Fuck sakes, Marcus King has the best voice of his generation if you ask me. And he’s an incredible guitarist and songwriter to boot. Why he’s not the biggest artist in music right now is beyond me, people always go on about the “good ol’ days” but I challenge anybody to present me with a better singer/guitarist. There’s other people on that level, of course, but vocally I’d put him right up there with Hathaway, Redding and Gaye as one of the greatest soul singers I’ve ever heard. This guy has a future! So excited to see it happen

Thank you for choosing Marcus and his band for one of your videos. Marcus happens to be my cousin. My grandfather and his great grandmother were siblings. An interesting fact you may not be aware of is he is playing his grandfather's guitar (or it's a prototype of the signature model Gibson is planning). The guitar was passed down from Bill (grandfather) to Marvin (dad) to Marcus.
Well do me a huge favor and tell Marcus that I absolutely love his music and my brother learned to play listening to Derek Trucks and plays just like him. He turned me onto Marcus and we both adore his music. He is simply amazing.
He has a solo album dropping w/ collab from Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys. Saw Marcus with his band recently and I don’t know if I’ll see someone with as much soul ever again.

That is why I would love to see you break away from the pack and throw down the gauntlet. You have to do a review of a five-piece Japanese hard rock band called Band Maid. Start off with the song Thrill, the official video for that is best. Then anything live by them. You will not be disappointed !
