While I enjoy simple camping, having access to electricity is a must for my wife. With this in tow, we were easily able to hike in to a backwoods camp site. It's not too heavy, but make sure you are able to either put it in a backpack or pull in a cart if you will be walking a long distance.
As far as actual usage goes, it worked exceptionally well. Over two nights and three days, we fully inflated a queen size mattress, kept both our phones charged, ran a USB powered fan over-night and some during the day plus both our smart watches.
