What an exciting time. I grew up with an Atari and little blocks pretending to be object. I always wondered when we would reach the point of photorealism in games. This shows how close we actually are. Kudos to the geniuses that have literally created alternate realities and pioneers whos shoulders we stood on to get there.

This demo probably uses that RTX cores thingy for real-time photon displacement thus invaliding the logical structure and reinterpreting it as a fictitious account of real events that serve as a metaphorical expression

Absolutely the best video game graphics I've ever seen.
Man CDPR truly managed to make a futuristic game that turned into a great playground for modders, it honestly looks better for virtual car photography than gran turismo, assetto corsa & forza horizon ever managed to be XD, i mean ofc not gran turismo since they use virtual staging for photo mode (which can't be beat in terms of realism since it's literally irl)

The amount of work CDPR has put into every single asset in this game is astonishing! I was more impressed by the models and textures than by the lighting itself. "The Glen" portion of the video really shows that.

@@a2raya772 imagine saying that "not even the best looking game" is somehow something negative. You cant deny that this is one of the best looking and immersive games we have gotten recently. There are very few games who have made me stop and just look at the world around me and make me happy to be able to experience games like this. Other games that did this for me were games like elden ring, rdr2 and botw/totk.
And how is the game "meh". The story, the combat, the immersion, the side quests, the music are all great.
But after all games are subjective, i would just like to hear ur reasoning behind the "meh" claim

I run it on max with PT its just all lighting. The city and npc still dead af and doesn't even beat GTA 5. The best looking game actually are avatar and Alan wake 2
when did i say that cyberpunk is the best looking game? If you were to actually read my comment you would first of all realize that im not at all triggered, you would also realize that i said its "one of" the best looking games. I would also like to say it again, graphics are subjective. The style and art direction of the game is much more important than how many pixels make up that tree over there. Just because the textures and models are higher resolution/has better fidelity doesnt automatically make them better. Thats why i mentioned elden ring and botw. As dunkey said "its like stepping into a painting", it may not have the highest resolution graphics, but it sure is a beautiful game. @@a2raya772

In the last such video a while ago you could see a lot of ghosting, e.g. on the speedometer, what changed? Did the RR get better? Or did you turn it off which would be surprising considering the quality of the reflections.
Edit: I mean the video where you start with a pagani. The counter of the lamborghini ghosts a lot. Ray reconstruction is known for its terrible ghosting, did they fix it or did you tweak something?
I changed the DLSS model and made custom corrections to the materials used in the mods. I’m happy you noticed, that means the work was worth it!

I found your video first when researching about the RTX series. I want to get an RTX myself. I just looked for something to justify the price markup compared to the pure power/buck AMD cards. You can tell that the RTX 4 series has something to offer that the others won't achieve ever soon. I hope they'll release games with such impressive graphics soon.

I really like the fact that when you drive in 1st person, the camera has a depth of view so interiors are blured while you look on the road and when you look at the interior, the view outside the car is blured. However, it would need some tweeking. Anyway intersting video. Although I'm not fan of those colours. Looks bland.

Which mod are you using for the FOV in driving and the background depth of field shift effect that, while driving, blurs the car dashboard and focuses on the street? That's not in the vanilla game!

if you dont have such a good computer to playing 8k resolution don't try to these mods cause your game cant looks so realistic in 1440p resolution
@@barisondutyThat's an outright lie. Also, there are no 8k monitors, and if there were, it would be completely useless due to diminishing returns with clarity. 8k only works if you have a large format display in the 55"+ range. On top of the fact that it would need to be at least 8ft or closer to your eyes, which is not exactly comfortable. 1440p is great for this type of stuff, and SSing to 4k can bring in some great results that you can actually see on a 24"-36" display.
Also, CP2077 runs great on med-range hardware like the 3070 and 3080 at max settings. Although you would need a 4070 or better to take advantage of all the new tech like DLSS3, OFA, and the 4th gen tensor cores that are far better at AI processing.

I tried these mods but my game doesn't look like this in 4K max settings + PT and RR, maybe I needed reshade too, I don't like to use reshade, dropping my fps.
What do you mean with Nova LUT full version? LUT only, pure / pure v2, or ENV path traced, raster? Which one is 'full version'?

They probably mean the main version, which is Nova LUT(not pure). Though I wouldn't be surprised if they swap to pure v2 soon enough, it looks even better than the main Nova LUT.
