Great sound and voices fantastic performance i hope you explain the chant and its origins its about connecting with the audience they wont know its importance nor relevance i feel the poi's would add more to your otherwise wonderful performance. You are wonderful ambassators for New Zealand.i found when i was overseas the music poi's and the haka immediately grabbed peoples attention and opened up doors. The pois can be used just as effectively for english songs and are even more spectacular if performed lighted at night time.We used to do that with our culture group people loved it.

the chant is called a moteatea, it is used in New Zealand culture to acknowledge those who have come before us.

It's a choir, not a cultural performance group. I agree that poi are mesmerizing but that is not what the focal point is here. The connection with the audience can only be made through the voice and of course the spirit.
