@@skootergirl22 You know fiction can affect on reality, right? The show normalizes abuse by giving children the wrong image of parenting and family dynamics. Children in abusive households don't even recognize they're being abused. Just like parents hate Caillou because of lack of discipline, they also hate Horrid Henry for Henry's parents favoring Peter and being unfair towards him.
@@skootergirl22 WRONG. I'm not against showing imperfect families. The Simpsons are imperfect, and everybody loves them. The Addams are imperfect, and everybody loves them. Henry's parents however - discourage Henry when he shows interest in something. - turn everything bad Peter does into Henry's fault. - don't guide him accurately on what he did wrong but label him as horrid. - took away all his stuff during the night. - purposely starved Henry by preventing him from having tea (in Britain, synonym for eating dinner) after school and making him kind of sandwiches they knew he hates. - didn't let him have cake before tea but let Peter have cake instead. - didn't get any of Henry's favorite treats on his birthday. - cheered for the idea of him dissapprearing. - showed no consern when Henry decided to run away. - took away his right with electrics for a year. - forced him to do ballet instead of letting him to do karate. - laughed when Henry was publicly humiliated on TV. - didn't comfort him when his favorite band broke up. - didn't stay over night at the hospital with him. - scolded him about breaking the TV and the DVD player and not being worried about his welfare in the slightest. - put a drawing where Henry is isolated from his family on the frigde and never thought they're in the fault. - have resolted in physical violence like it's hinted in the series. That's not being imperfect; that's CHILD ABUSE. If Henry was a real person, both him and Peter would've been taken away by CPS and the parents would be in jail. If you can't differate imperfection from child abuse, stay away from families with children.
_hurt people, hurt people_ -dhar mann( foster kid can get adopted) The foster kid in the video is seen as a troublemaker where in reality his own father gave him up for adoption when he was a baby beacause he wqsnt ready to be a dad but then his dad has another kid but still doesn't want him so he thinks that nobody loves him and they never will.
My father went through this for all of his childhood, my grandmother is a very mean person, she always neglected and abused my father, while his brother was her lovely son. She even tried to do this between my brother and me, but we just ignored, cause we have a good relationship, much because my father never used favoritism or anything like this
Henry getting mistreated by his family is just as bad as the McCallister Family mistreating Kevin for doing nothing wrong at all from Home alone. Henry's Family is awful.
This is similar treatment, and its not me, its my cousin. Lets call him Vince, he used to be favoured by both his parents but that attention and favoritism then shifted to his newborn baby brother. His father overlook some of his successes and acknowledge only a few, his little brother now gets most of the attention. Vince love his little brother, but now his parents are favoring his sibling more than him. I remember a time where Vince received a blackeye from his father because they had some sort of argument. I dont know the full details but i can tell that his brother was currently being spoiled by his parents. His father is the reason I had little self-esteem for myself, since where both Vince and me were little, his father would scold or sometimes hurt me because I would accidentally hurt Vince or curse at me. But now, me and his father are on fine terms but I dont feel like interacting with him.

Maybe Henry is adopted bc his hair and also brown plus yellow is like a brownish colour soo like ya or maybe Peter is adopted it makes more sense bc he get’s more love soo Maybe the parents don’t want him to make him feel left out and find out he is adopted and also he doesn’t know bc he was adopted when he was a new born and by secret the parents adopted him
Tbh in the books the parents were actually fair and responsible parents
I would respectfully disagree, Henry's parents have bullied henry for doing nothing wrong and punished him when he was laughing in Horrid Henry perfect day.
@John.Excelsior1999They complained Henry cried and soiled his diapers as a baby. Yeah, definitely delusional morons
Henrys parents: Child abusers@@skootergirl22
Have you watched the aliens episode the walk in the countryside episode and the baby sitter episode
He put his brother in danger with a hornets nest tried to extort his baby sitter and ruined his brothers picture and threatened him he also framed margret for doing nothing wrong and he’s a thief
I actually noticed that after watching 5 episode of it a year ago for nostalgia but I as a teen realized that henery was actually innocent
My parents bought me lots of comics for Horrid Henry when I was a teenager 😅
In India,The show is dubbed
The famous line"Dont be horrid henry"Which in hindi translates "thapad parega henry"which means
I will slap you henry
It really shows hate and abuse and favouritism 😔😔
Just had a random thought
What if Henry’s parents don’t like him because he’s an accident?
This thought just came out of nowhere
I was todays old when i realised henrys parents hate him.....
9:00 "It was PIZZA'S fault!"
Yes it was Pizzas fault
Henry is a good kid Pizza is the Horrid one
@@BengaliMapper That's one of the funniest misspelling ever! 😆
@@tultsi93 I know
@skootergirl22 It does, cause it often misspells words because maybe the text to speech mishears what the characters are saying in the video?
The mom always says Henry should be more like Peter
Mom and Henry in Peters room.
Mom: Your room should look like this.
Henry: You mean like girly land?
Mom: No, like neat and tidy land.
6:12 oh my gosh that’s heartbreaking. The concern in his actual panicked yell when his brother was going to get injured…😢❤
Since the relationship of Gig and Jett (Beverly Hills Teens) is highly unfunctioning, my headcanon of Gig being Horrid Henry makes even more sense now!
@skootergirl22 SnipeSnap is one of few RUclipsrs who don't use those programs. He talks with his own voice. Streamed's real voice is heard in the very first videos.
@@skootergirl22 SnipeSnap does Horrid Henry videos with passion and because of nostalgia. He's also funny, interested in psychology, and puts effort on his works.
@@skootergirl22 And also entertainment.
Henry's parents however
- discourage Henry when he shows interest in something.
What if Henry is secretly adopted?
Nah bro his hair matches his father's hair
In one episode, they blame him for something he couldn't have done because they had drove off without him and forgotten him.
"every child deserves parents but not every parent deserves children" -a wise woman
_hurt people, hurt people_
-dhar mann( foster kid can get adopted)
The foster kid in the video is seen as a troublemaker where in reality his own father gave him up for adoption when he was a baby beacause he wqsnt ready to be a dad but then his dad has another kid but still doesn't want him so he thinks that nobody loves him and they never will.
Not me currently having a crush on henry when I was 5- 💀💀
omg i did too
honestly if Henry were to run away i wouldn't blame him his parents are either psychopaths or just plain bad parents
I never knew that horrid Henry was a tv show
Horrid Henry is the icon of my childhood
"You're not a rock star, and You never will be"
I hate Henry's mom already.
Let’s not forget about the fact that the mouse look like The mouse from inanimate insanity from 13 years ago
Parents look like angels compared to my dad lol
Mom? Horrid henry is a british show it should be mum
