER PLACE FASTER" technique which you rapidly move your cursor around everywhere, turning on an auto-clicker because the Boss is 40 studs away from killing you is fun too. Another ANOTHER cool thing would be when the Plague Doctor throws a crow at someone, instead of it exploding and the tower being stunned, there could be an animation where they swat the air to try and get the crow away whilst it's pecking and scratching at them, and at the end of the Stun, they just shoot the damn thing, or swat it away.
i have a event suggestion after some time after release: the chaos legion invasion (based on tankfish criminality video) appart of that.its a cool game that makes me still play roblox. if you didnt make i would still raging in darksoul ;-;

Skins doesn't make you stronger while toers do. So why would someone who wants to get as good as possible at the game buy skins? So when you win or lose a game you game "tower money" and "skin money".

This looks very good, especially how the boss works. If I had a singular complaint its the faces and maybe some weird ish balancing.
Suggestion: Make the UI edges differently colored for different modes, like hard could be red, medium could be yellow/orange, and easy green/blue.

Well, one currency is easier to program, and it also incentivises being smarter with your money. You can get a new tower or deck out your current one.

Also i have 2 ideas for the defeat animations for the towers
1. would be the towers rushing to get a chinook evac.
2. would be them getting mauled to death by the closest zombie and the animation is different depending on zombie and tower
Suggestion: Since there is a victory emote for the towers, I think that there should be a defeat emote for when you lose.
This game looks epic, that's all i can say, it's just magnificently Incedibly epic.

Where you fight just bosses but they have more health and defense

Basically a support tower that summons soldiers and provides hidden detection
Do you plan on adding a tower similar to the monkey village from the bloons series to provide buffs such as faster attack rate and/or camo detection?
