Thanks alot! I helped my father in law to change the battery on his DN-01 2009. This video made more sense then the users manual!! Great explaining on you´re part! Took us a day to do this (with traveling between two cities to get the new battery and new plastic plugs). After we were done my father in law actually transferred the ownership of the bike to me!!! So this video helped me alot on my way to have a DN-01 as my first motorcycle!! Sorry for the bad English.
at 2:51. If you use a plastic body tool you can run it along the bottom edge of the top plastic and it will loosedn so you can put the right angle tap directly into the female slot...then everything lines up. Is such a pain to put in a new battery. I think next time it will go much faster. Really like the DN01...mine is black...great video helping a lot of people that own these to change their own batteries...
This really helped a lot. I got over 5 years on the Yuasa I just replaced . I installed another Yuasa and I'm glad I spent the extra money because I don't want to have to go through this anymore than necessary.
Hello Mike. You are right, it is crazy - so many hidden screws.. They were thinking the battery will live forever =) By the way, I managed to replace it without removing the side cover, only the top one == 4.11 -- I needed this second =))) I bought a used bike, and I looks like some one have already had the cover broken a bit. Anyway, I was more confident after watching your video..
Brilliant job I've just followed your video and changed my battery thanks so much saved me breaking things wouldn't have done it with out your help 😊

Thanks brah! The stupid manual made the bottom clips look like they were on top for that back piece, and I didn't know they were underneath.
thanks for the video, unfortunately, the previous owner of my motorcycle has already torn off the tab at the backlight...
Great video and explanation.
Many thanks
Excellent and very informative. Many thanks.
