The best thing about the Vikings win over Green Bay was the inspired play of the OL. Green Bay has a good pass rush, but they were a non-factor. Sam had good pockets to pass from for almost the entire game. Good job Big Guys! Go Vikes!

People in other countries are charmed and SKOL!ing. They remind me of the ‘87 Twins-who I saw at the Dome for all 4 ALCS and 4 World Series games. These guys love playing together. Oh, and they seem to win a good number of football games, as well. 🙏🏽✌🏽💜
During training camp Jefferson was talking about how good Darnold was looking and the connection they were creating. At the time I thought it was your normal being a good teammate talk or trying to get the fans to buy in but it has been proven that Jefferson was letting us all know what the real deal was. We should have listened to him. Jetta knew what he was talking about. This team is special. So many times in the past I would be worried at the end of games when they were close but this year I feel more confident. O'Connell might just belong next to Bud Grant and this is only his third year. Amazing what he's done for this team.

Sam wants to be a Viking. He is not going to demand some massive bank breaking contract. I see him signing a 3 year 100 million dollar contract, that only has like a 20 million dollar hit the first year. That would leave them with a lot of money to sign players.
I say give that man a starting offer now of 3 years $100 MM (Baker Mayfield contract equivalent) and go from there -- try and lock him up before it gets ridiculous in the bidding war.
Going to take more than that. 3 for $115-120 but at least you can structure the contract creatively vs franchising him. He's in the high 40's /yr on the open market. So if we can get him for 40/yr or less .. get it done
He gets 1 year, $26mil. You don't want to waste the talent you just drafted this year by sinking JJ's whole rookie contract with Darnold. No hate on Darnold. But if KoC can do that with Darnold. What will he do with JJ?

And I would say he's worth 3 for $120MM -- bottom line is, would he want to go make $50MM/yr on a bad team or stay here for 30-40MM with the talent he has around him?
