robert regala I got my new N80 two months ago and got BP-51 on it with 300kg constant load springs on the rear and it rode superbly when I picked up the car, felt like you are floating on air with no weight in the back at all, never jumped around like the factory suspension with no weight in the back. Now that it's weighted up with around 300kg of weight the ride is outstanding, you literally float on air, only thing I might do is put another leaf in the rear packs and take them up to 400kg constant load. It is seriously worth the money, I know one guy who really likes the look of my Hilux with the BP-51 suspension and would like it on his bt50, but would prefer a cheaper option, I don't think he will get the same results with a cheaper system even it if has shocks with remote reservoirs I don't believe. Floating on air is the best way to describe the ride I reckon, it's so good!
Hi I am from Abu Dhabi and I've seen BP-51 newly installed on a Land Cruiser and man I fell in-love with the design and technology! I have a 4 door Jeep Wrangler and I would like this shocks to replace my current Teraflex shocks. Now the questions are: 1. Is it compatible with Terflex springs or do i need to replace the springs as well?; 2. What is the lift height range?; 3. When will it be available in Abu Dhabi?
question from a 4x4 noob? whats the difference of the bp-51 vs the normal nitro charger shocks in laymans terms? i just installed a 2" lift nitro charger on my fj cruiser. i was about to get this new bp-51 but stocks were not available atm. thank you!
Hi rtcivic, they're actually very different products. The main difference is the bypass technology, which allows oil within the shock to move both through the piston stack (like Nitrocharger shocks) and around it via bypass channels. This makes the ride extremely plush during normal driving and extremely controlled over more difficult terrain as valving is stronger at the ends of the stroke (full extension and compression), and softer in the mid zone (normal driving). They're also fully adjustable in both rebound and compression. I'd recommend chatting to one of our sales team for a more thorough explanation.
hi thanks for the reply. btw is the bp51 height adjustable?whats the max height "? also if i do 20% offroad and 80% road do i need a bp51 or a ome nitro charger shock will do just fine? thank you
rtcivic Our Nitrocharger range is an extremely good product, however, BP-51 is superior in all conditions given the adjustability and bypass technology which gives a best of both worlds performance (control where you need it and then comfort on the road). There is an adjustable coil seat on the coilover models but that's more to set the height based on your accessory fitment and the weight you carry. Once it's set (before fitment), it can't be adjusted again without removing the assembly. The shocks are adjustable in rebound and compression though, and this can be performed on vehicle with the C spanner that comes with the kit.
have just ordered Bp 51 kit for Hilux 2014 ,are they set up prior to fitment ? weight of vehicle ,winch etc? or is this done and adjusted at dealer level? or can it be done DIY as I am a mechanic
Hi matjinthol, the shocks should be adjusted by the store/dealer prior to fitment, based on the accessories you have fitted and the weight you carry. Rebound and compression can then be adjusted on the vehicle as required. Further adjustment of the coil seat would require the suspension to be removed, adjusted and re-fitted. You're going to be very happy with the new shocks, they're amazing on the HiLux.
kubanoloko Hi kubanoloko, BP-51 is available for the FJ. Quantities are still extremely limited, so best to speak with our US team regarding international availability.
MOREENGINEERING Hi guys, are you referring to the upcoming LC200 facelift? We have applications to suit the current 200 series. Your local ARB store will be able to provide more info.
ARB4WD No, I just meant that a 2015 Build LC200 Diesel. My 120 series Prado ran OME suspension and I was very happy with it. I do remember as i was driving away my local ARB store said to me "you will notice the difference straight away". Well I have to say, I didn't, not straight away anyway. But once I hit the bush, thats when I noticed it. Nice, very nice. Less bottoming out, and not that wallowing that used to come from the standard suspension. And then back on the blacktop around home it became evident too. No more wallowing around over speed humps at low speed. in fact it was at it's best when you didn't even slow down for speed humps. Thats only one reason why I am looking to put OME on my New LC200 Diesel. So back to my original question....Available for Current model LC200 Diesel?
+ARB4WD nice work with development of BP-51 suspension system. :)
BP-51 fit well on my N80.Its like floating your floating in any terrain.Best coilover shock I had.

Sangu Hwang Applications for the PX are currently under development.

How to get this product? I need full kit for my 2015 4Runner
dode darman pray
Great new suspension system but for starters or even moderate users will find the setting too hard to adjust right.
If you can’t operate a wrench then I suppose anything off-road is off limits to you. Remember to bring a man.
