- We'll learn someday. Don't give an old boomer a pedal that reminds him of the '80s. He'll talk about it.
Luckily, Larry plays it, too. And it's the best pedal of any that's tried to capture the mojo of a Marshall JCM 2205 - and very few even dare to attempt it. This pedal is your starting line to get Tom Morello's signature tone. The amp is unique, quirky, and inspiring - just like Tom.
You'll learn more than you probably want to about the lineage of the 2205 amp, but you'll hear the tone. That's what counts. Check this pedal out!

Want the sound of virtually every 80's band, this does it!
Man this is the best review for this kind of pedal I ever ever watch! Congrats! 101 of JCM!! Tks
This is the best pedal I've bought in years! It's got so many built in features you'll have it for weeks before you really discover all of it's capabilities. Yes, it absolutely does Tom's sound but it also does a hell of a job to the 2205 and JCM 800 sound. The clipping is super unique too. It does at least 90% of the sound of almost every band from the 80's and 90's.
Great demo
Tom has the mid maxed out, bass maxed out, treble almost maxed out, gain maxed out, presence turned off volume 80 %
amazing detailed video, i have this pedal coming today!!!
So, does it RATM?
@@p4fizzle on any neck pickup yes, it Tom Morello's haha
@@brandoncohen3606 awesome 👌 thanks for the response 👍
Morello does not set his amp the way you've mentioned. He actually dimes the bass, mid, and gain. Treble is around 1 o'clock, presence is almost all the way off
