    Very nice. You excel at these Man vs Nature stories. For anyone who does not know: this story was adapted several times on the old time radio programs "Suspense" and "Escape." My favorite version is the Suspense episode that aired on 11.11.1956 which featured Vincent Price , John Dehner and Ben Wright.

      If you're going to do "gruesome," it better be entertaining, right? Thanks, Offshore! E.E.F.

    I just love to hear various voice actors and their interpretation of the same story.
    It's as if it's a different story every time.
    Thank you.

      Rosie. I wasn't sure about the laughter. The ending, as written, seemed a little flat. It occurred to me that the narrator was as damaged as his fellow light keepers. Thanks for listening! E.E.F.

    I love the fact you read this one as the Vincent Price dramatisation is a favourite - and you have a similar voice to the legendary Mr Price. Bravo, Sir. 👏

      Thanks. The V. Price version is a radio classic, and I didn't want to listen to it before I recorded it. I heard it on the Sirius XM old time radio channel years ago and, as I recall, its different in a lot of ways, especially the climax. Yeah, I sound a bit like him. I went out of my way to channel the "Merchant of Menace" (as Forry Ackerman used to call him), when I recorded "The Fly" here on the F.F. Channel. Thanks again for tuning in. E.E.F.

      I appreciate you commenting. I'm curious and I'm going to start asking listeners a question. Do you have a special time and place when you listen to this channel? I've found out that a lot of long haul truckers listen. Cheers. E.E.F.

      @@FrenchEdward06I am something of a night owl, so I usually listen around 1:00/1:30AM or thereabouts.
      I used to drive truck myself, about 15 years ago. Your YT obviously wasn’t around then but had it been it would have *absolutely* helped the hours and miles roll by.

    I'm convinced that a new title for you must be discovered or created. The available selection simply does not adequately do you justice. Story Teller . . . ? . . . Yes, but you not only tell the story but define and animate the character within it. Narrator . . . ? . . . closer, but that's inadequate too. Your readings flesh out the characters so well they are visible. And on a weekly basis too.
    [Bard . . . Grand Master Bard . . . Master Syntactician] ?

      @FrenchEdward06  6 месяцев назад

      I've tried "Shrieker speaker," and "as told by," but I like "Master Syntactician." Thank you. E.E.F.
