I'm watching this well after I've been using the latest Xcode...and your video is still helpful! Instead of taking time to understand what the heck Xcode is doing, I simply plow through. Finally, now I understand! Thank you!
Thank you for this introduction to Xcode 16. Interesting Predictive Code Completion, it seems more like a promise for the future than really useful at this point. The new file creating options, as well as the other improvements you highlighted are really useful.
Terrific video (as we've come to expect ;) )! Is there a public repo for this one? It would be nice to be able to copy the comment blocks since I see they work as prompts for the predictive code completion.
I love the add a new file by dragging and dropping, but I was wondering... I watched your video about changing my template header for when I add a new file. Can that template header include the standard imports like SwiftUI, SwiftData, Foundation, UIKit? That would be so helpful. Also, if that is possible, would it be wrong to add all of those at once even though you may only need one of them.
Thank you for the great video. How is Xcode 16 behaving with you in playground? I find it awful and needs to be restarted all the time especially in playground that has multiple pages. I tried 1. to switch document platform to macOS instead of iOS 2. Execute Manually instead of automatic 3 Delete DerivedData Do you have a similar issues and if so I hope you can help 🙏🏼

fantastic, thanks as always Stewart, you're a star. I'm already loving that predictive code feature.
Great video using Xcode 16.1 with recent update to predictive coding which is getting better.
I still find it distracting

Valeu!
Stewart Lynch knowledge drops are so great. Complete, full of great, practical advice. Thanks a ton & keep at it!
Coming from you, that is a real compliment. Thanks John. I appreciate that
Thank you as always Stuart! Very helpful! I'm excited for my company to adopt Xcode 16 to get to use this in my day to day coding.
Just installed 16. Psyched! Thanks for yet another great video
Excellent… thank you so much Stewart 💯
Great video. I like how you explain things. Please make more videos about the new things in swift and Xcode
Check out my latest playlist. it is all about what is new

Thanks for watching!
Thank you very much Stewart.
Thanks Stewart 👏
Thanks a lot🤗
Strange that the Apple doesn’t do system images and licalized strings as Enums. It will be very useful.

No repo for this one unfortunately. I was more or less just winging it.

No. I wouldn’t try that as this template is for ALL files and you wouldn’t want common imports for every file.
Excellent. Thanks!!!
You're welcome!n
Thank you for the great video.

I haven't really noticed any serious issues

I turned off predictive code completion. Its guesses were more annoying than helpful.
Extremely helpful. Thank you!
