I know this video was a long time ago and just started and ordered Mungyo 72 set. I love you start at the top and move down and your color tabs are wonderful. It will be very helpful when my oil pastels arrive. Thank you for sharing you talent and lovely tutorial.
@@queenlightfury8964 I was about to ask the same question! You never use your fingers to blend the colors? What is baby oil? Anyway, thank you, it's beautiful (and a very relaxing video)!
@@clementinepv you can use your finger, but if you don't want to get your fingers dirty ,you can use baby oil which is moisturizer used on babies skin.
Yes, that's helpful. But like many others these days, I use my phone to access the internet and it would be a lot easier for is to follow along if you use BOTH those little pallette cards during the video and having the brands, state whether they are artist or student grade, colour names and if applicable, colour numbers listed in the details areas of your tutorials. It's just that they're a whole lot easier to read that way when using a phone or small tablet. Especially for newbies like me.
I think that should be no problem as long as there are some textures. But I've been mainly using cold press watercolor 300 g and oil/acrylic paper and love them, mainly because of texture of the paper and the thickness so that it's easier for me to store.
The clouds look so natural❤
Thank you~~
it's really pretty. I didn't know oil pastels could look like this

I just bought my first set of oil pastel, could you tell me what were you using to blend the colours? I loved your video, so much inspiration.
I know this is a little late. idk if you figured it out, but using baby oil or using the pastels itself, you can do your blending

Grew up hating Pentel sticks at school. RUclips prove that you can create amazing art with those greasy sticks. Even Oil-like portraits. Unbelievable.

Mungyo oil pastel or soft oil pastel?
Hi! These are Mungyo oil pastel. I believe they are considered soft pastel as well
do you recommend hot compress watercolor paper for oil pastels?
