This is not a discredit to Kalel or Donovan, but the RB room moving forward is as good as it's looked in a long time. The RB room is full of just that; running backs. As big of runs as Kalel had, there were so many times that opportunities were missed because his instincts weren't as clear as someone who has played the position solely for a long time. And we obviously know about the monumental plays that Don-o had over the years, but it just never came to a completed product. Now you have high upside somewhat proven talent, upcoming stud, and a RB room workaholic (Haynes, Marshall, Hall)...not in any particular order. Just saying, looking forward to see how it all shakes out
I had forgotten how everyone was more excited for Dontrelle Willis verses the eventual HOF Miguel Cabrera, but I do remember Tiger fans were DESPERATE for good pitching.
Get well soon. Hall is not the answer for short yardage. Marshall completely dominated the Bama game as far as RB goes. Hall got plenty of carries to show what he can do. He was not good. You also completely undersold how incredible Marshall played against a very tough Alabama defense. He went over 100 yards by grinding out tough runs. He earned the MVP trophy. I’m excited about Haynes and how well he and Marshall will team up.
Hall is a good player, he got a few live reps his freshman year and I remember he surprised a lot of Michigan fans. Problem is his weight, he needs to lose 15-20 pounds because he’s way too slow now.
@@jackpackage4278did you watch the games that he’s played in? Much of that is difficult to view/grade him fairly, as he didn’t play much. But he got to play a lot against Alabama and he averaged less than 2 yards per carry. 16 carries for 28 yards is the exact opposite of good. The guy who was obviously far superior to him was only a freshman, Marshall who ran the ball in a very Mullings like fashion. They’re running the same plays, with the same personnel, against the same defense.
Anyone else just think Ben hall is not good at all? Yeah he showed out in a spring game once but that’s not impressive. In games he has been awful. No ball carrier vision or burst. He just runs right into the offensive line each and every time. I don’t get the hype around him.
I think he carries bad weight and it works against his running style. He's not a power back. When he's good it's vison and cuts not running over people.
This comment doesn’t make any sense…he isn’t good when he was stuck behind very good talent waiting his turn ..at least wait till he gets a chance to really show what he can do or can’t do then judge!🇯🇲
Michigan still needs to find that designated power back because the body builds of most of these guys are shorter then you need for that specific key role.... follow the mold. 6' 2" - 6' 3" 240 lb. - 255 lb. He is your situational wrecking ball for 1/3 down and red zone scenarios. They don't have that; they have backfield runners, and that's fine, but they need that one guy like Khalil Mullins. They do that - it's on.
@slinkingslug Not at all, maybe you don't understand the purpose of the powerback - I played the game and I'm telling you, it doesn't anywhere, height is your friend everywhere. Height + weight = force The only plays that works organically with smaller backs is running the back out of the backfield... And you love seeing them exploit holes. But the way these defenses are designed today. You just don't see many of them. So they have had to introduce more tricoration outside blittzes, exploiting the B And C gaps instead of the A gapblitzed, The power back is s EC. Novation, you have offensive coordinators like chip. Lindsay, that understand what it's about like. Sherrone Moore, who understand what's it? What it's about. The power back is about ISOing the corner predominantly, and like I said, is the wrecking ball for 3rd down and red zone situations. When you have those elements together, the defense is sizing that up.... A power back in the slot? Your regular back in the backfield. Your insight tied in which is your blocking TE the FB position And then you're catching TE as your receiver. The reason why this setup is successful. is because it's a simple, do the math scenario

Isaiah, you should try the sauna. It really helps me not get sick, or get over sickness. I go in for 15 mins after every workout.
Praise Jesus for the fast healing! Happy to have you back at almost 100% now!

You sound so much better! Hope you’re feeling better!
It’s gonna be a GREAT season 💯🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻💛💙🏈
How so? What will record be? I thinking 9 and 3 or 10 and 2 just outside the playoffs

10-2 will get you in.
Speaking of Desoto, they have a rb in 27, so tough
I had forgotten how everyone was more excited for Dontrelle Willis verses the eventual HOF Miguel Cabrera, but I do remember Tiger fans were DESPERATE for good pitching.
It hurt me you didn't list DeMatha
I hope we can pull both those Oline men that just left ND. It'll help our run game tremendously.
I'm glad that you're feeling better.

@@markchester7132 I’m just saying we’ve seen him before he got so big and he showed promise. Losing weight I think would help him a lot.
Bryce is a day 1 starter

Yeah I’d imagine he’s 3rd on the depth chart behind Haynes and Marshall. Not a starter in my opinion

GREAT Assessment of him .

I bet he has a 100 yd game this year.
Hey Isaiah, I am in Ann Arbor if you need someone to look into your computer issue. I work in IT.
The Running Backs are only going to be as good as the Oline that's the key the development of the Oline.

Benjamin Hall is that guy. 5’11” 235 lbs. Can get that 2-3 carries per game needed.
@jinorimo6090 He's no joke and he is effective, but it's better if they're over 6'
