There's just something transcendent about Omnimon (Omegamon). Its hard to describe, the design, the power, the implications for the characters, the entrance. Its all perfect.
I still remember as a kid when small Patamon transformed into Angemon the first time. Such a great digimon-beautiful, strong and bad ass. One of the best cartoon scenes ever-at least for me. First 3 seasons are stil the best. Good old times..
Ordinemon for me was one of the only fusions that gave me chills. Was a pretty tough moment to watch Kari (Hikari) break down and this all came to be. We all knew it was gonna lead to one of the neatest fusions I have ever seen but this one for me beats it it out just because of how unique it is and terrifying at the same time.
I kinda get what you are saying. The first digimon series did everything so well from Patamon evolving to angamon, the first dark digivilution etc it's hard for the other series to really top those moments.

They did just paieldramon dirty by putting him so low on this list. Below anything from fusions or frontier is absurd. Top 5 should be 1 omnimons first appearance, 2 imperialdramon (with a subsection to paieldramon). 3 in any order the rest of the 02s DNA digivolutions. 4. Tamers biomerge (idk if it counts because it's not 2 digimon but neither was the one from tamers they showed.) And I don't even know a fifth. Shoutmon anything is garbagem it might as well not even been a digimon show. Frontier is a tad more forgivable and at least watchable. However it still could have been not a digimon story. Taking away the partner digimon was a bad idea. And my rant is over.

i have a great problem with the english dub ... the original and the brasilian one are waaaay better ... what they did to digimon xros wars ... it was HORRIBLE in english and the change of names everytime ...
