Mark, I’m a relatively new subscriber and your as bad as I am on placing orders. I’ve placed 4 different orders on baits and tackle since yesterday. I’ve had a lot of success so far using a hover rig with core tackles rig. The spotted bass love them. I just arrived in Canada where I spend part of my summers. Hoping the smallies like it as well.

I have ordered the core tackle jig heads as well, but when I want to downsize, I use a Gamakatsu Horizon head for smaller swimbaits. I caught a bunch of fish today rigging it on a 6th sense 3" whale swimbait.
I never thought of trying that, but the baits will lay flat on the bottom when you rig it with the hook up. But it’s an interesting idea that I may try. 👍

Should this be attached with a loop knot?
I suppose you could, but I’m just tying a polomar.
Why wouldn’t you thread it on with the hook coming out of the side so it’s flat on bottom after you’ve done.
