Sorry for your loss. Same thing happened to me. Came home from working at the course and my dog of 15 years passed away in front of me and my wife. He was fine the day before.
Sorry for your loss John, another bloke with a RUclips channel has not long got a dog , can't remember if she's a rescue or not but he named her Zoe. Made me think of you. His channel is Portugal project I think .❤️
So sorry for your loss! I can only imagine your pain, so many of us love your videos. Glad you are back, keep smiling and when the sun shines down on the course she’s looking down on you!
Sorry for your loss John. That’s a long time to have someone as a part of your family. Been there. Very difficult. Love your positive attitude. And love the channel. 🌴🌵
Lawrence owes me 5 bucks too. Good to hear a happiness in your tone after losing your dog. The views definitely made me feel a bit better. Glad to see another video of yours John. Keep them coming and I’ll keep watching and commenting.
Thanks Fairway John your videos bring back memories for me when i worked at Woodlands golf club Victoria Australia IT WAS THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD, except the spraying of the chemicals, it was a bit hazardous,, l loved cutting the greens with the jacobson and raking the bunkers
Sorry to hear about your dog. I do your job currently and cut cups every other day. I like it. Superintendent is pushing me for a two year degree. Big step for me. So looking forward to see what happens
So sorry to hear, John. They truly become part of our family. Take time to heal, and just remember you don't have to forget the past to move forward. You'll be ready for a new best friend someday. When you're ready we'll be here to gush over your new buddy! And Lawrence needs to pay up! LOL. I agree with your commentary on the US vs EU Ryder cup.
John, I am so sorry for your loss. Find solace in the fact that you gave your pup the best life they could possibly have. Thank you as always for the excellent content, love every second of it.
My 7 year old german/belgian shepherd mix is laying at my feet while I'm watching your latest video, it's gonna suck when he goes but that comes with the territory bro... sorry for your loss. So, it'll be 1 month tomorrow that I started working on a course here in north central Florida. I learned alot from watching your videos and got to see some of those amazing Florida sunrises in person. We don't have the variety of wildlife you have, no water features on our course, but we do have coyotes and fox squirrels; those guys are funny. They're almost the size of a cat and will stand there staring at you when you're approaching them on a mower/pro gator, like they're daring you to come closer, before darting away. Too funny! So about 30 days of spinning/raking bunkers everyday from 0530-0830 was a bit of a challenge. Not only is it pitch dark that early in the morning, but I wasn't familiar with the course at all and had to learn where all the bunkers were w/o a map. The course I'm working at isn't as fancy as the one you're on so I had to make one myself on a laptop from google maps and a paint program. Whatever works right?! By the time I was done each day I was soaked in sweat (It's HOT and HUMID here man) and then it was on to our 2nd assignment, and it's SEPTEMBER. I can't imagine what that would be like mid summer. 2nd (and then 3rd after lunch) assignments could be anything from digging an irrigation ditch by hand, ripping up old sod and laying down new sod again by hand, edging cart paths or bunkers, weed eating or harvesting cores after aerating the greens. That's a hard day's work right there! There were a few days that when I got home after work I couldn't move from being sore. A couple tylenol and a good night's sleep and then back at it again. One day I got stuck in the middle of the course while traveling between holes on my sandpro for about an hour while getting pelted by a cold downpour. An unexpected storm popped up and there wasn't a shelter nearby. Luckily I had brought my raingear so I just hung out under a tree until it let up. We were sent home early that day, too wet to do anything after that. That was one of two days that were cut short due to the weather. It was then that I began thinking the job wasn't for me and I started looking for something else! I recently learned that our Pro shop is expecting an opening in November (Cart Attendant/Starter/Ranger position) so hopefully I'll be able to transfer there. As a courtesy I let my boss know yesterday that I hadn't found it yet but I was looking for something else. This morning when I went into work he assigned ME to train someone else on how to spin bunkers. hahaha! I told my trainee about your youtube channel so you may be getting another new subscriber. ; )
I'm truly sorry for your loss, man. It's never easy but it always gets better. We'll all be thinking of you both and hope things are easier for you soon. Take care!

My girl is 4 years old and I hope she lives till she is 14! I can’t imagine life without her so I am sure you are going through a really tough time right now. The course looks phenomenal, do you ever get to play it?

Whose honest heart is still his Master's own, Who labors, fights, lives, and breathes for him alone. First to welcome, First to defend, And in life, the firmest Friend. Says it all...
