Listening to a 13 year old say how happy she is to be pregnant is heartbreaking. Saying “I knew I would get pregnant” is jaw dropping. What in the actual heck?!?! She literally could have barely had a period before getting pregnant. It’s so sad.
Nowadays it’s quite common for girls to get their periods around age 10 so they’re well into a regular cycle by 13. I remember at school in sex Ed they were talking about them as something we would start at like 14 or 15 but every girl I knew had already started her’s by the time we were 12. She shouldn’t have allowed her 13/14 ur old daughter’s boyfriend move in .. not good parenting from my point of view no matter how supportive she was …
I swear they always do or they'll have like a similar storyline but different ending like there's one where two girls are having relationship problems and then at the end one decides to work through their problems and the other splits up because I think the bloke's not interested in the baby xxx
Jeez when I was 13 I had no idea about sex let alone was interested at that age. I was more interested in surviving my school. I'm now 26/27 next week and still no kids. I cant afford a child at this stage and may not have my first baby until my early 30s. In all honesty becoming a mother slightly scares me a little bit as it's a huge responsibility raising a tiny helpless human being for 18 years
Yeah I was like “what?” There’s nothing wrong with a second hand store for some things. I’m 5months pregnant now and just got a bunch of hand me down clothes from friends.
It’s really not that bad. Growing up me and my bother had loads of second hand clothes cause they were all my mum could afford. Kids these days think their parents have boat loads of money
Me at 40: I'm so glad I never had a baby! I decided at age 11, a year after my ADHD/autistic brother was born, that I never wanted children. Best. Decision. Ever. I have dogs, and two stepkids. The teenage stepkids live with my husband and myself, and remind me every day why I never wanted kids. And whomever says, "it's different when they're your own", can jump off a cliff for all I care. Not everyone is meant to have kids, and not everyone SHOULD have kids.

They may be the same age but the difference in attitude and maturity between these two is huge. Courtnay had the loss of Danny to deal with, fundraising in his memory and taking care of her daughter. Megan was disrespectful to her mum and was expecting her mum to buy expensive stuff for the baby, when her mum has other children to support.
I feel so bad for Megan's mom. What an ungrateful little brat. "I'm not a cheapskate!" Girl, you are 14. You don't have any money. Sit the hell down. Ugh.
Kalyn Brocato Good god ... why in hell do you feel sorry for her? SHE'S the adult, SHE created the "brat". Feel sorry for poor Megan, who's never had the fortune to have a decent role model, and is still a child. Jesus you people are awful ... siding with lazy and self-absorbed adults over kids. You should be ashamed.
She should raise her child properly, the parents are clearly the influence but there should be an age where you can act sensible and look at things from different points of view. The mum was immature which made her immature but they both need to fix their traits and relationship
Megan's mom is responsible for her daughter's attitude. She's the one who raised her. Also, I have no pity for a person who smokes inside the same house a pregnant woman is living in. She couldn't even bother to go outside to smoke a cig, she just had to do it inside with her pregnant daughter 🙄
@@ralphbosworth914 the blame can't be placed on a single party. Megan is her own person, and she has a mind of her own. you can say that her mom is immature all you want, but the fact is; a parent can only control their child so much. besides, maybe the mom did the best she could while raising Megan; we don't know the whole story. there's so much that goes on behind closed doors, that the cameras don't show. to be honest; we don't really have the right to judge them so harshly; it's none of our business, and we don't have all the facts. this is one of the many problems with society... we pass judgement without knowing all the facts, and that never ends well. we should all try to be a little more accepting and understanding of others.
I have to say, I have a lot of respect for the first girl! The fact she was making a skate park in Danny's name is amazing! Also, I love how she seems willing to continue her education as much as possible, provide a lovely life for her baby, and take responsibility for her actions of getting pregnant, is amazing to me.
Courtnay is strong. I cannot imagine losing the love of my life and father of my child- especially at such a young age. Their daughter is beautiful. I read in the comments here that their daughter, Amelia, was diagnosed with a form of cancer. To anybody curious about Amelia's caner diagnosis- she has LCH disease. Apparently only a minority of LCH would be considered life threatening. I hope and pray that Amelia beats LCH and has a long, normal and happy life. I can't imagine what that family is going through but they need all of the prayers and love sent their way.
Amelia Danni recovered and is currently in remission. She had a relapse when she was 14 I believe, but recovered again. She has a brother named Zane and a sister is I believe...
Yeah, that was especially horrible. Cannot imagine being so cruel to my child, nor can I imagine my mom ever telling me something like that. What normal parent would want their child to go through immense pain?

Bethany Gilmore they should, but what young teenager with the knowledge of knowing that a girl is on BC would want to have sex with a condom. How important parents support is too!
Not really.. no sex education
I think I read it’s because children weigh more now so that’s somehow affecting hormones.

I just read online that earlier this year, Courtnay and Danny’s daughter was diagnosed with a rare cancer. That honestly made me want to cry! 😢💕
So sad how old is their daughter now and do u have article
Awww no that's awful is there a link to read at all
Lauren Stone thank you for sharing the link to the article. That poor girl just can't catch a break!! She was way more mature than any 14 year-old I have ever met and I admire her for the way she handled everything. It just goes to show that the support of a loving family goes a long way. I hope things turn around for her and her beautiful little girl.
Oh my goodness
@@angiehale7406 also I think children do as they're shown, rather than as they're told. Courtnay's parents have their own business so their dedication to success obviously rubbed off on their daughter. I'm sure that with her attitude everything will be okay. The article says she's already working hard on raising the money she needs to get the best treatment possible
Courtney deserves all the love and respect the way how she has coped with Danny's Passing. She is extremely mature for Her age. Not once has she complained or be rude to her Mom, they did everything together. Courtney Danny is with you , he did left a very special of himself with You, each time that you looked into her beautiful face, you will see Danny smiling up at You, letting you know that he is you and Amalia's Guardian Angel!! I will do this with my daughter
Are you mad? She allowed her underage daughtes boyfriend to live with them! Best mum ever hope you haven't got kids!
They should have gotten her on the pill day one. Disgusting parenting.
She shouldn’t have allowed her 13/14 ur old daughter’s boyfriend move in .. not good parenting from my point of view no matter how supportive she was …
*why did they have to combine an amazing story of a strong young mum with an immature little spoilt oblivious brat* 🤨🤨
Mo r right. I made a comment only using ‘her, she’ what not and then later saw there’s two different mums. Had to go back and edit my comment 😂
To show the contrast maybe? Not a bad thing to help educate young girls, that perhaps parenthood isn't for everyone
True
I swear they always do or they'll have like a similar storyline but different ending like there's one where two girls are having relationship problems and then at the end one decides to work through their problems and the other splits up because I think the bloke's not interested in the baby xxx
Jeez when I was 13 I had no idea about sex let alone was interested at that age. I was more interested in surviving my school. I'm now 26/27 next week and still no kids. I cant afford a child at this stage and may not have my first baby until my early 30s. In all honesty becoming a mother slightly scares me a little bit as it's a huge responsibility raising a tiny helpless human being for 18 years
No second hand stores for her baby? Reality is going to hit her like a mack truck.
kathy Higgins if I were her mum I would have just been like “on you go, go buy it all yourself then”
Yeah I was like “what?” There’s nothing wrong with a second hand store for some things. I’m 5months pregnant now and just got a bunch of hand me down clothes from friends.
kathy Higgins I’m 22! Married, pregnant and my little girl is getting mostly second hand stuff. Babies are expensive as you need to be prepared
I love secondhand stores. All my clothes come from the goodwill and my favorite thrift store.
It’s really not that bad. Growing up me and my bother had loads of second hand clothes cause they were all my mum could afford. Kids these days think their parents have boat loads of money
Them at 14: I'm ready to have a baby.
Me at 31: Raising a child sounds intimidating... Still not ready!

Wow, that literally put the biggest lump in my throat, because your post is only two months ago, 🥲🥲still going to comment on the original three year ago, I was thinking the same thing, such a beautiful little family, even in the midst of an utter devastation, for both families, by the end of this one, I truly cared as a mum does 😇✌🏻💕& Ali art✌🏻💕& TY 4 update 👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻💕
"I ain't a cheap skate" Uhhh you don't have any income, what are you talking about?
Hahahahha
AMEN
Courtnay and Megan are so intensely different, it's interesting to have them in the same episode
Their families are the largest difference between the both.
Megan's should be quite and be thankful that her mom is helping rude little brat
The maturity level difference between these two are amazing. I pray for them both! ❤️

Thank you you tube for throwing this up there and reminding me why putting my teenage daughter on birth control was the best choice ive made.
I have 4 girls and will not be putting them on BC as it does nothing to protect them against STDS. Not to mention the side effects can be really scary on a young growing body.
My husband and I are very involved with our daughters and I hope our relationship with them teaches them enough that they don't become sexually active and wait like their dad and I did. We didn't start a family till we got married and finished our education. My husband and I hope the same happens with our girls. But ultimately it's their choice.
@@momofmany9954 they should all still use condoms while on birth control, that's not a replacement.
Bethany Gilmore they should, but what young teenager with the knowledge of knowing that a girl is on BC would want to have sex with a condom. They’re gonna try it and he or she is going to end up wanting/liking the feeling of no condom and end up thinking that BC is the main protection they need atm.
@@Liz_Mix condoms don't make it feel any different. And the parents should be educating them.

Crystal I think she is 9 not 7
Is there any update to this?
Oh dear, if she thinks the back pain is bad, Her labor is going to be... Interesting.
The only real difference is I see between these two girls is attitude and outlook on life. Courtnay had to go through a lot at a very young age already and I think that has put her head on straight and got her priorities in order. I also noticed that she is surrounded by a lot more positivity, and it has nothing to do with money if you ask me.
I think the main difference is environment. Yes attitudes are different but I think environment is most important, since they’re just girls who both made the same choices.
I think it’s about 20 IQ points and little to no emotional maturity.

My favourite part was 23:00 - 23:07.. Good stretch, and very sophisticated paw action.
I got teary after hearing about Danny passing away but she will be an amazing mother. I can see it in her
How rude is that Megan😴
When I was 14 I didn't even have my period lol
Sister Shook really? Well I was 11. That’s not anything I can control so
Me neither, I was a late bloomer.
I got mine at 13.
i got mine at 10
I didn't start still I was 16 and had my first baby at the age of 22 nearly 23 but I know people who have had baby at a young age xxxx
the - loss of whoever their grieving over is heavens gain - ! thanks
Courtney, I have no doubt that you have become an amazing mother, You have a wonderful support system and you’re incredibly mature. 💜
Oh it’s even sad to watch now knowing her daughter has a rare form of cancer 💔 I sure her daddy is looking over her and guiding all the way 👼🏽
All I could think while was watching this was that Courtnay seems very mature for her age. Her daughter was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. She must be so resilient to cope with her boyfriend's death and their daughter getting cancer. Truly inspiring.
My first hug, holding hands and kiss on the cheek was at the age 17...
What is obvious is the level of support each girl has.
Megan's mum is absolutely nasty. She definitely isn't there for Megan!
I think it's all about context, Megan's mom has had a hard time raising her kids on her own and is worried about her daughter's future, also it's obvious that they have different economical situations
why was this in my recommended
*and why did i watch it*
