I have a smiliar macallister with an output bin below. It makes a low rumble sound and the blades spin super slow. It has been in storage for 3 years and I'm wondering if I need to take it apart.... Its never been used. Yours looks a dream I love it. Wish mine would wirr instead of purr hehe
@@carlnewtonfishing6045 So I got brave and opened up the casing. It would seem in shipping it that the cast iron casing shattered but did 0 damage to the plastic casing internally nor any damage to the gears. Very odd since the damage is quite significant that the cast iron mold is effectively sowing the rotations yet producing no sound or grinding. Now to find someone who can recast these in Egypt :D:D Thank you so much for your help and video though - Id still be a lost chipper if not for this. 😁👍

Sounds to me like it's seized to me. try spraying some Wd40 on it.

I have the roller type it drags the stuff though big time
You don’t need to unplug it it will be shut off when the screw is undone
They jam because of the stupid teeth on the bottom of the outlet shute.
