i didnt know about this ending cause i killed Menendez the first time and then when I replayed the campaign I made sure to capture him just to get that scene
I love the storytelling and dialogue in the first two Black Ops games, the storyline aspect is well beyond the level of quality that COD campaigns usually offer. It's compelling, it's personal, it feels like an actual story with actual people as characters.

So, we now have a canon ending. Mason died. So did Hudson. Woods is in a wheelchair. Next Black Ops is supposed to be a direct sequel to black ops 2. Taking place during the mid to late 90's and maybe covering 9/11. We don't have confirmation yet but round based zombies is back and I am stoked. Wish OG voice actor for woods was back. The new guy is great, but they really screwed Woods OG VA over by just not calling him. I guess that's the business though...
