We need to talk about CROWDS! Planet Zoo Every Animal Franchise Zoo (Part 6)

Is it even possible to put every animal in one franchise zoo? I'm going to find out! Today we add 10 (YES 10) new species including Black & White Lemur, Red Ruffed Lemur, Ring-tailed Lemur, Boa Constrictor, Bongo, Bonobo, Bornean Orangutan, Siamang, Brazilian Salmon Pink Tarantula and Brazilian Wandering Spider into the Every Animal Zoo! My challenge is to create a profitable Franchise Mode zoo that will eventually house every animal in Planet Zoo. Join along as we learn how to create a successful franchise mode zoo together! About me: I'm Plastic Swans and I do a lot of wacky stuff with Planet Zoo, like racing the animals and time trials. I like to call this kind of thing wholesome chaos and that's what I try to do most of all on the channel. Wheee! Shoutout to meee! It looks great 🎉 I love the spider shops! If you get tired of looking at the shush-signs in the lemur habitat, you can sink them into the ground and they’ll still work 😊

I didn't know guests could walk through a lemur enclosure and not get scared in planet zoo until now.

Yep, in the species data tab, there's a section that says 'can guest enter habitat' - where it says yes, you can build the walkthrough habitats

The orangutan/siamang habitat looks beautiful! Just simple enough, just complicated/decorated enough. Also I love the way you're presenting the exhibit animals too - it's like they actually have a purpose being there! Most of the time I just plop down a spider somewhere in the middle of the map and move on xD

I'm attempting to get them to 'fit in', which is a little difficult considering we're putting species down in alphabetical order rather than part of the world/biome they come from!

@@PlasticSwans I'm not sure how you could fit it exactly but it would be cool if there we're brachiation frames in the habitat so that you can show off a behavior that only these animals have.

I feel like it would have made more sense if you put the puff adder in the exhibit box in order to fit the African savannah that the antelope park and the restaurant is going for. This is because the boa constrictor is a tropical South American animal.

will you be adding new pieces or animals if an update comes out while ur working on this series? btw try reducing maximum visitors allowed limit to about 50,000.

Yes, I'll be looking at new pieces if they fit in (if we get a theme one) and any new animals, they'll be added in order they appear on the zoopedia. So, any new ones that would've been added in alphabetical order if they were already here I'll add right away, the rest will slot in with the alphabetical order like we're already doing 🙂

This zoo is going to be L A G G Y by time you get to the final episode, I tried to do about 100 animals in Panthera Zoo and my potato PC nearly blew up

Yeah. I've been looking at mitigation strategies for recording without the lag, it's getting to the point it'll be an issue soon!

@@PlasticSwans I'm sure you've done some of these already, but I recommend lower graphics, no guests, and building in pause mode

@@TheSpaceGiraffe Absolutely. I always build in pause, avoid waterfalls and I will look at lowering some of the graphics soon. I checked yesterday and CPU is up to 90% running the game and recording at the same time. It'll only take a few more animals before it starts hitting 100%!

I think if anything is going to make this challenge fail, it's going to end up being the lag. That's the real challenge lol - not the space, not the money, THE LAG
