Best car ever in its price range. I have 2015 model for 5 years now.. no single issue at all. Never took it to agency for regular check\maintenance scammers. I just change oil and filter by myself. I LOVE IT

@@528Chris I've had mine for 305,000 miles and still using it to make 5 hour trips.
This is 2007 LTZ model! I'm now going to upgrade it to the 2017 model. Yet I'd rather retire the car to a in town driving individual but I'm sure it's has another 100,000 in it.
Never given me transmission problem ever!
Thank the Lord. 😇 only issue is minor things like tire monitors, changing tubes, lights, etc.

I have a 2020 premier of this car, black fully loaded and I bought it new back in June 2020 and have put 12k miles on it since then. Love this car.
It's a shame Chevy will stop production after 2020. This car is legendary; an american classic.

Chevrolet may be giving the Impala a break and probably reintroduce a few years later.....Remember, Chevrolet retired the Camaro in 2002, gave it a break, and reintroduced the Camaro in 2010......

I had my Malibu in for service in mid January and wound up talking to the sales manager. He said that Chevy was no longer taking orders for the Impala. GM wanted to finish production and determine if some car plants should switch to trucks/SUVs/crossovers.
Needless to say, I bought an Impala about 2 weeks later, because I wanted a big car with a V-6 and a lot of features.
Full size trucks & vans are good but usually most people don't need them all the time. A quality U.S. made sedan is the way to travel most if the time.
We own a 2014, nothing has changed in 5 years but price. The Depreciation on these cars is Incredible. We paid less than $19,000 w/ 12,000 miles (almost a 50% loss.) Excellent car for sure. Also, forgot to mention we purchased ours from CARVANA a 100% online dealer w/ excellent results.
I have a 2014 Ford Fusion that was rear ended and ended up renting a 2017 Chevy impala ....my goodness the difference in space inside the car and the trunk I loved it for my day to day activity but unfortunately Enterprise wanted the car back lol

Thanks for posting this. I was considering a Fusion but really glad I went with the Impala. I had a feeling the Fusion was going to be small and dumpy.
I have a 2017 with 95K on it. Never had a problem. Best car I've ever owned. It's a shame they stopped making them. You can't buy a car like this anymore.

I purchased a new Chevrolet Impala Premier exactly identical to the one on the video last August before GM announced it will stop selling the Impala, Lacrosse, CT6, and XTS. Great car, good power, but the gas mileage is meh. 17-city burns like an eight-cylinder.
@@MrTblackmon I noticed more when using cheap regular gas. I think premium might be better for V6?

@Random RUclips Watcher - I get like 17-city and about 25-highway, if 25-highway. It is abysmal with gas mileage.

Joshua McDonald in 1979, I was 19 years old I had a 1974 Chevy Impala 2 door Custom coupe two tone hard top color light green and dark green with vinyl interior seats with plastic covers power windows power lock AM & FM Radio with 8 Track tape with Air Conditioner 350 Engine I wish GM would bring it back but they would probably have to make some modifications and make it a smaller sedan Thank You for posting.

ive owned a 2006 chevy impala LS for 1 year and it was a quick and spacious car. two days ago i upgraded to the 2019 model and i can really feel the power without listening to it.

I think it's a very appealing car both inside and out. Keep the over priced and expensive to replace 20" tires. Hate to see this car go away esp since we have so few V6 autos anymore.

Bought a 2019 malibu premier , the tech and screen and displays are all updated , it’s a shame they didn’t update it for the pricer impala . The impalas have the same displays for years now

I used to have a 2010 I loved her she was reliable, I have a 2014 Camry that I am planning to trade in. I'm planning on getting a 2018 Camry but see these newer Impala they are sharp but just too big for me. But I miss driving one

3-13-20: In Fargo, ND....there's an EXACT duplicate of this car, totally loaded. It's got the smooth grill inserts where the Radar-Cruise unit is. All Black, 20" wheels like in this video, & Black Leather. Every possible option.....MSRP = $40,950.
Just got home from a quick trip to my local Ace Hardware store.
I checked out this video to see what was under the hood of the new Impalas.
The reason that I wondered, is because I just "blew the doors off of one" on my way home.
There is a traffic light near me, that has two lane traffic before the intersection, and a 2 into 1 lane merge 1/8 mile after the intersection. Naturally, it is a traffic light that sees its share of informal "drag races" as the light changes from red to green, and the two cars battle for the lead position at the lane merge beyond the intersection.
(If you have low-testosterone, you probably won't understand this concept.)
So, the traffic light is red, and I choose the "second lane" beside the 2019 V6 Impala that is already stopped at the light.
Mind you, I am driving an old 2004 545i BMW. Well, cross traffic filters across the intersection, followed by the turn lanes, before we get the green light.
To my surprise, the Impala driver is "on the ball" and gets the jump on me as the light changes to green. However, I am seriously disappointed when I wind up first gear and grab second. I literally just blew by him as if he was peddling a Toyota Prius.
What gives? I was hoping for a challenge. If this is the way they are building Impalas these days; they actually need to discontinue production. Any old, flea-bitten hyena could make a meal of one.
My vehicle is 15 years old, with 150,000 miles on it, for Pete's sake.

I picked this over a 2020 Honda Accord sport.
This car is one of the best if not the best sedan in this price range. This is allot of car for about $35,000 & they are not that hard to maintain & parts are reasonable as the car gets about 100,000. Then you'll get 150,000 more out of it.
I wanted the exact same but sadly I never got around it.
I hope they bring this back someday. Shame it got the axe.

First reviewer was very good. Second one kept saying "right here" (as if it would be anywhere else other than in the camera's view), the word "stuff," along with a few incomplete sentences (what did he think the back seat would do? We'll never know). But the worst was his grand finale, when he went the douchebag route ("so if you wanna get a bunch of women..."). He's supposed to be selling a car, not trying to impress the jocks in high school.

It's a quite strong car had 3 impacts on rear bumper with trashy Toyotas and guess what! one of them got it's hood bent and headlight broken during impact while Chevy had a bumper crack that's it but stayed intact in all impacts

Beware of the 2018 Chevrolet Impala back up camera. In the rain the dash board screen image could be extremely blurry due to rain drops on the rear camera lenses and this poor image could get someone killed or seriously injured. This is a General Motors Corporation problem!

I was wanting one of these. I wound up buying a 2016 Malibu. Sorry to say, I will likely never buy another GM vehicle built after 1993. for all thoughts and purposes, GM seems to be getting their engineers and designers straight out of drug rehab these days, because it is clear that most of them are smoking crack. Problems that used to have the simplest solutions now require a dealer visit and pricey labor and parts. and GM has been having transmission problems for a very long time.

У меня есть такая 16 года, это полный п....ц, а не машина. Внутри на задних седениях места для ног больше чем в БМВ 740 , 6,4 до сотни, проблем вообще ни каких. Внутри просто огромная. За эти деньги тачка поосто супер. Только меняю расходники.

My experience with this 16ltv6 trans went out at 32k, clear coat started peeling so fast and so bad the whole car needed to be repainted, squeaky interior/cheap plastics, water leaks in the trunk and the mylink screen goes black from time to time. Other than those few small issues it’s a ok automobile
