Sea Bass fishing is amazing!! This Sea Bass Catch and Cook is way overdue on this channel. On this vid we don't fish .. we catch sea bass and do some explaining on 'how to' and tips so you can get out there.
Here is a brief run-down on how to catch sea bass
Look for structure. Sea bass like nearshore wrecks and reefs. A lot of bigger fish are caught farther out at sea or on wrecks that are not hit that often with less fishing pressure.
Once near the wreck - use your electronics to make sure A) There's fish there and B) YOu set your anchor correctly to be on the spot - like that you didn't drift too far past the wreck
It's all about finding the fish - once on the fish - the sea bass will hit literally ANYTHING

Fishing the structure around the amberjack tower up to two mile out that's pretty good but if you go to the triangle wrecks another half an hour 5 lb + all day

Just a shout-out to let ya'll know I'm really enjoying ur channel. It's obvious that you work really hard to put together good content, but it's even better because it's obvious how much you enjoy it. You're both pros, and you're both made for this. Good luck and continued success. Now, a suggestion. Most of ur stuff is action. How about some pre-game? Whether you're boating, kayaling, wading, etc., it would be nice to see how you planned your day, how you plan what equipment you need that day, and the process of getting to your spot, whether it be putting in your boat, putting in your kayak, or how you decide where to head out in waders, etc. I know this is a long comment, but I wanted to get the idea across. Keep up the good work, and keep having fun.

Like your vids! Loved to catch & cook sea bass out of Murrells Inlet when I had my center console. It's gone now, and I'll be going out on our local head boat, New Inlet Princess, starting in March. Curious, when I start making my hi-lo's (been a few years), what size circle were you using, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0? 13" to be legal, most keepers range from 13" - 16'. Really looking forward to using a new 3/0 Penn Squall lever drag. And your recipes will go good with red and black drum filets in the freezer. But I agree, sea bass is best!

I'm amazed at the difference between your sea bass and ours in Ireland. Yours are black, with a flared rear dorsal, while ours are a silver streak of mean. Do yours herd bait-fish in the shallows and then rip into them too?
