One way to get Jackson to wait for things that he wants is to teach him the word please. Every time he cries for you just calmly say please he will start to associate the word please with what he wants. He will learn manners and learn to wait for what he wants.
Adding the ASL Signs “More” & “Wait” can help teach kids to communicate better. I bet Jackson would do great using signs. Signing Time Videos are fantastic.
I feel terribly for these small businesses that are struggling during these times, I wish the government was doing more to subsidize them while we wait for enough people to get vaccinated to turn things around. Hopefully "normal" will come back soon!

Thank you for making content all through the pandemic! They've been a real help keeping me sane, and I feel like you guys need more appreciation for what you do!
Sanford still is a train stop town! Amtrak runs a very unique and popular service called the Auto Train. It only has two stations, the train runs non stop between Sanford, FL and Lorton, VA (just south of Washington, DC). Riders bring their personal cars to the station, and they are loaded on to the train in freight cars, so the car comes with you! That way you don't need to rent a car on the other end. It's a cool service and I think it'd make for a nice few videos if you guys want to come visit DC some time.
I lived in Occoquan, VA for a bit and loved to drive by to see them loading the Auto Train beside the 95. Our favorite IHOP was in Lorton right around the corner from there.
I took the Auto Train once, when I was doing my last year of seasonal work for Disney. I didn't want to drive by myself all the way from central VA. It was a great experience! It's 16 hours overnight with dinner & breakfast included. It was funny because when I went to check in they asked me if I was going to work for Disney. Apparently a bunch of the College Program kids would use it so they didn't have to drive all the way to Florida from New England. Highly recommend people try it out!
Hi guys! As I write this it's 12.55am in the UK which means it's now my 21st birthday! I watch you guys every night (even though you upload at 1am for us lol, I'm a student so late nights are normal for me now!) and you are just my fave channel and make the best content! So happy to be starting my 21st with you guys, big love xx
Bluey is the best! Out of all the things our little lady has watched Bluey is always the one she goes back to, and both myself and my husband also love it! I would always recommend it to anyone with little loves 🥰
When we travel to Disney, we started taking the Amtrak Auto Train because we like the convenience of being able to have our own car (without having to put the thousands of miles on it to drive!) Especially now while our two kids are small and in car seats (I don't trust rental car seats!) The Auto Train station in Florida is in Sanford and after seeing your last few videos of the area we'll for sure have to take some time on our next arrival or departure day to explore a little bit! Thanks for the great content as always!
@@jenniferrupert7726 we took it once back when we took our daughter for her first trip a few years ago. We always prefer to have a car with us when we go to Disney/Universal and with all the things needed to travel with a small child (stroller, carseat, portable crib, etc.) We decided the auto train was a great option! We loved it!!! We're planning our next trip for our son's first time now and planning on taking the auto train again!
Just wanted to say I so appreciate your vlogs. Not being able to see family your vlogs help me feel less alone. Lately I've been going back and watching your vlogs from a couple years ago to reminder times before the pandemic. ♥️
The mickey doll you found is definitely from the 80s. I was born in the mid 80s I had the minnie version of that and my brother had the mickey. It was to learn how to tie your shoes and how to work different buttons /straps. I was lucky enough to still have them for my son to play with when he was a toddler but gave them to one of my nieces a few years ago when she was little. But the dolls are very cute and nostalgic for me.
I thought I should share this, but me and my family when I am home from college watch your guys' videos and absolutely love them! It's so funny how we talk about you guys like we actually know you lol and now my parents have figured out how to watch RUclips on our TV at home and text me everyday if I have seen what our fav family is up to :)
Yes on the “sleepy time” Bluey! It’s so accurate. Kids getting up in the middle of the night, switching beds, kicking the parents out of their bed. It’s real life! 🤣
What a great video! Thank you so much for visiting us at our German restaurant and deli in Downtown Sanford, and also for featuring some of our fellow small businesses in the Historic District. We hope you enjoyed your lunch and we'll see you again soon!
Great vlog guys Jackson is doing so well, I remember flying into Sanford airport when I came to Orlando in 2009, I flew with Thomson airways, from Manchester, all the best from us here in the UK near liverpool
My daughter is 9 years old and she kept hearing you talk about Bluey on previous episodes. She kept saying it was for little kids when she finally gave in and we watched it and let me tell you! We laughed so much!!! It was really good we are hooked now
Really cool retro disney items and food looks good along w/ cool book store. Sanford is a great place to visit. It amazes me how good Jackson is about traveling and visiting venues w/:Mom & Dad.
You made my day, the Willow Tree was my Dad's favorite restaurant. He passed 9 years ago last Monday, and thinking of all the fun he had there makes me laugh and cry (good tears)
Loved this video. I grew up in Sanford in the 80’s. Downtown Sanford did not use to look like that! My mom used to take me to Knights for school shoes. Honestly a little trippy to see how much it has changed.
Bluey is our favorite family show too! It’s so cute, it sometimes makes me cry and it’s gives such wonderful ideas of different pretend games to play!! Bluey is the best!! Much love from Kansas!! 💖
@timtracker you guys really need to come by the Orange County Regional history center. I work as a museum educator and I think you guys would absolutely love learning about central Florida history!
My hubby and I made it to Sanford for the most amazing pretzel ever!! Thanks for the FYI. When we come back to this area I so must get another pretzel. We checked out the upstairs dinning and there were a lot of people dinning. Hats off to the servers for hauling food up those stairs.
I LOVE seeing you guys go thrifting for Disney merch and finding really cool stuff. I love thrifting for vintage Disney merch but live no wear near the parks so it’s usually super had to find or it’s expensive! Next time I’m in Florida’s I might need to make a stop there.
My family owns the full sets of those glasses! My parents collected the first set of 4 from McDonalds back in the day and my sister and I got the rest from EBay! They’re all we drink out of, totally love them!
Hi there, I work for Lion King in Broadway ( furloughed😢) the weird yellow, orange and blue creature that Tim didn’t know what it was at the antique store is one of the four Tricksters ( it’s the elephant, I know it doesn’t look like one!) from the show. They used to sell all of them at the theater. Crazy to see it in Florida. Always enjoy watching you guys.
I have those Mickey glasses. They were from McDonald’s in 2000. They are our favorite drinking glasses. This was so much fun. I had a Teddy Ruxben hen I was a kid. We make thumb cookies for Christmas and put strawberry jam in them and top with powdered sugar. Taking me down memory lane.
Oooo an old alien encounter pin! I love those pins, the ones that are of Disney rides or attractions, I wish I found more of them in thrift stores in my area
I can't believe I had the mickey head watch, the fishing mickey watch AND the gymnast mickey when I was a kid 😂 And I wouldn't have remembered unless I saw them
I absolutely love going to thrift and antique stores. I would love to go to that one. I bet Florida has the best ones with all the Disney history there. Thank you for sharing this it was so super fun.

I prefer acme out in longwood as some really old Disney stuff ends up there like the full Epcot play set which is rare in itself from the eighties. I saw once the rare early Mickey and Minnie teddy bears like opening date design old.
