    Could you leave a link to the honeycomb bed you are using? Great videos on the P20. I'm waiting on my V35 from Atezr. Seeing the performance of the P20 my V35 is going to do great.

    Hi, didn't I tell you at the last live stream that the P20 was a beast? Did you download the materials file for the P20 from the Louisiana Hobby Guy's website? it is already set for the most materials. I have only had to make very minor adjustments in the cut settings for a few materials. Using Rich's settings for 3mm baltic birch plywood I used 10 in/min at 90% power, and it sliced through it like butter. I love the P20. I have not yet tried anything thicker than 6 mm materials since I mostly work with 3 and 6mm thick plywood and solid wood. Yes, it also slices through solid 1/4 in poplar and basswood pretty good in a single pass.

    I'm trying to learn my P20. Looking forward to see you using yours. I didn't see the burn pattern with mine that you used. Where would I get one?

    I will likely be building an enclosure too, any advice on where to get the orange plexi or acrylic? is that some sort of special thing?

    For some reason I seem to have turned off my crosshairs on my XTool D1 Pro. What can I do to turn it back on? Sorry to be such a pain. Thanks Tim

      That has to be done in XTool software. Look for laser pointer setting.

    If you've tried others how does the noise level of the P20 compare to others. I listened to another review that said the stepper motors and air assist were "loud".

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  Год назад

      I wouldn't say its loud compared to most tools but you can hear them running. Module and air assist are similar to others in noise level.

      @@TheClackShack thanks so much. I'm enjoying your channel. Another quick question: how large of a honeycomb bed is needed? Is a 400x400 adequate?

    How do you like where the cords plug in? Would you rather they be on the side? With an enclosure, will you try to build it so the screen can be on the outside of the enclosure?

    What psi do you run with the shop air on the laser

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  Год назад

      Less than 10 psi, the gauge is kinda hard to read at low pressures. I did some testing and adjusted it up until I found the sweet spot.

    How did you change it to get it "Home" in the left rear vice the left front of the machine? I think I'd prefer that

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  Год назад +1

      I set the "return to location" after a burn. Home is still front left.

    • @randybranson1009
      @randybranson1009 Год назад

      Thanks Clack! Hadn't thought of doing that. When I do the "return to" and start the next project do I need to re-home it first, or will it go to the same starting point as the last item?
