- Apple introduced a new MeshGradient view for iOS 18/MacOS 15 so I created an app that will allow you to play around visually creating the MeshGradient view and either save the code to use in your own projects or download a desktop image based on your creation.
You can download the free app from here.
*** NOTE: Requires MacOS 15 (Sequoia) or later
(If you are having problems downloading zip files, use Safari. Chrome restricts zip files by default)

It would be appreciated if you could create some macOS apps development series as well..
Many thanks ♥️
Yesss. I need this
You're doing incredible work 💪🏻
Stewart why don't you add your custom classes and extensions to a Swift Package? easier to manage, love your content!
I could do that. This was just an experiment.
I like the idea of the app, but I’m reluctant to install 2 extensions.
That is your choice. You can use it to design desktop wallpapers though. In an upcoming video I go in to more detail so you will see how it all works.
Neat little app!
Amazing 🔥💯
Thanks
Great! Now how does this app work?
It is SwiftUI
I downloaded as an image and it looks different from what I designed in the app.
The image is always scaled to be a desktop image so the dimensions will likely be different from what you designed. Remember the coordinates are always from 0…1 both horizontal and vertical so the image will look different depending on the dimensions
