Agree about the looks, but there is only so much you can do with wedge low profile shape. Prefer the smoother lines of the Diablo and Murcielago. Pretty smart car though. How have you found your own Lambo experience, Doug? Maybe you could do an update video on what you have discovered or got out of the dream car. 👍
When looking at the outside of the car I have to remind myself that its a Lamborghini. To me, it looks like a Lamborghini and a McLaren got together and this was born.
My thoughts exactly. The McLarens have such a distinctive look. It’s surprising that Lamborghini would go for a design that is so similar, especially at the front.
@@jagpilotohio So I'm not the only one who thinks the C8 is very generic looking. A lot of cars are going for that aggressive look, but they all end up looking very similar.
It was a video just like this one with a white Lamborghini Huracan Performante 6 years ago from Doug that intoduced me to this channel and sparked my first real dream car. 6 years does not seem like that long ago but it was that video alongside Stradman buying his first lambo and watching Vehicle virgins in high school that started my obsession with cars. Not sure who cares but even as I have watched hundreds of dougs videos and bought my first porsche (2002 Boxter) this video brought back a huge amount of nostalgia
Lamborghini is a victim of its own genius. The Aventador replacement is just it's evolution in terms of design. That 12 year old project still sold in 2023 so the folks in germany were too afraid of their business going wrong to put a radically new car into production. The DCT is surely the biggest upside of it all. It's just a more refined Aventador with an expensive bodykit. All that being said I still love it!
Yeah I'm glad they stuck with a design and style that just works and didn't create anything wild and off brand from what we all like about Lamborghini.
They need to do this. If they want to develop a completely new car/chassis, they will be subject to the most recent emissions and safety standards. It'd probably need to be a twin turbo V8 at minimum, and would be much heavier. That is assuming it gets the green light for design/production at all.
I like to think that there is a lot of people watching Doug review their car and finding out things they didn’t know about the car. Also congrats on owning one of these, enjoy it in good health.
I mean you called it Doug, it looks like Aventador V2. I appreciate all the creecher comforts, and the driver assists, but it totally takes the rawness away. A straight piped Aventador is beyond crazy, I honestly don't know how similar the V12 from the Revuelto is compared to the Aventador but I'm willing to bet that they're pretty similar, you'll get some of the rawness back by adding a titanium exhaust. I'm also willing to bet that there's going to be aftermarket support for that battery for the hybrid system and you'll be able to extend that range hopefully to at least the 20 mi mark.
Thanks Doug! This is by far the best Revuelto review I have seen. I wish they color-matched the rear bumper/diffuser to the body though. Also the black side intakes distract in black. I would love to see the car 100% color matched.
They should have made the turn signal buttons metal with engraved labels as those are going to be high traffic buttons and so as not to wear the painted buttons aluminum would hold up longer.

Doug said that all lambos look totally different.... idk about that lol. Starting from the Countach to the Diablo, they all look like evolutions of the previous model. The Miura is the only one I can say is truly different.
Just realized something else - at 17:55, the easter egg about the bull head, if you positioned your camera from the rear to the brake light, including the exhausts, it would make the exhausts appear as the Angry bull's nostrils and when the engine is turned on, it would look like a smoking bull. Just something to ponder upon.
When Aventador first came out, it was one of the most radical looking cars on the road. Like a fighter jet for the road. Lamborghini has seemed to turn it down a bit with the Revuelto and make it more elegant instead of striking :)
This thing is pretty badass. It def is giving out some corvette vibes but not when it revs. I can’t believe they didn’t paint the engine cover red, seems weird. Love the their brake light.

I like the Adventador SV the most. I think it started when I saw one in person and scince then I love it. I think people don’t talk about it because the discussion is centered around the SVJ but the SV is my Favorite.
"Should the new car be a V12 or hybrid, sir?" "Yes." Wow, I never thought about a V12 PHEV. I guess that's why I get paid the medium bucks.
The 2016 Aventador SV is still my all time favourite Lambo.
And a corvette. Those side vents are very C8
How does it look like a McLaren? McLarens are smooth and sleek, this isn't lol
I saw that and thought it looked familiar, like what you noted, and then thought it kind of looked like a knockoff market McLaren Senna.
@@jagpilotohio So I'm not the only one who thinks the C8 is very generic looking. A lot of cars are going for that aggressive look, but they all end up looking very similar.
Doug is the type of guy to call customer support just to ask how their day is going.
He is just so thoughtful. I'm sure the customer service reps just love getting those calls.
This one actually made me lol!😂
V12 wouldn't have happened in Revuelto if Lamborghini didn't fight VW board directors.
Except the design was made in Italy by Italians, you clown
They need to do this. If they want to develop a completely new car/chassis, they will be subject to the most recent emissions and safety standards. It'd probably need to be a twin turbo V8 at minimum, and would be much heavier. That is assuming it gets the green light for design/production at all.
The aventador deisgn was much purer and timeless, in my opinion
At this price point you really shouldn’t have to touch crappy plastic
All the best to everyone
lol nab
at this price point I am hoping Lambo includes $800k cash in the trunk

I honestly don’t like anything about this car. Complete downgrade from an Aventador IMO
@@itssslashhere5245 yeah he does. His car was in the car wow drag race Vs SF 90. That also was his
I mean you called it Doug, it looks like Aventador V2.
The stitching on the ceiling immediately made me think of those holes above the engine on the Sesto Elemento. Probably not a coincidence?

Thanks Doug! This is by far the best Revuelto review I have seen. I wish they color-matched the rear bumper/diffuser to the body though. Also the black side intakes distract in black. I would love to see the car 100% color matched.
They should have made the turn signal buttons metal with engraved labels as those are going to be high traffic buttons and so as not to wear the painted buttons aluminum would hold up longer.
I remember how Doug was saying he is like 6'1 in the past. Now he says 6'4. They grow up so fast!
people joke, but I used to say the same because I was going by the measurement I got when I was 17. Everywhere once your an adult , just asks and trusts you to know. Doug said that all lambos look totally different.... idk about that lol. Starting from the Countach to the Diablo, they all look like evolutions of the previous model. The Miura is the only one I can say is truly different.
Revuelto also means like mixed up or mixed together... so their probably insinuating that they got design ideas from every car.

Just realized something else - at 17:55, the easter egg about the bull head, if you positioned your camera from the rear to the brake light, including the exhausts, it would make the exhausts appear as the Angry bull's nostrils and when the engine is turned on, it would look like a smoking bull. Comparing the Revuelto to the Aventedaor, “you lose a little bit of though I’m going to die factor” 😂😂
When Aventador first came out, it was one of the most radical looking cars on the road. Like a fighter jet for the road. Lamborghini has seemed to turn it down a bit with the Revuelto and make it more elegant instead of striking :)
Every time the Aventador shifts gears in anger you think you're going to die or fly off the road or bounce of the headliner.
