It's so weird how she needs lessons on how to act more human when the day before she was still human.
it's because now she doesn need to blink or breath but when she was human it came naturally but it's weird lol
Kylena Clevenger mental health and life issues etc. I'm pretty sure she was dead for three days before waking up as a vampire (I haven't read the books in a couple of years so sorry if I'm wrong hehe)

That Bella Cullen needs Lessons on how to be human she does not want her father Carlie to find out that she is a Vampire not human no more
It seems weird, but it actually makes a lot of sense! She never needed to think about breathing and blinking when she was still human, because those are normal functions that a human body does naturally without any conscious thought about it. As a vampire she no longer needs to blink or breathe, and it really does stand out if you no longer do something you have always done all your life! The transformation from human to vampire effected her down to every last cell in her body, so it’s not a surprise that she would need to learn the tips and tricks on how to play a convincing normal human!

Notice they told her, "to hold your breath" and" move your shoulders so it looks like you're breathing." Does this suggest, vampires do breathe, but without any physical signs that they are? Furthermore, watch the scene after this when her Dad gets there. You will see that she ignores everything they said here with one exception: she moves very slowly.
I'm pretty sure in the book, that Edward explained to Bella that vampires like to breathe even though they don't have to.
I looked it up and everything to make sure:
"After the change, vampires' physical appearance and muscle mass is enhanced and perfected, eye color changes, and they no longer need to breathe, though they often still do so out of habit, and feel uncomfortable without their sense of smell-the first warning of an impending threat or the smell of potential prey."
