  • Here are the two tunes I am working up for Roxbury for this Saturday . A friend in the north of England is working on a video that one of the tunes might be useful to have on line ..I am playing an instrumental version of Flowers Of The Forest" a bagpipe tune written for the battle of FLodden 1513 in Northumbria .I am playing it to honor the leave taking of my 100 year old Pottery teacher from the world this year who was of Scottish background ...Sadie at the back door is a tune for our new cat Rosie :)

Been following your channel for a hell of a long time. Maybe all the way back to Old Plank Road?! Always great stuff. One of the earliest tunes I learned was Sadie. Love the syncopation/blue notes and even a harmonic. .

Amazing Guy! Just love both versions (of flowers) and I think, for the video, there is a place for both…The final segment is so joyful though. Cheers, Phil.
