    I’m not sure why I find watching you work as a greenskeeper after a day of ME working as a greenkeeper so relaxing - but I do! You work in a beautiful spot! I’m working on a course build and we are hoping to open 9 holes next April. I hope we can get it to look as great as your course does by then!

    I love this guys content and attitude. Seriously, your videos are awesome, please keep the content coming! I work in the technical field and my stress level is often through the roof.. but your attitude teaches me to just calm down, enjoy every moment I can, and make the best out of everything. My second passion is managing turf at my house, I absolutely love it!

    Hi John, I'm a new subscriber to your channel so forgive me if you've covered this topic already, I haven't watch ALL of your videos yet but I'm working on it. Really enjoying them and learning alot. I'm in the hiring process for a course here in North Central Florida so they're giving me an idea of what to expect on the job. I have a really basic question: What do you wear to work? Shorts or pants, long or short sleeves, a combination of both and do you wear sneakers or some type of work boot. I'm assuming the weather will be about the same here as in South Florida so looking for your input. Thanks man, keep up the good work. You're making starting a new job a lot less scary!

    • @fairwayjohn6336

      Hi Bob - good luck out there! You’re going to love it. I usually wear waterproof outdoor work pants (blue - to match course colors). I sometimes wear blue shorts. I’d recommend long sleeve, breathable shirt, steel toed shoes. Definitely sunglasses and a hat. NOW, the course might require you to wear a uniform so that might change things. But definitely bring sunglasses, hat, water jug. Good luck!!!

    Why do you have mulch and pine straw,is there any rhyme or reason, cos i saw some landscape beds and tree rings have pine straw others have mulch, why is that?

    • @fairwayjohn6336
      @fairwayjohn6336  3 года назад

      @@fairwayjohn6336 what is that, is there any advantage mulch has over straw, or it's personal?

    • @fairwayjohn6336
      @fairwayjohn6336  3 года назад +1

      I’ve had to spray (RoundUp) to kill weeds in both pine straw beds and mulch beds. In my opinion, the mulch does a waaaaay better job preventing weeds than the pine straw. So maybe that’s why the Super is making the transition?
