I booked these guys for a halloween party bash one time. They lived in tx and i was in cali. They played the show for airfare for all the members. I picked them up from the airport during the show. I had free kegs, all day bbq for carnivores and veggies, show was 5 bux 12 bands. We made enough to pay everyone that invested $ in the show plus the band. I lost about $350 i invested but didn't care. It was a legendary show and they were excellent people as well as great live. We actually got sound permits and block party permits for the show so it couldn't be shut down. The few times the cops did show up we had runners at the door that would walk through the crowd and let the underage kids know to ditch or hide their beers. It was a great show and i don't regret a damn thing about it. Great guys and nikki is still the coolest dude. Solid guy.
@@ralphtom3431 I didn't but others did. The lineup(if i remember it) was: ghoul, butt trumpet, mutual abuse, destroy everything, instant asshole, suburban death camp(i think?), case of emergency(i think?), and i honestly can't remember the rest. I don't have a flyer from the show(even tho i made a bunch). Really bummed i dont have a flyer from it cuz it was seriously an amazing show.

got known of this album in the early 90ies as *bitzcore records* based in germany rereleased it. a short hardcore punk revivals was going on at those times here in german speaking lands. still amazing in my ears!
Saw them in 86'. Power kept going out due to the generator failing in the condemned house they were playing in. Great show anyway. It was one of the earlier HC shows I ever saw. So glad I caught the tail end of the classic hardcore era (85'-87')
Don't know how Scotty managed to do Nikki Sikki's job but he did it and did it well. 491 Guerrero beach forever. I'm one of the Rugrats across the street he would let carry a mike stand or a cymbal or a couple drumsticks in to a show so we could get in for free. I guess technically we were roadies for Verbal Abuse, put that on a resume if we ever looked for jobs. Fuck ups and Fuckett's are the ones that we would give cases of Pepsi "found" at the old plant around the corner in exchange for a 12 pack of beer they could get for it at the corner store. They always did us right and looked out for us when we were like 10 or 11 years old, shaping our impressionable minds into the Anarchist shit disturbers that we are. Thank you.
No Better than Slayer !! This Is Hardcore not Speedmetal ! (R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman) ... Do Not Compare Metal with Punk o.K. !!! Different Style, Different Attitude, Complete Different Music although Slayer covered It with a more modern Sound it doesn't have That HC Feeling as 'The Abuse' .
@@nomessnofussjustpureimpact4771 Slayer is definitely the most metal mutha's ever... But I'm pretty sure if Jeff was still alive he would tell you this stuff is the base material for Thrash. Especially Slayer's brand of Speed Thrash.
