I Appreciate all the flowers you have given my team this year!! Can't Wait for Sunday Night & playoffs. This is going to be exciting. I knew we could be a playoff team this year but I didn't call 14-2. SKOL
People don’t realize Darnold is a year younger than Burrow because he’s been in the league two more years than Joe. As long of a career as Burrow has in front of him with the accolades he’s sure to receive (rightfully so), there’s a world where Darnold has the same longevity. None of this is to say Sam is Joe- but he’s finally playing with confidence and is in a great locker room. Love to see it.
Sam makes Cousins look worse. Just laying that out there to many fans thinking Cousins was the answer. My issue with Cousins is he is inconsistent. He can throw a dime or a horrible throw and you never know until it happens. Usually the more pressure on him the worse he gets. Proven since he has been in the league. Sam has almost the exact same "weapons" then 2 years ago do to injury, last year shouldn't count.
The respect is not what this team needs right now, that comes with show up and show out. These people in purple are going to Detroit to plunder and take what’s there’s . Defense wins CHAMPIONSHIPS that’s what’s needed. Thanks guys love this team And love you guys.. peace out ✌️
As a vikes fan, I agree vikes fans have a complex (mostly ptsd of past failures) but I think this year it’s due to them being on the eagles and lions heals all year rather than the preseason win total. National media was losing its mind after the hot start but then completely gave up on them after losing to two of the best nfc teams in four days (with travel). Since then they’ve been a wagon, sometimes defensively and sometimes offensively. There’s a serious argument for best hc best dc.
As a lions fan, I think where we’ll get you is in the second half… the Packers almost did it Sunday, it’s how the first lions game turned out also. Lions D will get torched initially, but our offense will keep pace, eventually leading to halftime where AG will notice tendencies and Branch/Joseph will jump a rout for a pick… allowing us to break your serve and take the W…. most likely heading to a third game in the playoffs…
@@PaulVandercook I wouldn’t look into that “second half” too much. Love had 64 yards with ten minutes left. They preceded to stop play man coverage to protect the lead which they did. You can say it got too close but koc track record in one score games and the ease of the last drive speaks to them being in control.
@@donaldw12318 I guess we’ll see… I mean maybe I’m mistaken but pretty sure we won the last game… Yes it was close, yes the Vikings have won clutch games, but the difference is we beat you… So until next Sunday y’all can’t say anything without sounding butthurt
@ lol nice discussion. I’d heard lion’s fans online had already become unbearable but hadn’t seen it. Glad to see youre handling their success so gracefully.
Understand the Vikings ALWAYS are willing to trade points to chew up a clock at the end of games... I do not like the prevent defense but there it is. They know themselves and can turn it on and off as needed, if you need proof just analyze their one score games. Review this year's game with the Lions, they came back and had the game won "IF" Darnold gets a first down. Something Darnold is much better at now then then, see the Green Bay game.
I’m a Vikings fan but hearing both sides say we gonna crush the other is DUMBBBB. The lions beat us in our home by 2 POINTS. Not 20, not 30, 2 POINTS. It’s gonna be a fight to the end no matter what. Stop being delusional and acting like it’s gonna be a cakewalk with either team. It’s gonna be a hard fought game by both sides
Hopefully the lions injuries on defense hinder them in this game. We saw San fran should have beaten them. Missed field goals are the only reason Detroit beat San fran. You are 100 percent correct though lions won in Minnesota and that isn't easy so this game will be tight.
As a Vikings fan I think the game may come down to player experience and that would favor the Lions. The Vikings need to learn how to rack up the score . Last weeks game was close because Vikings relax. The last pass was so close to a missed toss.
As a Vikings fan the national media Jabroni storyline that sticks with me is ESPN predicting that we would have the Number 1 overall pick in the draft.
Not sure what the pundits are watching but before the season I said Darnold would throw for 4500 yards and 40 tds. He’s at 4100 yards and 35 td’s. With how cousins, Mullens, and dobs played and the free agents and guys back from injury of course darnold put up numbers
Even if you thought he would be good, there’s zero chance you predicted that he would have literally the best season in league history for a quarterback in his first year with a new team. I’m calling bs
The Vikings are definitely a good team. Saying that, before making predictions about how they are going to steamroll the Lions there are some things you need to understand. 1. Lions beat the Vikes in their house the first time. 2. Strength of schedule. No one can say they had a schedule near what the Lions faced. 3. You guys are coming to our house this time. Will it be close? Probably, but I don't see Minnesota walking out of our house with a win.
The Packers got that defensive offsides all back in the fourth quarter that kept one of the Packers TD drives alive. The refs called a Viking player for the same thing when he was NOT in the neutral zone an it was on a FG that gave GB a first down an a TD later in the drive.
In my time as a Vikings fan the last time I remember when they were predicted to win no more than 7 games and destroyed that mark was 1998. Sammy D is a beast. KOC brought him in to do exactly what he's doing. Jets and Panthers suck! Kyle was the best thing to happen to Sam. Let him sit on the bench and collect his thoughts.
Talking Vikings defense, don't forget LB Blake Cashman. He's the straw the stirs Flores drink. The 2 games Minnesota lost? Cashman missed both because of injury. I'm not saying he's the only reason they win, but not only does he lead on the field, he also coaches teammates & makes sure everyone is in the right position on the field. KOC has changed the whole football culture at Winter Park.
national media is starting to push a 14-2 Lions team outside to the 5 seed. Lions missing their 5 best players on D. Cornerstones , Hutch, McNeil, Anzalone, Davis, Barnes, Davenport, Rodrigo , its endless. This is a short version of the injured.
Vikings and Vikings fans don't need to be picked to Win Super Bowl. We need so called experts to just observe and note strengths and weaknesses. The NFL coaches and NFL Refs are a problem. Coaches are one-trick ponies that forget to match game strategy with players strengths/weaknesses. NFL Refs need to call the Rule Book and let the NFL marketing department promote teams/players based upon skills not promote particular teams/players. NFL Refs need to figure out how to call Facemask penalties especially and stop giving KC Chiefs every advantage. It is blatant at this point. Let teams make their own destiny.
First big time game that means something that Darnold is playing in and it will be the Loudest game he’s ever been apart of. He’s throwing 2ints next week and the Lions are going to handle the Vikings.
My problem is Detroit has no Defense. They will be decimated. had they not lost 10 players on their Defense, most of which were starters, they would be the best team in the league, but 10 player are out. All these guys are replaced by players not good enough to be starters, and now backups not good enough to be backups. That game last night between the 9ers and Lions was pathetic. 49ers suck, yet they only punted once and missed 2 field goals. I'll give you that the 49ers also have no "D". Lions will not be able to put up the numbers against the Vikings they did against the 49ers. Could someone show me one team that has been able to do that against the Vikings? Only team to even come close was the Rams, and the Rams needed a fumble recovery caused by a HUGE face mask grab the referees never called. The game would have been a lot different otherwise, and Lions won with a last second field goal to win in a game our best defensive player, Cashman, was out. Now the Lions "D" is decimated. Defensive linebacker Cashman is our defensive QB, and he was out for both the Detroit and Rams game earlier. With him in the game the Vikings have not lost a game. With him healthy in the game the Vikings have not lost. Cashman eats up the middle underneath that allowed Goff and Stafford to feed off of. The Vikings are 100% healthy, I would not want to be any team meeting them.
Bro the Lions scored 21 straight points on the Vikings in their 1st meetings after the Vikes jumped out 10-0. They were driving for more points when Montgomery fumbled which led to a Vikes score which kept them in the game. Lions put up nearly 400 yds on the Vikes D in their building and when the Lions needed to drive down for the winning FG, they did it without issue.. Lions Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson will have more creative plays set for the Vikes. You can believe that. I'm interested to see how Darnold handles and pressure and massive crowd noise that will be deafening in Ford field. He has never played in a game this big before so we shall see what happens
@@klmbaby6 Crowd Noise, he beat the Seahawks and no stadium has the noise Seattle does at home. OH, and the Lions do NOT have a strong homefield advantage, they lost 2 home games already. Sorry, Defense wins playoff time, and this is one HUGE playoff game.
@@chuckness5372 Seahawks offense isn't as potent as Detroit's. We both know that. Again Darnold is not tested in these types of games so we don't know what he will do. Remember his 1st NFL pass as a rookie was a Pick 6 against the Lions @ Ford Field a few years ago
@@chuckness5372 we weren’t much healthier than this the first game… and we’ve since added Zadarius Smith… I believe Anzalone is back week 18 too… if so, the only player missing will be Davis(big loss definitely), but Branch(who terrorized y’all the first game) Joseph, Iffy, Campbell, Reeder, all are playing… and our offense is averaging about 36 ppg… The Vikings could def win, they’re just gonna have to score 40 pts to do so, and I haven’t seen them hit 30 once this year in the games I’ve watched… saw them score 12 on Jacksonville though 😳🫣😳😂 It’s gonna be a game of chicken, and my money say Darnold/KOC blinks before MCDC does… Looking forward to seeing what happens though
And then there’s the Lions, who want to play them and don’t give a damn about them. Vikings fans feel very cocky after the two weeks since media started taking about them. We’ve been down half the starters on defense, yet we don’t give a damn. We play to win no matter who’s on the field.
What hurt the Vikings more were the two missed kicks by Will the Thrill who obviously isn't completely healed. Typcically, he can nail 60 yarders with his usual leg strength.
Super Bowl teams right now at this point are going to win out the fewer games we have to play especially if it all goes through Minnesota I pity the other teams
Chris, there were some of us in MN , who were happy they signed Darnold for this year with the plan announced before the draft that they were going to draft a QB and he was going to sit for a year. Some of us felt Darnold would be as good as KC in this offense.
We are in a rebulding year lol😂. 6.5 wins was a joke. I picked 15-2 and sb before preseason started. I had a belief. Our defense improved. We have the beat offense around for a balanced attack. Say what you want, but this culture is about players, fans and winning for both
I grew up in Minnesota. Small when Fran Tarkington played. Two minutes Tommy Kramer. Moss. Carter Culpepper. Days. Of course Kirk Cousins. When the sports talk radio. The KFan radio just got the news last summer that Vikings took him They immediately trashed the decision. Sitting out in my backyard. I researched more about Sam. 1st round pick 🤷♂️. Still young. ?? Immediately posted wait a minute people now why would he suck. Look at who’s he got too throw too. 🤷♂️Now why would he suck. !!!! They Love him now. I wish I could show that post. Prove it😃😃
It’s funny to me how when the packers lose to good teams, they are still considered a good team. When the Vikings lose to good teams, they are called fakes. The Vikings have been a good team for a LONG time. This is just the first year in a long time that we have a were firing on all cylinders.
Yeah - that celebration around Darnold was genuine and its representative of the all in mentality that exists in Minny. KOC, Kwesi and the Wilf’s have built a team people want to be a part of - coaches, players and of course fans! Come all ye players that would like to be a part of the best organization top to bottom in the league. Vikes have a business plan - and it’s a damn good one! I’m a 60 + year Vikings fan. Seen it all. Played and coached the game. I really like what I’m seeing here.
It also highlights that Sam will definitely be back next season. Kwesi and KOC have been building that mentality from day 1. They are not going to risk destroying it by cutting the teams leader. What message would that send?
My dream is for the Vikings to beat the Bills in the Bowl and flood the streets of NO with purple. The cherry on top would be if Sean Payton was still there.
Dude, as a Vikings fan, please don't pander to these soft fans who are more focused on/concerned with winning the media popularity contest than they are on/about how fucking lucky we are to be experiencing this incredible season that has far and away exceeded all expectations. Those types of fans need to stop bitching about their team not getting enough attention & validation from the media. You know what other demographic is desperate for attention/validation & gets pissy when they don't receive it? Teenage girls. Grow up. Our team is having an insane season that nobody saw coming. Even if they get bounced in the first round, it will still have been a better season than 99% of you expected during the off-season. Stop with the bitching. It's embarrassing.

The one thing few are talking about is KOC turns good QBs into GREAT QBs. And, that's a fact, Jack!!!
HAVE YOU SKIEDPARK CITY BROTHER? I LIVE IN SALT LAKE AND HAVE FOR 60 YEARS. LOVE ALL OUR RESORTS SKIED EVERY ONE MANY MANY TIMES
As a Vikings fan I can 100% say I fully expected a 5 win season what they did this season is amazing
I Appreciate all the flowers you have given my team this year!! Can't Wait for Sunday Night & playoffs. This is going to be exciting. I knew we could be a playoff team this year but I didn't call 14-2. SKOL
I love this show.
We love you!
@@GreenLightPodcastyou do know Vikings only lost one to the lions. They only played them once. Unless you can see the future
Love your show! 50+ yr fan. Was only interested this yr to see a Kirkless Vikings team. I guess i got my answer.
Just finished the video and you said this lol
And let’s not forget KOC has already faced adversity and the QB position and found moderate success. He’s nothing to scoff at. Lock him up vikes
Vikings road to SB is insane!
As a Vikings fan the national media Jabroni storyline that sticks with me is ESPN predicting that we would have the Number 1 overall pick in the draft.
your plants need some love
Not sure what the pundits are watching but before the season I said Darnold would throw for 4500 yards and 40 tds. He’s at 4100 yards and 35 td’s. With how cousins, Mullens, and dobs played and the free agents and guys back from injury of course darnold put up numbers
Exactly. Sam was always going to be at least a near Cousins thrower, and vastly superior in the pocket, off schedule and as a rusher.
Even if you thought he would be good, there’s zero chance you predicted that he would have literally the best season in league history for a quarterback in his first year with a new team. I’m calling bs
@ I never said I predicted the wins and team success but the yards and tds was predictable
🤞🍀 Make it Happen !
KOC coached Vikings havent beaten the Lions since September 2022 and I don't expect that to change. Vikings are good, but they aren't good enough.
Well see Sunday 🎉
Skol vikings
One game at a time boys
Four wins away oh my
Luv you Sam darnold
Even the owners are saying it. We're 1-0 after this game. Next Sunday we'll have the chance to be 1-0 again.
If the 6/9 49ers can put 34 points on the lions defense, i wont be surprised if the Vikings outscores that injury ridden Lions team.
Division games tend to play differently. I hope you are correct tho I absolutely cannot stand the lions.
national media is starting to push a 14-2 Lions team outside to the 5 seed. Lions missing their 5 best players on D. Cornerstones , Hutch, McNeil, Anzalone, Davis, Barnes, Davenport, Rodrigo , its endless. This is a short version of the injured.
This why me as a lions fan never rock with any media that’s never been with us!🦁💪🏾🌎
Vikings and Vikings fans don't need to be picked to Win Super Bowl.
Are these Refs betting on games or are the bad calls coming from Goodell himself to make sure KC is in the Super Bowl again
That’s my team! SKOL to the Bowl
On tape our pass rush plan was horrible
nobody talks about how the vikings are gelling at the fucking right time...not to early not to late right on time
First big time game that means something that Darnold is playing in and it will be the Loudest game he’s ever been apart of. He’s throwing 2ints next week and the Lions are going to handle the Vikings.
No way! Lions have some disappointment coming.
@@klmbaby6 But their defense it 1000% better than the Lions, and so he was tested.
@@chuckness5372 we weren’t much healthier than this the first game… and we’ve since added Zadarius Smith… I believe Anzalone is back week 18 too… if so, the only player missing will be Davis(big loss definitely), but Branch(who terrorized y’all the first game) Joseph, Iffy, Campbell, Reeder, all are playing… and our offense is averaging about 36 ppg… The Vikings could def win, they’re just gonna have to score 40 pts to do so, and I haven’t seen them hit 30 once this year in the games I’ve watched… saw them score 12 on Jacksonville though 😳🫣😳😂
It’s gonna be a game of chicken, and my money say Darnold/KOC blinks before MCDC does… Looking forward to seeing what happens though
And then there’s the Lions, who want to play them and don’t give a damn about them. Vikings fans feel very cocky after the two weeks since media started taking about them. We’ve been down half the starters on defense, yet we don’t give a damn. We play to win no matter who’s on the field.
Lions and the lions fanbase been cocky buddy
Skol Go Vikings 🙆♀️
And we’re 100% healthy
What hurt the Vikings more were the two missed kicks by Will the Thrill who obviously isn't completely healed. Typcically, he can nail 60 yarders with his usual leg strength.
Super Bowl teams right now at this point are going to win out the fewer games we have to play especially if it all goes through Minnesota I pity the other teams
Chris, there were some of us in MN , who were happy they signed Darnold for this year with the plan announced before the draft that they were going to draft a QB and he was going to sit for a year. Some of us felt Darnold would be as good as KC in this offense.
SKOL TO THE BOEL BABAY!!
Best POD in the world and it's not even close. Also, FUCKING SKOL!
We are in a rebulding year lol😂. 6.5 wins was a joke. I picked 15-2 and sb before preseason started. I had a belief. Our defense improved. We have the beat offense around for a balanced attack. Say what you want, but this culture is about players, fans and winning for both
Just some autocorrect fixes
Prove it😃😃
Philadelphia you don't want to play ! Detroit IS INFIRST PLACE !
Well we don't have to worry because they are not getting the 1 seed.
The Eagles were not untracked when they played the Pack.
I like how he said "dont worry this is about get sorted out"
This is true. Vikings will make a statement and humble the media wack jobs.
Too bad Jaire couldn’t be there to see his dad win that game. I heard Jetta dropped him off at daycare for the game.
the lions should of gotten a big ass penalty on hitting patric jones low that would of changed the game big time!!!
Chris,I hate to say you’re wrong, but we call Cousins a bust.
Yall keep gassing the Vikings but keep this energy after Sunday night
Y'all are forgetting about 30 years of failure and crumbling under their own success. That or dirty as Saints late hit a 44 year old QB for an hour.
My dream is for the Vikings to beat the Bills in the Bowl and flood the streets of NO with purple. The cherry on top would be if Sean Payton was still there.
Just to set the record straight we were calling for Sam and send cousins packing
Gonna suck for lions fans when the owners jacks the price of tickets next Sunday… no more 87 dollar seats.
Karl brooks played great but everyone else besides cooper was crickets..nobody won the 1v1s
Why is it that this shit never happens in a RICH man's neighborhood!???
James Madison U.👍
PREACH! SKOL BABY!!!!!!!
Holding on sean rhyan that negated jacobs td sucked..sean rhyan pancakes the guy. We scored 1 minute later..but thats 1 minute off the clock.
I am going to hold my breath. I will not cheer intil It's over. my stomach rolls just thinking about it!!!
Only talk show worth listening to. The rest of the talking heads just cant be anything but biased.
9:06I HAD A GAY MANAGER ONE TIME AT CHIK-F-LA, SOY ANNOYING
I never called Darnold a bust. Far too long the nfl keeps awarding shit organizations with top picks and it ruins careers of talented players.
It's called "league parity!" And it seems to be kinda working! Just not enough quality kids coming up to support all the teams in the NFL these days!
The Vikings are going to win the Super Bowl
B flo ??? 😅😅😅
Do not believe the 6.5 games the Vikings were predicted to win this year has anything to fo with it. It's the constantly being disrespected for years and years. We all can see. We know what we see. And we know our team, Sam Darnold etc., look GREAT!!!
14-2 is no fluke. To even suggest that it is is LAUGHABLE!!! Denial is a safe place.
Darnold 14-2
Love 9-5
Green Bay is better?
Bwahahahaha hahahaha....
Sweeeeeeeeeeep!

You do know Vikings only lost once to the lions
