Apparently I missed this video . Besides my 1973 Jeep CJ5 project , in the last year or two , I was able to complete , to what extent , another Jeep CJ5 , a 1980 , which is currently being driven . It still needs more work such as some rust repair but I can only work on one Jeep at a time . It is quite expensive as well , but I’m sure you’re well aware too . The removal of the transmission and transfer case reminded me of the removal of the engine , transmission and transfer case . I replaced a four cylinder engine with a six cylinder and a four speed transmission with a five speed transmission , all from a later year jeep CJ7 . I hope you are fortunate in finding parts , it is not as common as once was in my area to find parts for this model jeep . In other areas of the United States ,,it is a bit more common or perhaps very common . But one thing is for sure , these Jeep models have not been manufactured since the 1980’s so luck must be with us if we are to be successful . Thank you for sharing once again and best of luck to you on your jeep project .
