Many of you asking about brand. My friends as of any brand look for “Filiz cay” version which is the young baby leaves of tea that gives better aroma and taste. As a brand the bestknown is Caykur ☺️🙋🏻

Any loose tea leaves will do the job. Even better if you can find from Cylon tea from Siri Lanka. I'll give you little secret. Throw few cloves in to top pot. It will taste much much better.😊😊😊
I visit Trukey twice every year. Everything in Turkey are so pure and relaxing. I have learned some turkish word and one of them is açik çay lütfan. Türkiye'yi seviyorum, orada olduğumda kendimi evimde hissediyorum. Looking forward to come this year too. I have canceled my booking because of coronavirus.
Thank you! ... As i read your post i see word Lutfen! Oh how I remember using this as a child & young teen living in Turkey..Please! I am Amercan but lived 3years in Ankara; 10 thru 13 yrs old. Such WONDERFUL memories.
I make Türk çay often. I bought glasses and the same "favorite" tea plates that you like. I got used to them when visiting İstanbul in 2019. I felt so "at home" Türkiye'de. I discovered it by means of the Turkish dizis, but learned much more about the history, culture, cuisine and language by separate study. Türk çaya seviyorum!
Where are you from? Not knowing where you from but here in the us on netflix there is a turkish series called the gift.. i love watching it. Its mysterious...! 😊 but when you make tea , make sure you put boiled water on the pot on top first then wait 30 seconds then put loose tea on it to get the best results. Otherwise your tea will loose its original taste and smell
Hi friend! I watch Turkish novelas here in the USA, translated to Spanish. I’m LOVING THEM. So, I bought a cezve to make my Turkish coffee and I bought the best coffee you guys drink in Turkey. I also bought a beautiful set of cups. I LOVE LOVE Turkish coffee and I have to drink it every afternoon. I watched many videos until I found the best way to make the Turkish coffee. I watched a video from a Turkish lady who used to work at a hotel making coffee for the guests, so she KNOWS how to make coffee real good. I said it’s the best because when I made it from the other videos, I didn’t like the taste. Now I like it so much I have to drink it every day. I make it and drink it without sugar. My husband is Cuban amd he likes his Cuban espresso. I find the Turkish coffee is stronger and I like the taste better. I also bought a tea kettle, Turkish tea and clear cups, just like yours. I was going to buy the double boiler, but I changed my mind because I didn’t think it was too important. Now I’m seeing how you make it. And I’m going to buy me a double boiler. I haven’t made coffee yet, but the instructions are on the can. Could you please tell me the name of the best Turkish tea? So I can buy it. I like the real things because they taste better. I love all the recipes of the foods you have for breakfast. How can all you people be so thin? I want to be thin like that. I have subscribed to your channel and liked your video. I’ll be coming back for more recipes. I want to eat and learn how to make Turkish foods. One day soon, I’d love to visit Turkey, especially Cappadocia. Thank you! Nice meeting you! 💝🌹

we have been in Turkey for the last 3 months and we love the Turkish tea. My first encounter with Turkish tea was comical. I was on a school trip and was visiting one of my professors' families. After diner we were given tea, I was eager not to offend and drank what was given to me, even though as an 18 year old American boy in 2006 tea was not something I was used to or enjoyed. As the night went on I continued to drink, and drink, and drink. All in all I had consumed 24 glasses of tea (not an exaggeration I wrote it down in my travel journal that night) before our hostess commented on how much I must like tea. I finally explained that I just didn't know how to politely refuse. I was given quick lesson in etiquette from our laughing hosts after that. The really funny bit though was by the time we were visiting Antalya, 3 weeks later, there was a story of an overly polite foreigner who didn't know how to say "no" to tea going around. It was fun to see people's reaction when they learned that it was a true story and I was that foreigner. Note: I know that this has probably happened to several people. It was just amusing that I ended up living out what was thought an urban legend.
Hello Frank, that is an interesting story . I never thought something like that would happen. We always intend to refresh the glass as a generosity or our guest would want to drink more. And yes always a guest has to say that it is enough and we insist one more time that we have fresh tea if you want you can drink more :) It is always like that. And looks like this made you drink 24 glass you just couldn't refuse. I wonder how big was their teapot or how many of them they had it ready to serve that much :))

The difference is we put less tea leaves. I loved turkey ppl use the same drink n loved the glass they use to drink the tea.. Love you turkey from India ❣️❣️

We in India are also tea enthusiasts. We drink different kinds of tea where the brewing time differs based on the kind of leaves you use. However, I have tried Turkish tea at home in exactly tumblers shown by you and had enjoyed a lot . The fun is you get to see the beautiful colour as you sip it.

Türkiye'yi seviyorum, orada olduğumda kendimi evimde hissediyorum. Looking forward to come this year too. I have canceled my booking because of coronavirus.
I wish to visit turkey atleast once
Same here. We were supposed to go to turkey but had to cancell due to Corona. insha'Allah will visit soon when the lockdown is lifted.
Where do you stay during both of your visits?
Thank you! ... As i read your post i see word Lutfen! Oh how I remember using this as a child & young teen living in Turkey..Please! I am Amercan but lived 3years in Ankara; 10 thru 13 yrs old. Such WONDERFUL memories.
@@sarasanic Antalya and Alanya, have been in Konya and İstanbul too but for few days.
Afiyet olsun 😅
Hi friend! I watch Turkish novelas here in the USA, translated to Spanish. I’m LOVING THEM. So, I bought a cezve to make my Turkish coffee and I bought the best coffee you guys drink in Turkey. I also bought a beautiful set of cups. I
LOVE LOVE Turkish coffee and I have to drink it every afternoon.

I tried it at this Turkish restaurant and I fell in love. Turkish food is amazing
My love for turkey is literally comes from the Turkish series.. I love you can and demet..
Note:
I know that this has probably happened to several people. It was just amusing that I ended up living out what was thought an urban legend.
hahaha :)))) geçmiş olsun
Hello Frank, that is an interesting story . I never thought something like that would happen. We always intend to refresh the glass as a generosity or our guest would want to drink more. And yes always a guest has to say that it is enough and we insist one more time that we have fresh tea if you want you can drink more :) It is always like that. And looks like this made you drink 24 glass you just couldn't refuse. I wonder how big was their teapot or how many of them they had it ready to serve that much :))
You must have visited the bathroom all night :D
how didnt you die from over dose of caffein?
I was 17 when I went to Istanbul on a school trip and had my first cay :)
