Hi Tammy did they take out your pancreas and spleen? I’m scared. Reading that you are alive helps. What do you attribute to your success? Did you take natural supplements? Thank you.

I was a stage 1 with a T1NO total resection and clean margins. Then 8 months later I had a recurrence that had metastasis to my abdominal wall and surrounding arteries. I had chemotherapy and radiation.

IPMN stands for intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm. It is a type of precancerous growth or tumor that develops in the pancreatic ducts, which are the tubes that carry digestive enzymes from the pancreas to the small intestine.
IPMN tumors are characterized by the growth of abnormal cells that form papillary projections, or finger-like growths, into the ducts. These growths can sometimes become cancerous over time and develop into pancreatic cancer.
IPMN tumors are usually discovered during imaging studies such as an MRI, CT scan, or endoscopic ultrasound, which may be ordered if a person is experiencing symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting. Treatment for IPMN may involve surgery to remove the growth, particularly if it is cancerous or has a high risk of becoming cancerous. Close monitoring may also be recommended for non-cancerous or low-risk tumors. ..you need to take it out but its benign
