Wait, what language are they speaking ? it sounds a little alien also seriously how in the fuck ( I mean duh obv stormtrooper ^^ ) but how in the fuck did he miss .... ? sometimes I feel its realy toooo much.
Like the Death Troopers, they are taught to speak their own unique language among each other. Neither their Imperial allies nor their enemies will understand them. It makes them harder to anticipate and counter. I'm amazed that Dave Filoni and the Rebels team paid that much attention to detail. Filoni definitely knows his EU lore.
LKVideos I think that at times the Force shields someone when it isn’t their time to die. Fate can’t be avoided in Star Wars and it wasn’t Ezra’s time to die. Death troopers are super soldiers but for some reason they couldn’t hit a blind man walking in a straight line while he was praying. The Force protected Chirrut until he did his part.
Lmao they took like 12 shots on a completely still target and missed, can someone do something about this it's starting to make star wars go down in quality
I like to think (also giving them benefit of doubt) that the storm toopers only miss so often on jedi targets, because the jedi is throwing off their aim with the force! otherwise there's no excuse to miss such a easy close range target!
The whole season finale felt like a stab at The Last Jedi. It felt like a better version. I'm sure Rebels finished production well before The Last Jedi, but the story parallels are too similar to be coincidence. Disney needs to get rid of Kathleen Kennedy and install a Kevin Fiege for the Star Wars franchise. Someone who knows and appreciates the material they're in charge of and can produce a singular vision for the franchise, not leave it to the whims of one off screen writers. I vote Dave Filoni.
Cody would have to be in a stormtrooper unit to get selected for training he'll probably pass but the imperial royal guards are a more selective group.
See this is just one amongst many examples of why I cannot stand Rebels the whole show makes the empire look so damn weak. They don't win anything they don't do anything that shows them as a actual threat throughout the whole show. The Rebels win every single battle what does the empire do??? Unlike in Andor the show accurately portrays the empire as a competent force to be reckoned with.
This is why I have a problem with rebels. They had a chance to make the royal guards badass like they're supposed to be but dave filoni is like nope, as you can see my OC is much too cool to allow anyone else to be badass near them. Literally his characters make Corran Horn tolerable
Not THREE stormtroopers missing a floating and stationary target. Also WHERE are the robes? The red guard looks so much cooler in the robes. why does this show reach every creative art decision and choose the shit option??
@Cal D true, but too me, those robes seem like it just hinders their movement. remeber clone wars republic senate honor guards didn't also, but in the senate, they did wear it.
When you look into the lore of imperial forces you really appreciate how dicked on they are in the narrative of the films and TV shows. Stormtroopers are elite troops and make up a small amount of the empires troop numbers. The imperial guard go through some of the most gruelling training imaginable. Here Stormtroopers act like bumbling cannon fodder and the Guards are just red ninjas that stand around pointing floaty sticks.
"But Dave! Animating fabric and capes and stuff is complicated and i dont wanna!" "Okay, just redesign the guards and make them ugly like the rest of the show." "Thx Dave!"
I dunno, it seems there's some weaponry and skill differences between these guards (and the ones guarding the Emperor in ROTJ) and the Praetorian Guards we see in The Last Jedi and Mandalorian. These guys are pretty weak.
This is kind of sad. First, was Palpatine near by? If they are the Emperor's Guards like the title suggests, why are they not at his side? Why do they have such lame weapons? Why would you give someone a glow stick when you can get them a mini-gun?
Royal Guards: Alright boys, after several decades of being put on the side lines, our moment is here! Let’s make it count! Aftermath: My Emperor, the Jedi only escaped because of the retched aim of our stormtroopers. We did our job, it was their fault, not ours.
Guys, I don't get what you're complaining on? Seriously, they lifted Ezra but he wasn't immobile! He dodged the bolts. So everything is allright. And, by the way, he had only few seconds to deal with all his targets, so basically nobody did anything wrong. Just watch carefully and stop blaming the whole series just because you want to. Thanks for reading this.
Антон Чигринец then explain the death troopers they are like stormtroopers. And i could complain about the fact that star wars rebles kills the propose that stormtroopers miss on the death star because of orders and in endor because the ewoks throwing rocks was like throwing rocks from a gorilla that no helmet stop it from putting them on unconscious they had no problem killing the rebles on the tantive 4. Rebles just messes that all up so there aim should be perfect on all the episodes but they miss both death troopers the elite and stormtroopers.
It's official, Rebels can't even get the Royal guard right. Three guys pointing sticks and not one of them thought to just shoot Ezra themselves. Three guys to hold Ezra and the holding is worthless when he can still move.
I know Stormtroopers have infamously bad aim, but there is literally no excuse for them not hitting Ezra when he's defenseless and being held still in the air.

He always looked like that when he became a sith, he used alchemy to create a mask, however it was "ripped" off when Mace deflected his lightning and he wasn't able to recreate it
Juju the Homs I'm aware of that, but I thought Sidious is restored his mask at some point and then got it ripped again, I was confuse here on why Palpatine would want to look like in the Clone Wars era to Ezra
@@darthtroller I think, that he want to look more friendly, like a normal, kind guy. In his real form he look odd, strange, definitelly unworth of trust. As senator look he tricked all Galaxy.
@@jujuthehoms5482 hmm I always thought, that look was becouse of damage from deflected lightning, know, when Windu protect himself against power of Sidious. And after that his face was deformed permamently
@@bobek24psychomaster25 yep
That music with Ian’s voice is amazing
*DETHTROY HEM!*
@The Jedi Master no it isn't, sam witwer only voiced Palpatine in that one scene in season 2, in season 4 Palpatine is voiced by ian
0:13. Palpatine: Good job, kid. You broke my holo-disguise. This is the third time this has happened! Do you know how much it costs to fix this thing?!? More than what a Grand Admiral makes in their entire career! You know what? You're getting the beating of a lifetime. Guards!!! DO IT.
I read this in Robot Chicken Palpy voice
0:18 only once he broke the lie and deceit, did he see Palpatine for what he truly is
Sheev could have choked Ezra through hologram
For one I would like for somebody to get force choked, only for them to start choking the other person back.
I dunno, he slammed your sith butt pretty hard in to the wall of the medical chamber. No wonder you were all hunched over in the original trilogy.
GhostDaGhost yep, why not have Sidious start to choke him and then the hologram breaks cuz of the stones falling?
@Darth Sidious Are you seriously suggesting Ezra is more powerful ? you do realize how powerful Sidious is right .... ?
Palpatine/Sidious pretending to be a nice Emperor greatly weakened him.
1:15 He was like, Dude... for real?
Wait, what language are they speaking ? it sounds a little alien
also seriously how in the fuck ( I mean duh obv stormtrooper ^^ ) but how in the fuck did he miss .... ? sometimes I feel its realy toooo much.
LKVideos Battle language.
LKVideos - The royal gaurds learned a secret language to speak to one another.
LKVideos
I think that at times the Force shields someone when it isn’t their time to die. Fate can’t be avoided in Star Wars and it wasn’t Ezra’s time to die.
Death troopers are super soldiers but for some reason they couldn’t hit a blind man walking in a straight line while he was praying. The Force protected Chirrut until he did his part.
+KiriUzu
At least that would explain a great many things lol
Who’s here just because of the mandalorian episode
Love how the storm troopers completely miss a subdued guy gotta keep to the lore 😂
At least there wasnt a moment where a blade just... “magically” disappeared. 😂
To think what kind of training u do to be a storm trooper and in the end you miss a easy target.
Classic case of "stormtroopers cant hit a main character"
Lmao they took like 12 shots on a completely still target and missed, can someone do something about this it's starting to make star wars go down in quality
I like to think (also giving them benefit of doubt) that the storm toopers only miss so often on jedi targets, because the jedi is throwing off their aim with the force! otherwise there's no excuse to miss such a easy close range target!
I think the Jedi canonically do this
A Last Jedi reference? Without a totally insane Kylo Ren?
Isaac Kim no. The Imperial guards have been in episode 3 and 6 . episode 8 sucks dick but it's nice seeing the force Pikes finally do something
HaloModder555 it was more a parallel to RotJ.
These are the Imperial Guards, not the Praetorian Guards.
In legends guards didn't always wear robes, long before TLJ
After seeing his stormtroopers in "action", Palpatine probably went home to rethink his life choices.
1:07 cosidering my accuracy percentage on videogames, i can definitely say even i have a better aim
I only imagine if Ezra had a lightsaber in this scene. That would've been sooo epic.
Антон Чигринец so true! 😎
Yes
Way better than Kylo and Rey
Ezra was literally levitating in the same spot, and the storm trooper still missed lmaaao
Really Storm Troopers Can't Hit A Non Moving Target!
Yup, there sure can.
Emperor in clone wars - force chocking dooku as hologram
Emperor in rebels - destroy him!
Imagine if Commander Cody became a Royal Guard and ended up facing off with Rex. Would’ve been amazing
Cody would have to be in a stormtrooper unit to get selected for training he'll probably pass but the imperial royal guards are a more selective group.
@@CanadianBallistics I for sure bet Cody would’ve been able to get in. I like where Cody’s story ended up going tho
YOU MISSED!!! HOW COULD YOU MISS?!? HE WAS THREE FEET IN FRONT OF YOU!!!
Hey look the guards are actually doing something for once, guess the watched the last jedi
The staffs of the guard here make sense, given the Dark side's tendency towards incapacitating enemies without harming them.
This is why I have a problem with rebels. They had a chance to make the royal guards badass like they're supposed to be but dave filoni is like nope, as you can see my OC is much too cool to allow anyone else to be badass near them. Literally his characters make Corran Horn tolerable
Palpatines role is short but great
holograms have filters lmao
This is bullshit Imperial Red Guards would've butchered a simple jedi knight.
They weren’t the ones who botched it, the stormtroopers were
@@jakealter5504 Yeah after looking back the troopers did miss all those shots.
0:13-0:42 gave me chills ☠️☠️
can i have a link to watch star wars rebels ep 14 and 15 i missed it plz
dragon king2545 go to KimCartoon and watch it
"I don't need anything from you." That's exactly what Anakin should've said to Palpatine before.
Ah yes, I see, the Imperial troops were within the Stardestroyer large plot armour that Ezra is wearing, that's why they died.
The plot armor is real in this one
The first 42 seconds is better than all of the last jedi.
And the rest?
@@grisom5863 a travesty that makes WH40K imperial guardsmen look like tactical geniuses and veteran elite special forces by comparison.
@@AbyssWatcher745
Which they are.
Those royal guards must have been so pissed.
« Only Imperial stormtrooper are so precise... »
Not THREE stormtroopers missing a floating and stationary target.
Also WHERE are the robes? The red guard looks so much cooler in the robes. why does this show reach every creative art decision and choose the shit option??
They look better this way they seem like they actually do something rather then ceremonial robes
The more you think about it, tarkin must have regretted using human recruits instead of clones
Even with stationary target, Stormtrooper still cannot shoot accurately and miss
"But Dave! Animating fabric and capes and stuff is complicated and i dont wanna!"
"Okay, just redesign the guards and make them ugly like the rest of the show."
"Thx Dave!"
A teen age boy takes out 3 of the emperors guards wich are the most elite unite in SWU.
Hang on, Sheev choked Dooku through a hologram in the Clone Wars... why didn't he do it again?
Dude was literally floating in mid-air in the same spot, relatively close and yet they miss... Several times
can we say that they are praetorian guards?
I dunno, it seems there's some weaponry and skill differences between these guards (and the ones guarding the Emperor in ROTJ) and the Praetorian Guards we see in The Last Jedi and Mandalorian. These guys are pretty weak.
That scene was so awesome! I think it was one of the best scenes in that episode!
This is kind of sad. First, was Palpatine near by? If they are the Emperor's Guards like the title suggests, why are they not at his side? Why do they have such lame weapons? Why would you give someone a glow stick when you can get them a mini-gun?
Man , Ezra didn't even have fear facing Palpatine, he is ready to free lothal
Royal guards: How could you idiots miss ? You were a few feet apart!!
That was a powerful force push Ezra has really grown in power beyond Kanan
Ezra bridger is one tough son of a bitch
Seriously? How do you miss that? HOW?!
Who learned them to shoot? Mayor from Hellsing Ultimate?
SithEmperetor what?
There was a main antagonist who only once (at the end of whole show) was able to hit anyone form the pistol, earlier he was always missing :p
"Who learned them to shoot?" You don't see anything wrong with this...?!?
Rebles just messes that all up so there aim should be perfect on all the episodes but they miss both death troopers the elite and stormtroopers.
sarcasm??
Read the comics and you'll see the Guards kicking ass, they're like one level below Vader at some point. These storm troopers just cant aim.
It's official, Rebels can't even get the Royal guard right. Three guys pointing sticks and not one of them thought to just shoot Ezra themselves. Three guys to hold Ezra and the holding is worthless when he can still move.
I know right they're it should have only taken 1 of them and the royal gurd should have owned the messed up Disney pirncess jedi/ ezra
Only a plot armour could save someone from such a shitty situation.
