    I had no idea! Just beginning to educate myself about canoes. I thought a paddle was a paddle! Thanks!

    I like when a paddle maker says he's driving slow because he's always watching trees 😀

    I like how he showed a lot of shorter paddles, often a longer paddle is taken, I really enjoy a shorter paddle. One piece paddles are fine tools that hold up to the outdoors.

    Really enjoying my Badger paddle in Sassafras, it’s feather light and super pliable. Oh and FUN!

    I do love my traditional one piece beaver tail. While I own a Bending Branches Expedition Plus for the tough stuff...no paddle I own is as close to my heart as my hand made one piece beavertail. Mine is about 8 years old now... just a baby compared to several I have inherited from my father and his family.

    Great video. I can't wait to pick up a couple of paddles when we pick up our new swift canoe.

    I have two of these paddles now! La Bonga made a huge and dramatic difference for me on the low water Tim River in June 2021. Surprised you didn't mention the custom logo option that you offer too!

    Awesome video. I have been wanting to upgrade to a nicer looking custom and these paddles are beautiful. The sock is a very smart idea

    Ooh walnut is pretty. Not seeing those on the Swift site though.

    Just started searching online for a paddle sock, when you jogged my memory - having a lot of trouble finding them! Where would you look if you were me? (in Toronto, but travel north in summer.)

    What is the model name of the intermediate otter tail paddle, the one that is quiet? That seems ideal for a bird watching paddler...

    • @SwiftCanoeKayak
      @SwiftCanoeKayak  2 года назад +1

      the intermediate size is the Tripper. The Sliver is the skinniest, and the Badger Tail is the largest/widest.

    What was the name of that last otter tail with modified north woods grip?

      The Woodland.

    That's funny, Mike, you say "all the paddles you see, here are available on line". I went to every retailer on the Badger site, I could not find any of your paddles in walnut. Just sayin'.

      I think Badger produce far less Walnut paddles so they are often out of stock. Cherry is by far their best seller, and it's what most smaller retailers stock.

    I would love to come to that showroom and pick a beautiful paddle off the rack. You're just too far away.
