Smoke detectors can be defective sometimes. Back in 2014, while I was sleeping in bed, a smoke detector went off, I was screaming, that thing wouldn't shut up. I'd carry two pillows with me to go to the bathroom and back to my bedroom and then the smoke detectors turned off and then my uncle came into my room and assumed that I was smoking in bed which I really wasn't.
I remember when I got woken up at 6:00AM by the smoke detector here at my house it sent me in to flight mode I put my shoes on and almost ran out the nearest door.
This happened this night. I was sleeping, and I heard some beeps. I didn’t think too much about of it, because I could have been at a sleep state where I could generate my own noises. However, I snapped back to reality and the smoke detector kept beeping, this time, LOUDER. It got to the point where I had the smoke detector ripped out of the ceiling and had its battery removed. However, IT KEPT BEEPING. It still had a bit of power in it, and after a few minutes, it stopped. I don’t really wanna jinx it, but it just did I guess.
And Boris should think twice about smashing a smoke alarm, that has a bit of radioactive material, so if Boris thinks twice of killing another smoke alarm, he's gonna get Americium in his face, (Americium is a radioactive material in smoke detectors)
